10st 2.2. Run out door to a class having had hummus for brekkie as it was ready.

MistySkiesAreGone · 25/03/2023 09:32

Today is hummus, creamy green smoothie and pork steaks. Yoghurt snack. Wierdly this comes in at 1,000 calories, it's the pork loin steaks. 75g carb. May cut some oil from the recipe.

Can I ask do you include free veg in your counting? I've been putting literally everything in, otherwise I will forget to eat them, so I have been counting them. I might put them in to remind me to eat them, but put the quantity at zero.

MistySkiesAreGone · 25/03/2023 09:35

If I exclude greens then it's 928 cals and 62g carb. Not been counting this way so bit nervous to change it. But I did a strength class that burned 130 cals (felt like 500...) so I'll go with it.

xraydelta · 25/03/2023 09:37

Morning 👋🏻

I must do some walking today. I spent yesterday on the sofa feeling sorry for myself and drinking wine

I have no idea what I will attempt to make one handed today, but online purchases must include an electric salt and pepper mill...

Tailrunner · 25/03/2023 09:41

Morning, I had a sneaky weigh in a day early today and have lost another 2.8lb so far this week taking me to 12.6lbs altogether and under 14 stone - it's always exciting getting into a new stone bracket. Aiming for a stone lost by the end of next week. My plan for today is scrambled egg with smoked salmon, broccoli and blue cheese soup and chicken dhansakish. I'm going to fit a run in too.

@MistySkiesAreGone hope you enjoyed your class. I might have a go at the hummus for lunches next week - your meal plans sound lovely.

@TooExtraImmatureCheddar congratulations on fitting into your Zara jeans! Sure you'll be rocking the Topshop jeans in no time. I don't think I've ever owned anything from Zara as I've always felt too big to shop there. I've been a size 14/16 or bigger since high school and can't even imagine wearing a size 12.

@xraydelta fingers crossed your mean scales are back under 11st today. Have you managed to plan some one-handed meals (that your dog won't steal) for the weekend?

Tailrunner · 25/03/2023 09:44

@xraydelta - cross posted, sorry. Can you buy some pre-chopped veg and chicken strips etc so there is minimal cutting?? Enjoy your walk.

xraydelta · 25/03/2023 09:51

@Tailrunner I have Ocado coming tomorrow morning with lots of useful things-and pre cut stuff. The M&S ready meals Addidas recommended weren't in stock there to get an earlier delivery. When I've got them and my shakes delivery (and an electric salt pepper mill!) I'm thinking all will be great 😁😁😁

Or certainly, significantly easier! 😆

I was just under 11 stone again this morning, but I'm thinking I could be a very dehydrated from the medicinal red wine I had yesterday 🙈 I'll see what tomorrow is.

Anewagain · 25/03/2023 10:13

Fantastic @Tailrunner - we’ll done on your loss! I’m hoping to fit in a run today too.

Glad you’re back under @xraydelta and hope you’ll find the same tomorrow.

I’m probably not a great help @MistySkiesAreGone. I add everything including vegetables but very approximately so my count will be out on most days. So far I’ve just gone for a general feel of what the calories would be and that’s been enough… that may change the more I lose.

Saturdays are hard for me to stay focused. DH persuaded me to have a pain au chocolat for breakfast but I took a large bite and stopped there. It was nice but not worth eating it all. We have a week until going away and I’d really like to see a loss by the end of the week. I know I’m likely to go all in if I veer too far off plan and especially as we’re meeting up with friends this afternoon. Shakshuka for lunch and pulled pork & veg for dinner.

Not sure to say if I failed or won!
bur I’ve closed kitchen at 1142 and 35g carbs fail . But I didn’t have the brownie I kept staring at all day and I’m not having the red wine my husband is about to open…

instead I’m going to do a 30 min hit class which usually burns 200 cals

I really struggle doing 800 cals

tbh 100 of my cals today are from green veg which I know mm says not to count…

Anewagain · 25/03/2023 18:13

Sounds good to me @Addidas. I survived an afternoon with friends also avoiding snacks and wine and am looking forward to dinner now.

Great progress @Tailrunner . Well done on avoiding temptation @Anewagain . Well done @Addidas . Hope it's not too difficult a day @xraydelta .

Closed on 940 cals, including all the veg, 72g carb, or 850 cals and 60g carb excluding veg. I think the free veg was introduced as they realised people were not getting enough fibre on the diet. Be interesting to see what the scales say as I don't tend to lose on my period.

I thoroughly enjoyed the class today, it was body conditioning.

Here's my dinner, who says a fast needs to look like a fast?!

MistySkiesAreGone · 25/03/2023 19:43

Tomorrow is veg soup, avocado on rye with turkey, prawn korma with cauli rice. Leg, bums and tums at 10.

Tailrunner · 25/03/2023 20:20

I've had something odd happen today. I have a mirena coil and haven't had a period in over 3 years but started today. Weirdly I tried this woe 3 years ago and the same thing happened. No idea why??? Has this happened to anyone else?

I've had a good day apart from that although I didn't get out for a run. Got caught up helping DC with homework so I'll go tomorrow instead.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 25/03/2023 20:53

@Tailrunner, I had a very late period this month and the same thing happened last year when I was on a pre-holiday diet (not Fast 800). I have read that fat can hold hormones and when you lose weight the hormones are released - don’t know if that’s at all true, though!

@Addidas, you close your kitchen so early! I would be starving by 7pm if I’d eaten before 5. Well done for avoiding the brownie and wine.

I’ve been painting my hall and stairs all afternoon - that ought to count as exercise as I am knackered now! Dinner was a slightly disappointing orange and ginger chicken from the Fast 800 Keto book - loads of water came out of the chicken when I stir-fried it, which messed up the sauce. I had halloumi fries on the side, and they were yummy. Lunch was the keto crepe with avocado, bacon and cherry tomatoes and it was delicious. Think that came to approx 850 cals. I’ve had lots of milky tea but I refuse to count milk in tea —because it would mean much smaller meals—.

MistySkiesAreGone · 26/03/2023 00:01

I wonder if that accounts for my PMT!

I've entered my meals into an app for next week in advance. I've also booked
Sun - spin and legs bums tums
Mon - rest
Tues - swim
Weds - trampoline
Thurs - circuits and spin
Fri - spin
Sat - rest (going clothes shopping if it is a good week)

I'll also go into the office Mon-Weds which will involve some walking.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 26/03/2023 09:08

Oooh, @MistySkiesAreGone, what kind of trampoline do you do? Rebounding or trampolining gymnastics? I’ve been learning trampolining for 6 years and I love it.

xraydelta · 26/03/2023 11:05

Morning all ☀️

Thank you for all the good wishes.

I am going to supervise the teens in how to make a roast dinner today. I'll just have some beef and green vegetables and perhaps a little gravy 😁

I hope everyone has a good day. I am missing exercise 😔

MistySkiesAreGone · 26/03/2023 11:27

@TooExtraImmatureCheddar Fitness Rebounder. I'd love to do adult trampoline, I did it as a teen and loved it.

Was worried the two classes back to back would be too much but actually was okay. Economical as gets it all in. I've had a post workout glass of milk.

I'm 10.02 today, no idea where 2 lbs went but eat all the veg I say and don't count it, it seems to be working!

MistySkiesAreGone · 26/03/2023 11:28

@xraydelta supervising roast sounds lovely. I really feel for you, it's frustrating being injured. Can you get more walking in?

xraydelta · 26/03/2023 11:44

Even walking jars it 😔 But I am going to try again later and take the dog!

Addidas · 26/03/2023 14:28

@TooExtraImmatureCheddar i know I close at 5pm. And then eat at 9am the next day it works for me strangely but is unsociable and means I eat 2 dinner when I’m going out as I’m starving at 430!!! And can’t last till 730 which is normal meal time

ive decided not to weigh myself for a week and just stick to plan . I’m hoping secretly on Friday I’ll be 11 stone or under

MistySkiesAreGone · 26/03/2023 19:09

Closed at 860 cals. Less than I expected as I was a bit rushed making brekkie so didn't have as much avocado. And used less coconut oil in the prawn curry.

The prawn korma was okay. A bit bland. I liked cauliflower rice. I'd probably make it again - I'll have to as I have 3 more portions of rice and sauce - but a bit more heat would be nice.

I trekked to Asda on a special trip to find VeeTee rice pots, they are mini rice portions for one, in Asda online they had brown rice ones, but could I find them in store, nope. I'll have to order online. I thought they would be great for the transition phase as less wastage than the big packets.

Tomorrow is prepped - creamy green smoothie, tapenade and sausage and greens. It doesn't seem a lot but sausage really takes up the calories. I've also added a three egg white omelette for the protein.

Inulin powder arrived. I thought it might help on days when fibre intake needs a push. Will see how it goes.

I have multiple temptations to avoid tomorrow- going past about 6 Prets on way to office. I think I may take a different route. Same on way back. I'm taking half my dinner in case I need to work late. Just going to take Fast800 one day at a time.

Wednesday is also gonna become a tough one as I have a training day.

Feeling a bit peckish, unsurpisingly considering the exercise. Having herbal teas until bedtime.

MistySkiesAreGone · 27/03/2023 07:33

9st 12.6 this AM. At least 4lb of recent loss is water.

Quite sore from yesterdays classes, could hardly bend over to move the scales!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 27/03/2023 08:30

Well done, @MistySkiesAreGone! That’s great progress.

0.2lbs down after an exemplary weekend, sigh. 11.2.4. I really could not have been gooder. Maybe that will set me up for a good week. I’m away on a long girls’ weekend from Thurs, so was hoping to make it under 11, but that doesn’t seem likely. If I can be in the 11.1 range by Thurs I will be happy!

MistySkiesAreGone · 27/03/2023 08:30

I'm so stiff from yesterday's activity, walking in heels to work is going to be slow. I may take the bus, and count walking to the bus as exercise. I need to buy some trainers I can walk to work in.
