I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

day 1
weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

I was at a festival this weekend so my food and drinking has been terrible!! Today I am very hungover so I am eating all the carbs. Will weigh in tomorrow and then be back on it. I have my big holiday mid august so would like to be as close to 10 stone as possible for that but certainly under 10.7. 🤞🤞🤞

Grilled chicken

all good except the
Toast and almond butter
huge bowl of daal
some of my hubbys stir fried noodles
2 celebrations

ahh!!!!!! Thinking it was an ease into day…hopefully tmrw no extra !

It's so easy to have good meals and intentions and then make other choices.

I fasted till 12

L prawns, brocolli and pea stir fry
S 2 choc biscuits and little choc bar
T duck wrap
S 6 square aero

My meals are punctuated with chocolate

Might have a cup of tea soon then fast!

You're checking in though @Smartmove and perhaps your choices would have been worse if you hadn't.

I've had a carby day

Fish finger sandwich
Small slice of pasta thing
Lasagne with two small potatoes and veg
Choc pot

I did do a two mile run but steps still only at 6.5k - tempted to walk round the shops to get it to at least 8k.

Few coffees but only one pint squash so need more water tomorrow.

Got a feeling I'll weigh heavier tomorrow.

I’m actually going to be on plan today
I ate 4 slices on toast last night was so hungry and I did zero steps. I’m quite disturbed by my gain in 5 days (6 including yesterday).
so today there r no excuses! Will take DD to park to get steps in too
I hope I’m back to 10.10.5 by Sunday but I’m not sure :(

How many pounds do you have to lose to get back to 10:10:5? Hopefully the first couple will drop off if you're drinking lots of water.

I was 10:9:9 this morning which I think is three gains in a row, albeit small ones but wrong direction and wanted to be 10:8 by Thursday.

That's 2lb in 2 days to get off and unlikely I think.

I'll lay off the carbs today to see what that does and try to drink more water.

Not bloody easy this weight loss lark is it?!!

@hollyblueivy im embarrassed to say!!! I seem to have gained 7 pounds while away !!! And I’m stressed it’s going to take ages to get off I didn’t loose anything overnight which is also a worry!
im currently drinking my water and feeling annoyed!!

its though that’s for sure :(

Don't be silly, it's so easy to put on, although unfortunately it doesn't quite work the other way around. It will definitely level off in a few days and you'll just have a couple or a few pounds left to really get rid of.

We have all been there and is is so easily done.

Possibly the toast later in the day stopped the loss today. But draw a line and go again. Perhaps allow a few more calories than you usually would to stop you being so hungry you end up eating more. Fill up on protein and don't forget your fibre!

Thanks @hollyblueivy my head is on it today! So much of this journey is in the mind and once I get into holiday mode I struggle to get out. Let’s hope I’m out!
so far 10000 steps and 200 cals eaten
hoping for a 900 cal day as not feeling hungry after my toast binge!

I did a three mile run yesterday and steps ended around 10k. Had omelette for lunch and chicken rice and salad for dinner. Only small portion rice so generally a low carb day. Oh and some ice cream!

I was 10:8:8 this morning. I wanted to get to 10:8 tomorrow which is possible depending on how I get on today.

I've already had some weetabix as think I could do with the fibre and felt a bit hungry. Lunch will be leftover dinner from yesterday and dinner will be something light / low carb.

I’m up 2.5 from my festival weekend which could be worse. Felt so tired the last two days I’ve not been dieting but back on it today, eggs for brunch, steak for dinner.

Festivals sure do take it out of you, there's definitely a few days of recovery needed. Hope you hand a fun time and 2.5 is no damage at all considering!

Bet you it doesn't! It won't be fat! It will be water and you can be back to where you were in 2 weeks I'm sure 😘

I weighed this morning and was 10.7 so expected worse than that! Feel like I am making some better choices but lacking motivation! Work isn't helping at the moment.

@hollyblueivy i hope ur at ur mini goal next week! I’m going to catch u up! And setting myself 10.8 which was my original goal when started this thread - by 21st august. Which means loosing holiday bloat very quickly then dropping one pound a week. However I don’t think 10.8 is where I want to end up but will evaluate when they’re (on 21st august!)

I've had a big leftovers plate for lunch and just had the most random tomato soup for dinner which I added cheese, lettuce, toasted pitta and some chicken! I was hungry and ended up having some chocolate after.

If I'm not at 10:8 tomorrow I shouldn't be too far off and will try for 10:7 by next Thursday. It is getting harder to lose though I think. I'd like to go to around 10:3:5 but I'll see how the weight loss goes.

@hollyblueivy yes I’m finding once I get to below 10.13 I loose very very slowly. I’m also thinking 10.3 may be my goal which puts my bmi at 23 and should hopefully feel ok there but at this rate I’ll be doing it till this time next year!!!!!

so that’s 5 off in 2 days. Was def water weight. Gosh! Anyways another 2.5 to get back to where I was. Reckon that will take a few days to get off rather than overnight but I shall try. Another 900 cal day for me

Great result for a couple of days back on it @Smartmove

I was 10:8:8 again today which is not much of a drop from my 10:9 last Thursday. I think I'll still aim for 10:7 by next Thursday so roughly 2lb off in a week.

I just need to stay balanced on the weekend but we all know that's easier said than done!
