Shiny new thread for the BSD'ers. Best thing you can do is first read the MM bsd book do you get a full grasp of what the rules are but in a nutshell:
800 calories a day
No bread/pasta/potatoes/rice
No processed food, no alcohol
As close to no sugar you can get
Full fat, no low fat
Protein to keep you full
2-3 litres of water a day
10,000 steps a day (work your way up)
HIIT if you can 2-3 times a week

Darn it - snaffled 2 mini sausage rolls but resisted a 3rd so that's something?? Drinking glasses of water, up to 5 already, aiming for 10 in total. Can't go out as I'm working & also waiting for a delivery (they just expect you to wait all day!) It's going to be a loonnngggg day....
Hurrah bear! Nice one getting rid of the weekend bloat. It's such a pain having to battle with it every week😕 Hoping mine will be gone by tomorrow but not if I keep eating sausage rolls!

Me again (too many hours with only kids to talk to) I'm at 900 cals and it's been a bit of a nibbly day. I ate my dinner early as was tempted to snack so thought it wise. But it's now a long time til tomorrow. I'll persevere though, when it gets to 7 I can accept the kitchens closed. Now to distract myself for a couple of hours Hmm

Mmm, sausage rolls sound nice...I had a Mediterranean chicken salad from Tesco for lunch and am going to have jollof chicken for dinner. I wouldn't usually have chicken twice in the one day but I have some I need to use up and at least they both taste completely different.
This is my first day recovered from the bug so will be interesting to see what the scales say tomorrow.

Never heard of pro-b helping cravings, sorry can't comment. I'm no use on cravings today at all, I've caved today a few times. The main point of this plan is if you stick to it, it will reduce cravings drastically due to reducing sugar/processed stuff dramatically.
But that's probably no help to you right now 😕

Oh yeah & sausage rolls weren't nearly as nice as they should have been. Food inhaled has v little enjoyment factor. And then they sent me down a carb cruise mission. Darnit

Sounds expensive keep😉 The only probiotics I used before in day to day was the yoghurt drinks but they're full of sugar so defeated the purpose. Just inhaled another bag of crisps

Not2b I was just prowling the kitchen looking for crisps. We only have ready salted pringles (boo!) so after 2 I gave up.

note to self:only buy rubbish flavoured crisps then less likely to eat them

And now I ate a bar of chocolate & a scoop of ice cream. Oh for feck sake!!!! I'm like a woman possessed. I want to go to bed but I can't til the kids go asleep as they just lie all over me yack yack yacking. I love love love them but I need some space after a day stuck inside (and no, the f'ing delivery didn't arrive😡)

I think my crisp craving came from needing more salt. I just have to remember to buy some salted nuts tomorrow. Menu for tomorrow is salad for lunch then curry for dinner.

i need to accept that I can't graze or pick, that's what kicked me off. Making a snacks/lunch for the children exposed me to food I don't allow myself and once I had a taste, it kicked me off. And being stuck indoors meant I was able to prowl.
Water helps a lot I find, slug a glass back when cravings hit and get busy. We'll do better today gang!

Managed to stay the same weight as yesterday, phew! 45 min jog done, close to my 10,000 steps. Going to aim to fast until lunch...plenty of water will be needed

I have discovered that chewing a sun-dried tomato (dried not ones in oil) is delicious and helps keep snack cravings at bay. Try it if you fancy crisps/nuts/pringles whatever!

Not a fan of sundried tom's - love the sun blush ones dripping in oil my deli sells (at about the same price as gold it feels) but I'm guessing that defies the purpose.
Haven't broken my fast yet but nor have I drank enough water so wins & loses here. Feel ok so far but it's still early Shock

I remember Dr Phil (I know I know but in my defence I was on mat leave & clearly not in my right mind) said that he used to munch on all manner of rubbish when he'd get home. So he changed his path, I don't mean in a high & meaningful way, I mean he avoided the kitchen or chewed gum while in the kitchen. Bikkie & extra spearmint do not make a great combo😉
Had a slight sway, had to collect various things on way home from work and as the kids were with me and starving, we went kfc but I only used 400 cals, that's not the worst. Kicking back for an hour before prep for dinner guest starts (aka clean this kip)

I thought I posted but its not here, SF chewing gum has helped me sometimes but other times the craving wins through. MM also mentions chewing minty sugarfree gum for sweet cravings in the book. Chromium and Q10 vit supplements are supposed to help too, not tried them though.

I am not eating well at the mo so weight crept up a lottle and I feel like crap! Stuff has happened in my wider family this week last week so I think I might be an emotional eater.

Not2b we nearly succumbed to KFC today as we were shopping nearby. I managed to resist but then bought a bar of lindt salted caramel. It was amazing and was just the right amount - not too sickly or heavy.

Hard day here as well.
I feel very run down with a cold and sore throat....
Day 10 here and ate 1040 cals (according to mfp). Kept the carbs at 47g but I was doing so well regarding the calories.
Ohhh well...tomorrow is another day I suppose...

I'm not even a kfc fan, I thought it was the lesser of all the evils, I do like the sound of salted caramel Lindt...yummm
Not, around 1000 is still very good. I count a day as a success from 800-1100 and I've just bought & fitted into my 4th pair of size 10 jeans since starting in mid Feb at a size 12-14 and I was more 14. You're doing great, get better as your priority

Well done on your multiple pairs of size 10s Not2b

notso just focus on getting better. Your carb count was great and I have often found that has more impact than cals.

Hi all. Weigh in was ok, back to 11.0.8, the 10's are still eluding me. But seedy after too much wine last night but was v good on the food (of course not eating much did make the drink hit me harder) So far today despite doing my best, I'm already at 800 cals but as its Friday I'm meant to be in tdee which is around 1600-1800 when I've had no exercise. Anyone else about?
