I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

day 1
weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

Oh no!!!

Planned my meal tonight. Fish and fish! Then ordered a side of bread and a chocolate fondant!! DOH!

Felt really lethargic and sickly this morning!

Dragged myself up for a HIIT!

Plan today is to fast till 12, lots of water and 15k steps

Unsure about food but will keep carbs low and protein high!

10.8 this morning so I have 2 days before my Friday weigh to make a difference to that! My head just isn't screwed on this week!

@jelly79 been there!!!! It’s hard after reaching a goal …then having a weekend off it’s exactly what happened to me after my hen! I’ve roamed around being good then going off the rails..then good again. Main thing we still hear and we will do it !!

im still not 10.11!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I need to up my fibre but also lower my carbs. Maybe tmrw as 10.12 today.
plan eggs and spinach
calamari avacado salad
chicken curry cauliflower rice

i ended up eating a snack at 830 last night not sure I can fast till long enough today as I usually have a diff hours I eat (9-5)

@jelly79 Great work still going for the workout despite not feeling it. I usually only do cardio and my body is aching so bad from the weights I did two days ago. Think I need to use them more regularly.

@Smartmove It's so hard getting that balance isn't it between life going on and wanting to enjoy weekends but also not feeling like your gaining and losing the same pounds over and over.

I'm 10:10:8 today which is 0.04lb down from yesterday.

Hoping I can do enough today to get the 10:10 tomorrow so plan is

Coffee / squash
Strawberry crunch cereal
Egg salad
Chilli and salad with a small amount of rice

Not really a fasting day as I've already had my
Cereal as felt hungry. It's better that I just eat as otherwise it's all I can think about.

Oh and I'll try to take a steady run later.

Ending on 1200 and 75g carbs (oops I’m usually in 30s) but did a HIT and was starving and had 2 sourdough with almond butter which pushed both up!!! Ahh! I won’t be 10.11 tmrw I loose very slowly if I only calorie restrict

Stuck to food plan today but that pesky bottle of red still had some wine in it so had to have a small glass with dinner.

Fancy something sweet now but will try to resist.

No exercise. I'm so lazy!!!!!

@Chunkymonkey123 first week always the easiest. Keep at it! It will come off . If u look at mine I could loose 7 in a week! And now I’ve not lost a pound in last 2 weeks (though I’ve had days off on that!!)

Thanks @hollyblueivy and @Smartmove I will keep at it. I have 13.5 pounds to lose in total to get back to fit in all my holiday clothes etc so 8 pound more to go. I was 10 stone in January but was 10.13.5 two weeks ago, I’ve no real idea what has happened this year as I’ve been trying to eat healthy and avoid UPF but I must have been eating more than need as my weight has crept up and up.

Hi @Chunkymonkey123 it's so easily done it sneaks up on you and then bang it's all you can think of and want it gone! You are doing so well!

HIIT ✔️ 12k steps ✔️
1160 calories
90g protein
Probably not enough water

B - skipped and fasted till 12 which was tough today
L - Tinned sardines on toast
D - lamb steak, whole grain rice and sweetcorn
S - 2 chocolate hob nobs, protein yoghurt with extra protein powder (I do not recommend) and blueberries

I’ve just clocked calories at 1400 and don’t seem to have fasted right no of hours either
what am I up to! And this weekend is a huge celebratory weekend with family
over drinks pizza the works!!!!!

Can you limit the weekend indulgences to specific meals and try to make adjustments so it's not the whole weekend?

Write down your plan for the next 2 days and make them really great before you go in to the weekend

Finally 10.11 again

plan today - yoghurt strawberries walnuts
calamaria avacado salad.
sit through work meeting and don’t look at all the free food
chicken curry when I get in left from yest
sit through take away when my sister in law arrives and don’t eat any !!! (She is arriving at 8pm and I can’t wait to eat till then and she knows I’m doing IF and told her I’ll come off plan tmrw!)

willl be a hard day to navigate

@jelly79 You're smashing this week. Should have a good loss I would have thought. How do you get motivated to do both hiit and so many steps?

@Smartmove What @jelly79 says is great advice and I think that podcast I recommended may help too. It talks about going into free fall and over eating when actually, the first or second slice of pizza would have done, wouldn't have messed with the calorie deficit as much and you feel more in control without the feelings of guilt and failure afterwards. I found it really useful and hoping to take a bit of control back on the weekends.

I didn't get the 10:10 I was aiming for today but was 10:10:6 which I think is my lowest weight so far. Pleased with that and will set a goal of 10:9 by next Thursday so going for a loss of 1.6lb over the week.

Blimey that's a long one today!

Had a check this morning and I am 10s 6.6 so if I am determined for a good day and a good weigh in tomorrow

Didn't exercise this morning I snuggled in with DS! I I'll walk and drink all the water today!
