Finally allowed myself to work out my weight in lbs. Eek! Ideally need to lose almost 10kg on top of 3.2kg already gone. Will have to think of it 3.2kg chunks or it will be overwhelming. 😟
I know I’m making positive steps, I acknowledge that I was in a bad place over winter and was NOT mentally ready to lose weight but it is SUCH an arse.
Before lockdown 1 I was the slimmest I’d ever been in my life & so happy. Doubt I’ll get there again, (it’d be another 3kg to lose) but aim to get close enough to wear at least some of the clothes

xraydelta · 23/03/2023 11:38

Morning everyone 👋🏻

Thank you so much for the good wishes and the brilliant ideas! I have ordered some fast 800 shakes (20% off today with the code Easter20 if anyone else needs any!)

@Addidas I have added those M&S meals to my Ocado shop. Thank you so much! 😊

Today I have had the jam porridge for brunch as it was on my mind, and I am defrosting some cooked chicken to stir fry with some ready prepared veg for later.

That will be roughly 705 calories so perhaps I can have a babybel as well later...

Hope everyone is having a good day!

MistySkiesAreGone · 23/03/2023 12:49

Wow you are on it @xraydelta , v inspiring.

@VenusInfers V annoying but do everything that worked last time and have a fool proof maintenance plan!

It could all go terribly wrong, but I am aware I need to be careful as I'm not doing any exercise.

Addidas · 23/03/2023 14:02

Well done @xraydelta i bet u will loose weight as u loose a bit of muscle. Interesting to see what happens….

my af has arrived and I feel like eating cake but I won’t. Prob be on 988 and 22g carbs

in excited for my porridge tmrw - i have yoghurt or eggs and looking fwd for a change!

Addidas · 23/03/2023 15:48

I’m going to end up on 1140 and 30g carbs today as my salmon salad didn’t fill me!
I was down again today hoping I’ll be back to 11.1ish by end of week

xraydelta · 23/03/2023 17:11

The sodding dog has eaten the beautiful cooked organic chicken I was going to eat tonight in stir fry.

Ffs. I just need a break!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 23/03/2023 21:50

Shock oh no, @xraydelta! You’re not having the best week. What did you have instead?

Anewagain · 24/03/2023 07:07

Hope you were able to find something else @xraydelta. What a week for you!

I feel like I need some fresh recipes so will look to try the peanut butter porridge this weekend too.

I think tmrw I will be back to 11.1.5 which is where I was previously stuck before I had my 8 days off plan. Today is
eggs salmon
chicken and avacado
Portabello mushroom pizzas (I love these!)
will be 920 and 10g carbs

xraydelta · 24/03/2023 08:36

I had omelette instead last night with veg and feta. If anyone else needs to know this, it's rather hard with one hand to chop up red pepper, or break eggs for that matter 🙈 It was all a bit haphazard. The cherry tomatoes had to just go in whole, as did the olives. I just couldn't cut them.

Today, I am going to attempt pizza courgette for lunch and defrost some tofu to have with my pre cut up stir fry veg.

I am so pissed off at the dog. She won't touch the tofu of course 😆 I can leave that on the side without a second thought.

Weight is just a smidge under 11 stone today, which is very unfair really, considering.

I do hope every likes the porridge. I weigh it all out and then microwave it. I've had it with fresh blueberries as well as raspberries and it's lovely. I think it will feature a lot in my future as it feels like comfort food, which I really need right now 😊

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 24/03/2023 08:54

11.2.6 this morning - creeping closer! After my two takeaways weekend it has taken me all week to get back to where I was and then drop 1lb. But progress!

@xraydelta, well done on sneaking under the dreaded 11 again! Even if the way it has happened is highly frustrating.

Addidas · 24/03/2023 09:17

@TooExtraImmatureCheddar thats my weight this am too. It’s annoying how one day off takes so long! I think after my 8 days off will be 6-7 days before I’m back to where I was

@xraydelta your under 11!!!! This is great. I hope I’ll join u next week

xraydelta · 24/03/2023 09:39

Forget that. I stepped on the scales again to record it on my app, and I was over 11 stone again 😔

I have no motivation today 😔

Anewagain · 24/03/2023 13:20

You must be very close @xraydelta if your scales have tipped one way and then the other. I like to imagine my scales do that to encourage me I’m very nearly there when mine do the same.

Well done @TooExtraImmatureCheddar on that hard earned drop back down. I’ve bounced up a 1lb since my take away and it feels like it’s taking ages to drop down again. The take away totally wasn’t worth it. If only I can remember that next time I’m tempted.

Addidas · 24/03/2023 13:32

@xraydelta i agree with @Anewagain it means prob tmrw it will be. Fingers crossed

@Anewagain i know I always think that too. But at the time always seems like a good idea?!

hope we all have quiet weekends. I’ve not got anything big planned so I have no excuse and must remain on plan!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 24/03/2023 15:09

I only go on my first weight of the morning because a cup of tea can put me up half a pound. I don’t weigh myself later in the day very often and when I do it’s always depressing!

Non scales victory: am wearing a pair of Zara size 12 jeans that have always been too small but I forgot to return them in time. They fit properly now! I’ve had them nearly 2 years and never been able to wear them before.

Anewagain · 24/03/2023 16:32

Amazing @TooExtraImmatureCheddar - that’s a fantastic non scale victory!

I just got handed back my motivation for keeping going as we go into the weekend. My GP surgery requested a blood pressure reading and mine is a bit high. I’m not sure what that means but I expect continuing to lose weight and eat healthily can only help. I was rushing about just before the reading and so I’m also hoping it’s high because of that? - so I’ll take it again after the weekend just in case.

Addidas · 24/03/2023 16:49

@Anewagain i have a pit of Zara jeans looking at me too. They used to fit me when I was 10.10 where I was briefly 2 years ago but feel so tight atm

I’ve closed at 950 and 12g carbs

Addidas · 24/03/2023 16:49

Sorry that was @TooExtraImmatureCheddar

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 24/03/2023 17:51

@Addidas, my ultimate jeans goals are two pairs of Topshop jeans from approx 2018. Also size 12 but a much smaller 12 even than the Zara ones!

MistySkiesAreGone · 24/03/2023 18:41

It sounds like a lot of us are hovering around a 1 stone barrier.

Damage from the event was - extra rice at lunch, panic bought a nut protein bar on the way. I caved and had half a ham sandwich, maybe 5 Celebrations, some shortbread and large handfuls of crisps. When I got home I ate tomorrows breakfast of bacon and eggs.

I didn't weight this AM out of shame 🤣. I have however THANK GOODNESS come on my period as predicted. An extra bacon sandwich was consumed this morning.

Other than that I've had a protein shake, and then instead of caving to pizza I have gone back to the plan and I made the hummus- very nice and easy/tasty, another good one for a quick lunch. Tonight is cod. I think there is also prawn curry and pork steaks on the menu. I have two exercise classes booked this weekend. I will go but may do a lighter version!

I think I will quickly do the meal plan and food list for next week now, and have a look ahead at the following week.

MistySkiesAreGone · 24/03/2023 18:42

I mean prawn curry and pork steaks this weekend, not tonight!

Addidas · 24/03/2023 19:52

Had some dark choc taking me to 1000 . really need to get these cals down….

Addidas · 25/03/2023 07:05

11.2.5 today
it’s slowing down again! Must behave today!
