I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

Good Day today! Well everything was healthy but I can’t be certain on calories as I made a veg curry for family and had it without rice but hard to calorie it up.
i had
chicken soup for lunch
2 cappacinos
mango
veg curry

carbs def too high but Cals prob 1000. Report tmrw am.

Hope you had a good holiday and only 4lb on is a massive win.

I've had tuna pasta lunch and lasagne dinner with a few wedges and loads of veg (unfortunately oven roasted in oil!)

Had ice cream and strawberries for pudding.

Also had some cookie and snacks during the day.

Wow that's a bad day now I've just written it all down.

Did an hour workout on the plus side.

Decent day today

Fasted 5pm - 11am
B - scrambled egg on seeded toast
T - cottage pie and brocolli
S - MCT / protein coffee
3 lotus biscuits / 2 lolly-ices

I have fasted since 4pm tonight so I am hungry now but resisted a second tea and I am in bed with my teeth brushed so no extra snacks!

HIIT ✔️
8k steps! I'm too hot to go walking in the day! Need to up!

@jelly79 sounds like a good day - did you wake up hungry this morning?

@Smartmove keep going and be patient- easier said than done! Have you been drinking water and getting some fibre to keep regular?

I was 10:8:4 today so have today and tomorrow to try to get to 10:7 by Friday - if I stay low carb I may be able to do it but honestly if it takes until next Friday I can deal with that.

Caramel latte for breakfast
Omelette planned for lunch with side salad
Chicken and veg for dinner and will boil the veg rather than cook in oil this time

Plenty of water today and hope to get a workout in after work.

@hollyblueivy I was ok this morning and lasted till 11:30am
Done a weights class at 6:30 and then a walk!

I've had banana and PB on toast, MCT coffee and 3 lotus biscuits

I'll either have leftover cottage pie / pork and salad for tea and fast from 6! Need to keep busy tonight!

Weighed in at 10s 5.8 so I'd be happy for that to be the case on Friday

I got hungry and quite frankly ate about 300 cals. What’s wrong with me!!!! Toast solero and 2 digestives. Head not in the zone…..often find after going off plan takes me time to get back in
any advice????? I’m so sick of being 10.10!!!!!!!!!!!

@Smartmove I wonder if you're trying to go too low with your calories so almost setting yourself up for failure.

Could you try allowing yourself more calories but using them on foods that are less calorie dense like fruit, veg and salad to bill your meals or snack on.

Also are you getting a decent amount of protein as I find that really helps fill me up and keep me full.

I'm 10:7:5 today which I'm absolutely chuffed with.

Had a good day yesterday with omelette as planned and dinner was chicken cooking in a random mix of chilli, garlic, ginger, onion chopped tomatoes and mixed in some light soft cheese at the end. It was tasty and I have some leftover for lunch today. Very light carb day yesterday and probably 2.5l water.

Also had a workout and steps were over 8k.

Lunch today is leftovers
Dinner will be chicken -maybe curry but if too hot might just do chicken and sweet potato.

Loads of water again as that seems to really help.

im 10.13 today by some miracle. I didn’t drink enough yest as was running around and yes agree not enough fruit and veg. Will focus on that today.

About 1000 cals today but can’t be sure as had work meeting and ate a lot of strawberries and olives to stop me having the cake!!! But I didn’t have the cake!

Sounds like you had a good day yesterday so hope you manage to see a bit more off today.

I never thought this day would come but I'm actually 10:6:8 today. I wasn't expecting it as had curry, rice naan and poppadom for dinner. Not a massive portion but enough to think I'd see an increase on the scales.

I did have loads of water yesterday and have done some form of exercise every day Mon-Thurs. no alcohol.

Friday is here though and I have a social this weekend, but life is going to happen right. So I'll carry on doing what I'm doing and hoping the good in the week outweighs the bad on the weekend.

Looks like 10:6 is the aim for next Friday.

im 10.11.8 today. Was hoping to be back at 10.10 tmrw so I can start loosing again but not sure that’s going to happen. I will try! I have friends over tmrw too so I won’t loose but I’m not drinking all weekend as last week was very heavy and I need a break!

You've made great progress this week and will be back to losing again in no time. Your plan to not drink alcohol this weekend should definitely help as the drink often helps us make the bad food choices too. Keep going, next week you could be into loss territory. You've done well considering the holidays / time away from home too!

I do feel really good at this weight to be honest and size 12 clothes are fitting well. I may move to maintenance soon but happy just ticking away trying to get a smidge more off if I can.

I think the exercise has really helped recently. More so with my mindset.

I’ve basically lost a pound since 21st June when I was 10.11!!!!
not very good! But have had uk based and abroad holiday in that time I suppose?! Still not very good
but….next 2 months I have only 1 social event a week no drinking this weekend and hopefully get the scales moving again!

10.11 today ….got friends over today going to stay strong and not have alcohol (don’t really feel like it tbh i had so much last week). Will sip away on some nice iced water!
also going to get back into HIT today. Hope to be 10.10 by Monday. Then start dropping!

Don't worry I'm not going anywhere, even when maintaining I'll be checking in daily to avoid slipping back into old habits. What gets measured gets managed!

If you hadn't been following this thread you probably would have put on since May and have even further to go so I think that's still progress over the summer.

I had soup yesterday with some chicken for lunch (absolute madness in this weather but enjoyed it!)
Dinner was takeaway but not a massive portion.

Loads of water. No alcohol and a workout. Steps 10.5k.

Weighed at 10:6:4 - pleased with that going into the weekend. There will be a decent jump by Monday but I'll have all week to sort it.

Social today and pub likely tomorrow. Want to enjoy myself but also if we do get a holiday booked, mindful that will only be next month so need to keep it balanced.

Baking in the garden already!

Survived today! I had pizza and a small bit of ice cream but only 1 glass of processo. I did a good HIT class too and ate sensibly before . If I could do this every weekend would be great! I’m not expecting a loss tmrw but a mini gain /STS.

no plans tmrw so back on track!

@Smartmove I hear you about the plateau! I felt like I dropped and have stagnated over the summer! Buy @hollyblueivy is right that could of easily be +7 for me over the summer!

I weighed Friday at 10s6.4 which was a bit annoying as I had been in the 10s 5s all week!

Decent weekend! Non intentional long fasts! Less snacking than normal! Burger and icecream yesterday though!

Big walk and a roast today but will weigh in this morning!

Need to see 10st5 next Friday! I really want to feel great for holiday! Clothes fit better but I am not happy naked 🤣
