I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

day 1
weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

It's a few things working for me at the moment!

IF is stopping me from snacking of an evening and keeping a lid on the weekends (I've never done it before!) I am not thinking about controlling food as much, more so times now. I am not depriving myself so then not having mini gorges!

Alcohol free is reduction in extra calories but everything that goes with it and as a product I am moving much more

back on tmrw just planning my meals. Dreading weigh in tmrw. Hoping will take 3 days to get back to 10.11

Hope you've had a great time of, night away like that are few and far between for me these days. No doubt a truck loads of fruit and veg over next couple of days will sort you out.

I've not exercised today - 7k steps. Need to get back into it although I know I've been saying that every day.

Food has been
Latte
Few coffees
Quite a lot of water
Chicken and cheese omelette
Chicken and chorizo roll with cheese and mayo

Feels like it's been a good day as not had any sweet treats and no alcohol although Friday.
See what scales say in the morning.

Oooh what chocolate did you have?

I had a great day yesterday 🤔

Started off well by waiting till 11:45 to eat! And had a green smoothie, prawns and chicken to get the protein in!

I was out all day and wasn't sure what the food plans were! Ended up eating out and had a chicken burger with salad! THEN! Shared an amazing dessert (waffles ice cream brownie biscoff sauce!) then later on bought 2 chocolate bars!!!

Stuck to soda water all day!

30 minute weights
12k steps (big hilly walk)

Writing this down helps as it puts it to bed and today is a new day!

I have no energy this morning though!

@hollyblueivy ive not been away from the kids in 5 years! So was a real treat and think I prob knackered my liver knowing it’s prob another 5 to do anything like that again.

so the damage is

@jelly79 i had a chocoloney bar not the small one though the huge huge one. I luckily didn’t eat it all but I had a lot. Feeling a bit hungover still and actually just want toast!

@Smartmove Will be interesting to watch that 5 come off, and hopefully quickly.

I was 10:10:6 this morning which is -0.04lb.

A good start to the weekend but that will spike today and tomorrow just hope by not too much.

I've broken my fasting window already though as was hungry this minting. Had yogurt with one weetabix and strawberries. Was tasty.

Likely to be out most of the day and think im doing bar curry tonight, so no doubt naan bread and all the rest but will try to limit portion size.

Agree that posting on here and reflecting on the day, planning for the next is really helpful.

Today has already failed with the consumption of 2 slices of toast and a huge slice of cheesecake i found. I’m too tired and hungover.
will have to restart tmrw. Agh!

@hollyblueivy ill have gained another pound tmrw rather than lost anything. Really hope tmrw I’m back on wagon and things don’t start going skew wif! Just no energy to focus on it today

Will be another day not strictly dieting but will keep alcohol limited if I have any at all and will make sure I have dinner at home rather than eating out.

Don't want to be too much of a gain tomorrow then spend the week chasing the loss.

Closing at 980 and 20g carbs and 30 min HIT class which I burnt 220 sup (prob 180 if being conservative).

I have stuck to 16:8 this weekend but the 8 hours haven't been particularly healthy!

I decided against tea tonight because I felt a bit sickly so started my fast early and now I'm bloody starving!

@Smartmove Well done for getting back on track today and having a good plan of action for tomorrow.

@jelly79 I tend to do 16:8 with 12-8 usually as my eating window. The only thing is that I drink coffee during fasting hours with milk so it's not strictly a fast. I'm thinking about ditching the milk unless in my eating window so it's classed as a proper fast. (But don't really like black coffee)

I need to sort my shit out this week with fitness so I am going to commit to getting 10k steps every day Monday to Sunday.

@hollyblueivy I ditched the coffees and that's helped (never thought I would but no sugar cravings in the afternoon) having 1 coffee with milk around lunchtime

You can do 10k steps. It's a great goal to set! You have got this x

I eat 10-5 usually so do 17 hour fast but have coffee with a splash of almond milk which is 2 cals so I’m thinking that can’t be doing a huge damage to my fast?? But some purist wil say it’s not a true fast but people online seem to say under 5 cals won’t have huge impact. What do u guys thinks I could have black coffee but I prefer not to! I usually have it at 730am and have had 3 by 10am and then stop with the coffee.

I can't see it making a difference? Enjoy your coffees! I stopped mine because I was having way too much caffeine and I just fell in to fasting then

EURGH! I have added 2.5 to the scales 🤦‍♀️ need to reset now! So will Calorie count, lower carbs a little and move more this week!

Will do 10-6 today I think

I seem to keep having a day or 2 of plan so suppose I’m doing 5 days of 1000 and 2 days of a lot more? Though this week I only have one dinner out so one day off plan

lost 2 overnight. Another 4 to go to get back to where I was last wed! Agh!

I just checked I put in 10mls of Almond milk and it’s 1.3 cals. I’m gonna take that as being ok!

I'm 10:13:4 today so plus about 1.5lb on yesterday. Compared to last Monday I'm about half a pound down so not as bad as last weekend but could and probably should have been better.

Thinking about going alcohol free this week and weekend to try to break the over indulge cycle. I'll see how the week goes.

Good luck with your plans to get these few pounds off. We go again!
