I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

day 1
weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

10:8:6 nearly pound on from yesterday.

Not sure why, could be white pitta at lunch and sweet potato with dinner and not much fibre.

I'll have an apple once I fell hungry today to get some fibre in.

Not sure on lunch today, may do omelette.

Dinner likely to be chilli and rice but will keep rice portion small and bulk chilli out with plenty of veg/salad.

Aim to run today just 2 miles.

10.10.5 today.

not sure I’ll drop 0.5 for tmrw. But if I do will have bmi 24 spot on which will feel good .

@hollyblueivy u had an upset tummy one day didn’t u? It’s prob just coz u ate normally/low yest vs nothing the day before? Or maybe hormonal or bunged up. Either way ur doing fab

It’s very hard day before holdiay to not think
oh sack it off! Using all my strength to keep on plan!!!
so far had yoghurt and low carb granola
poke bowl (no rice but spinach instead)
so much sparkling water !
dinner is sebass and mushrooms
will be 950 and 40g carbs

Feel really full up. Think I had too big a dinner.

Fruit and yogurt
Weetabix and milk
Mince and red lentil chilli on a bed of spinach

Probably put too much chilli on the plate and I ate it all.

Will see what scales are doing in the morning.

Only 4k steps today.

Struggled today.
on 1300 managed 900 of food rest was icecream and choc!
wont be 10.10 tmrw but will deal with it when back!

That's it. Holiday mode now, enjoy yourself and we will still be here plugging away when you're back. To be honest I feel like I'm due a bit of a blow out this weekend so we may end up at a similar point!

I just can't be consistent all the time. It's boring!

10:8:8 for me today, slight increase on yesterday.

Still feel bloated from dinner last night.

Plan today will be to try to keep foods light and not overeat.

Thursday is my formal weigh in so should be able to get in at or under the goal of 10:9 I set two weeks ago.

Depending on what I weigh tomorrow I'll set a goal for the following week of probably just a pound off to take the pressure off a bit and allow for some treats at the weekend.

10.10.8 today as had some late night toast and nuts
I’m going to try minimise damage but will except a gain and come back and focus to goal in august
I should get 3 off in august even with the social events I have planned if I only take one day a week off

13k steps just walking today

Hoping I don't see a third gain in a row tomorrow as don't feel like I'm doing too badly although having a carby dinner tonight may not help.

I’ve lost two of my three pound gain this morning. Eaten well but have also had 300 cals of chocolate so I would say 1200. No alcohol since Saturday though which is good.

I have forced myself to track on MFP and to check in with you guys.
You know when you are just not doing the right things and need a good old head wobble!

Cals 1300
B - toast and jam
L - yoghurt
T - burger
Minimal protein / hardly any steps / half a HIIT work out!

I need to weigh tomorrow and face the music and get back in the game!

Sorry I haven't replied to your updates I will check in properly.

Whilst that was my actual goal today I am a bit fuming about it as feel like I've been so good this week. Two meals only most days, no chocolate or treats, not a drop of alcohol and I went as low as 10:7:7 during this week and it's gone back up again.

Anyway, rant over. Line drawn on this week and I'll start fresh for the next week.

Just 1 lb off for next week to get to 10:8 to take the pressure off a bit and allow for a mini weekend blow out.

The second half of the day will be some chilli and veg. Another 5k steps and a HIIT 🙏

I was 2 pounds down this morning which was great, not sure that it’s true weight loss but it cheered me up!
lost the 3 pounds I put on over the weekend and I’m now 1 pound down this week. This makes it 8.5 pounds in nearly 4 weeks which is fairly slow but still noticeable.

@jelly79 Sounds like you're eating and moving right, is the weight the hangover from the weekend? Could you need a little more fibre to help the bloat and are you getting enough water to flush everything through? Keep going, your doing great.

@Chunkymonkey123 You're weight loss over that period of time is fab I think! Still a decent weekly average and all going in the right direction. I can't remember your starting weight and goal?

I started at 12:3:5 and was 10:8:1 this morning. Goal is to try to get to 10:3:5 so a total of two stone but it's taken nearly a year!

Aim is 10:8 by next Thursday but will keep it there even though I'm pretty much there already as expect a spike over the weekend.

I don't mean drink hangover just the weight hanging around from the weekend.

I know you didn't drink - well done!

I managed an alcohol free weekend last weekend and it made ALL the difference. Thursday to Thursday worked out at 2.5lb loss.

Won't happen this weekend as I fully intend to enjoy a drink. Might stick to spirits rather than wine or beer though.

Had a pretty straightforward day yesterday although have eaten a lot of pasta the last few days so will ease off the carbs next week.

Steps have been high all week so want to keep that going.

Morning everyone! Well done to those who have lost!!
I’m dreading the scales tmrw. Started with good intentions but by day 2 was eating all the Croissants at brekkie and drinking all the wine at dinner! The hot weather limited my steps too
anyways I’m predicting a 4/5 pound gain which will take me the week to get rid of SIGH so hopefully by day back to 10.11 for Saturday…..
and then I will spend august getting to be 10.7 so a pound a week which really have no excuses for achieving (10.7 is 1 below my original goal when I started this thread but suspect 10.3 is where I want to be)

Morning,

10:9:7 for me today, so if I wan to be 10:8 by Thursday I have broadly 2lb to get off this week.

Had some treats / alcohol over the weekend but didn't go mental.

@Smartmove How was Madrid? The gain was worth it I expect. What's your plan for this week, keep everything low with plenty of protein/water?

@jelly79 and @Chunkymonkey123 How did your weekend go, what's your plan and weight loss goals for this week?

I want to keep my steps up so walking / running a bit every day.

Well given the gain this am I’m expecting it to take me all week to get back to 10.10.5 which is what I was when I left! However I’m hoping some of it is the whole pizza takeaway I had yest water weight!!!!

im going to try do 900 cals all week so it’s off quickly . I have friends over on sat for tea but I’m not going to drink when they over and not planning on drinking for a fortnight (am out in 2 weeks - that’s my next social event) so that should help. I don’t drink much unless I’m out so think I should stick to that easily.

@jelly79 keep posting don’t loose ur way! I have a few times but posting and seeing everyone progress has helped me back in game (I’ve realised I’ve not lost much in 5 weeks though !)
hoping to change that and really focus this month

I've had a few weeks of busy! Weekend away for a wedding last week and my DD 21st this weekend! I have remained alcohol free and food choices have been better than previous but the lack of routine and constant grazing have meant I'm static! And worse, just generally lacking motivation!

I need to plan and head in the the summer holidays with more enthusiasm to lose the next 4lbs! That will give me my stone!

I am off today so planning getting outdoors quite a bit

Hope you are all progressing well x
