I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

I am done in tonight! Tough week in work! Just been for a very quick swim and sauna to shake it off.

B scrambled eggs on toast
D garlic chicken and lettuce with olive oil Mayo
S 3 crackers and cheese / peanuts

Needed that extra today
7800 steps and I don't plan on moving now 🤣

Lunch was leftovers from yesterday -
A homemade chicken dish with ginger, garlic, onion, mushrooms and chopped tomatoes - stirred in some soft cheese and a small bit of rice

Dinner - pork with salad and fried onion and mushroom

Had a doughnut for pudding!

Did a workout and 7.7k steps

Would have been a good day if not for the doughnut.

Plenty of water and a few coffees.

Will see what the scales say tomorrow.

@jelly79 yep usually about 14-16hours fast.
maybe I keep it at a strict 16 move fwd. ate last at 530 so won’t eat till 930 tmrw…am fully on black coffee now so it’s a clean fast

@Smartmove that's so good! I struggle to track (I do loosely)

I0s 5.4 today 🎉 really pleased! That's 2.2 off in 2 weeks! Really need to keep this momentum going! (It's so easy to flick the switch the other way!)

I am out for a big walk all today and have 4 kids over for a present later! I'll fast longer and have fish for tea I think!

Well done @jelly79 that's a great loss and really good weight - is that your recent lowest? What's the plan for the next week? What have you been doing differently these last couple of weeks to get great results?

@Chunkymonkey123 How is it going! Check in with us even if you're not on it at the moment - be good to see how you are.

@Smartmove I probably eat during an 8 hour window too but I start eating 12pm onwards for my lunch so I can have dinner a little layer. It's not a clean fast though as I do have coffee in the morning with milk (sometimes sugar!!)

I was 10:8:1 this morning which is the same as yesterday and a pound on from last Friday.

Aim will be 10:6 by next Friday so want to see a couple off.

Need a bit of a plan to get there so will have a think about that.

Still 10.11 something funny going on! Or just shows me that it’s very hard for me to move from here! I prob have to have zero days off

anyways I try again today!!!
walnuts and coffee now 15 hour fast
olive egg ham etc like a deli board
chicken curry cauliflower rice

Lots of steps as taking dd to park now
hopefully 10.10 tmrw?! But then put but will not blow whole day or whole weekend

@jelly79 wonderfull! Great move in 2 weeks. Do u find it easy to excercise on low cals? I get so hungry then eat more! Tend to only do excercise over weekends when cals are more

@hollyblueivy ur a great weight. Hopefully next week u see 10.6!

@Smartmove a plateau is so frustrating! I have just returned to my June weight! It's hard! Keep doing all the right things and the scales aren't everything. It could be losing fat and building muscle too x

I exercise at 6:30 so I don't have time to check my energy :) and it's a routine I've made since lockdown. To be honest I do it more for the way I feel than calorie burn! But there are days I get extra hungry afterwards, I find MCT coffee really helps with that so allows me to continue my fast.

I have just broke my fast with humus, focaccia, tomatoes. Then banana and whole peanut butter! I have never enjoyed food as much as I did then 🤣

HIIT ✔️
15k steps ✔️ (been for a walk)

Both done fasted just with with the coffee (I was ready to eat though)

I saw this weight in June but haven't seen below it yet so the plan is to see 10st 4 next week!

I have started to cut out seed oils and reduce anything processed! That has really helped with snacking! Checking in here a couple of times a day really helps and having a holiday countdown too

You are doing so well and you are always consistent with checking in 🥰

@Smartmove same as you, I seem to have stopped at 10.11. My head tells me even 2 pounds a month would be great but I still feel disappointed. Got to look at the bigger picture and I am much happier now than 6 months ago. Here’s to a good weekend all of you

food stopped at 6pm so will fast till 10….
I had 900 cals of fab food but ate 4 bicsuits

then I wonder why I don’t loose weight!
did 15000 steps at least.

fast till 10 - coffee and almonds
avacado salad
extra king HIT session
dinner is curry and drinks. Will tell DH to remind me pudding is a bad idea!

@Smartmove I read that if you avoid the bread at the beginning of the meal you are more likely to avoid dessert. I haven't tried that theory yet 🤣

I was really hungry last night but didn't fancy anything in particular. I was fasting si battled on but woke up hungry and super tired. Had my coffee now so will last for a few hours hopefully!

I plan on eating 11-7 and within reason enjoy my choices today! Probably
L - scrambled eggs and tomatoes on toast
T - ginger beef stir fry
S - banana and cashew smoothie

I randomly feel like I might head down the 'f*ck it's the weekend' route! So checking in!

Been a tough day with an emotional DS which started at 5am!

Fasted till 12
Eggs and tomatoes on toast
Focaccia, cheese, avocado, pesto
Small plate of slow cooked beef

I feel like I am forcing my mind to fancy something so I can salvage the day!

That something is all the chocolate!

Going to walk round the pub to meet BF for a bit then have a nice bath!

How did you get on fighting your cravings @jelly79 ? Are you still generally having treats and if so what kind of things are you enjoying?

I had a takeaway last night and another rum. I feel fine about that as we often will either eat out or have a takeaway and it's not something I'm prepared to give up.

Earlier in the day I had a cheese roll so don't feel like I've gone mad.

Will weigh shortly and see what the damage is - plenty water today should help.

Morning all. I didn’t weigh this am but obv will have shot up. We shared a bottle of Prosecco and I had half a naan. It was delicious my curry. Don’t feel one bit bad :)

I am sadly hugely craving carbs today though! Just had some toast with almond butter to try damage limit and hope I don’t eat lots of crap later! Will do a HIT and am sipping my water x

hoping tmrw I’ll be back at 10.10 and can take the week to get to 10.9 for friday.

i have to really focus though for that right now I’m dreaming of more toast!

Your curry meal and bubbles sound lovely @Smartmove and I'm glad you enjoyed it guilt free.

I was the same as yesterday today 10:7:7 - I'm happy with that.

Going to have a workout and get lots of water in today, but as it's still the weekend there is still time for a beer / treats.

Aim for the week will be water, exercise and get to 10:6 by Friday - there isn't anything that should get in my way once today is done.

I had a star bar and chocolate ice cream and loved it! 🤣

Weighed in at 10s 3.4 which blew my mind! I'm expecting that to increase over the week as I'm not sure why that happened!

Fasted till 12 today and I've had a banana

Going home to put steak on the bbq with lots of veg!

@hollyblueivy the last couple of weeks I have been loving banana and peanut butter. Or apples with cheese. I've had to stop chocolate as I will graze it often throughout the day

today was a write off. Back on plan tmrw and done some marinating and preparing so I have a very good week. I have one social event next Friday but I realise the day after I really struggle to get back on plan. It’s only 4 weeks till my holiday!!!!! I need to loose a few more pounds!

Gosh I’m 10.12 today so up 2 from weekend.
apart from night out on sat I’m going to keep and stay on plan at the weekend as this up and down is driving me mad!

i can do this. 10.10 hopefully tmrw of wed. Then wed/Thursday to loose a pound??? Drinking gallons of water too of course. Feeling focussed for this week and impressed with @hollyblueivy and @jelly79 amszing progress!

@jelly79 That's great progress. Your consistency is paying off.

@Smartmove I don't think your increase is too bad considering you had curry and wine on the weekend. Agree it can get frustrating when you put all the effort in during the week and then it's undone over the weekend. It's always been my downfall, but life is for living so it's a hard balance to strike.

I'm 10:8:1 today - had a couple of beers at the pub yesterday. Food was egg and avocado toast twice. Did wonder whether I shouldn't have bothered with the beers. But I did enjoy them and they rounded off a fairly uneventful weekend so not going to lose sleep over it.

Line drawn and now down to business of losing 2lb by Friday.

Aims will be:

Workout every day Mon-Fri
3 x pints water / squash in the day
Food - only lunch and dinner
No snacks or just fruit / veg / salad to snack on
Won't cut carbs out but mindful of them this week and keep them light where possible

That should do it! I really want the loss this week.
