Very nice grace, while I don't have any pics of McDonald's wrappers (thankfully!) I have swerved a bit but not too badly, I'll be within tdee which some days is the best I can do.

not2beI am reading the book of supersize me, it's called do not eat this book. Its very informative, more in depth of the sciencey stuff than the movie.
Had a good day today, weighed in at slimming world this afternoon, and I'm down to 11.7, which means I've lost 1stone 9lb in total on this plan. 2 pounds to my mini target (I want to weigh what I did on my wedding day on my anniversary in 2 weeks!) - feeling good. A lot of people are starting to notice now! I am going to quit slimming world as I'm not actually following the plan anyway, but I do like the social side of it, I've been going to the same group for years. I just sit quietly when they talk about Muller light yoghurt!

yumyumpoppycat · 08/06/2016 19:17

Just call me yumyumspookycat aplaceonthecouch ;) apparently we need more calories at totm www.livestrong.com/article/295115-calories-burned-while-on-your-period/ conversely just after is when carb cravings are lowest so good time to be strict with diet.

Star well done newaverage!!

Grace your food looks awesome and not even like it is low calories but it is!

H3l3naGraham · 08/06/2016 19:18

Very tasty Grace - you could post those on the MM BSD site too!

Well done Bear - you'll get to that 2lbs easily & will be able to celebrate your anniversary with a smile inside your heart!

Muller Light, I used to eat those once upon a time.... Not now, no way!!

GraceGildee · 08/06/2016 19:23

I didn't want to clog up this excellent informative thread with endless photos but I am posting everything I eat on this thread with photos and chat if anyone wants to have a look.

APlaceOnTheCouch · 08/06/2016 19:44

I made chicken and red pepper curry from the BSD site tonight and it was amazing. Very filling and tasty.

Bear 1st9lbs is brilliant. No wonder people are noticing a difference!

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2016 21:07

What an evening of running around! Exhausted now and still have to get the kiddos to bed. I need to do a lot better tomorrow, my planning was off and it showed in my food diary. I won't be contributing to your thread today grace, although I am lurking with pleasure, and awe at how good people are eating. I've gotten quite boring in my food - looking forward to getting inspired😉
Time to close the kitchen, just a pity my house is open plan so it's a figurative close rather than actual!

Elvish · 09/06/2016 07:07

Well I'm finally back down to my lowest weight on this plan (and for many years!) - just in time for another big night out tonight!

Going to try to be restrained tonight, eat on plan and stick to G&Ts and not get giddy. No idea if that will work Grin

Hope everyone has a good day, enjoy all your festivities H3 and don't worry about being a little off your goal, just focus on how far you have come and enjoy Wine

Not2bObvious · 09/06/2016 07:49

Well done elvish! I'm not due my official weigh in until tomorrow but I'm up 3 pounds since last Friday, which I hope to see 1-2 gone by tomorrow if I stay on track today. If I get away with that I'll be happy enough as it was 4 days of eating/drinking - has to show somewhere. My night out tomorrow has been cancelled so that gives me a shot at a better week, my week starts on Friday. I'd like to say I won't drink this weekend but who am I kidding - but I won't drink too much, last weekend was baaad. Have a great night out 😉

Morning all, how's everyone today? I've got a child free day (woohoo!) so I'm going to do a mammoth clean of this pigsty we call our house (I know that to some people this sounds like a chore, but to me its probably my most enjoyable activity and I went and bought new cloths and bleach yesterday just for it....yes, I am a loser). So should work off a few calories doing that! Then this afternoon a big cook-off and freeze of some meals while I have peace to concentrate on the calorie counts, and maybe some reading in the sun if there's time.
I'm feeling very buoyant and motivated at the moment, full of beans, which is nice. I think its because I feel so healthy on this plan. Have a great day everyone!

H3l3naGraham · 09/06/2016 09:25

Hi all, off up to London shortly, will be fine today, but tomorrow with Her Majesty Wink will be a bit more of an issue, fizz & canapes look out, here I come!!!

Enjoy your day bear - you are not a loser, I get motivated, once I start. About twice a year when I try to do a full, top-to-tail of the house. Attempt is missing from there somewhere!

Great news Elvish - it's a wonderful feeling isn't it! Smile

Good luck not2b - no cancellations here, but your desire to make the most of it & use it sensibly speaks volumes, fingers crossed for you!

APlaceOnTheCouch · 09/06/2016 09:40

H3l3na say 'hi' to the Queen for us all Wink

Elvish well done on getting down to your lowest weight. I'm sure a few G&Ts won't impact - enjoy!

bear you can clean my house next if you want? We have incredibly high ceilings and even on the top of a ladder with a long feather duster, I still can't reach the cobwebs. I fear we will end up over-ran with spiders although evading them would be good exercise Grin

lookingforhope · 09/06/2016 11:16

Helena have a great day today. I believe champagne is quite low carb Wink

Elvish fab weight loss, well done!

Grace am loving your thread though not posting as my meals are uninspiring at the moment (basically tuna salad, soup, crudites) but when I am less busy in July I will be joining in. For now it is just an inspiration 😃

Place chicken and red pepper curry sounds yum, will look for that. And Bear you are welcome to come and clean my house if you want to burn some more calories Grin

Lost another pound so down to 10.8 now. Though my ideal weight for height is under 9stone Blush.

Have a good day everyone x

Not2bObvious · 09/06/2016 13:15

Afternoon all. H3l have a fab time, remember one doesn't guzzle or stuff ones face😉 One sips & nibbled daintily😁 Still haven't broken my fast, have eggs boiling away for my lunch. Another lovely day here but have to keep an eye on the emails/phone so can't relax for another few hours. Watching TV and pretending I can't hear the kids arguing - safer for everyone's sanity! Burger in a bowl planned for tea with lashings of water will not touch Friday's bottle of sav b oh no

APlaceOnTheCouch · 09/06/2016 13:31

Forgive me fellow BSDers for I have eaten a Snickers. Blush

I think my willpower is shot just now because I'm so blooming tired from being at the hospital with my DSIS.This is my first day back in the office and I gave in to temptation. I didn't even really enjoy it so that was a waste of calories, carbs and sugar!

A nice goats cheese salad tonight will hopefully put me back on track.

Looking how tall are you? under 9 stone sounds very low. Well done on reaching 10.8! I don't think I'll get there until the autumn.

Not2bObvious · 09/06/2016 13:45

Oh well at least there's peanuts in there place, hope your sis is ok. Sweet things are a go to when tired & low, it's behind you now. My lowest healthy bmi weight is 8 stone - people would hold mirrors over my face if I were that light, I'd look like a corpse 😱 I read a thread the other day where people said what they considered an ok bmi - so many said 20-22, I just want 25! If I get to that I'll be ecstatic

OP posts:
APlaceOnTheCouch · 09/06/2016 14:11

Thanks Not2b. It's my niece who is ill but my DSIS' hand I have been holding iyswim My niece had surgery yesterday but it will probably be at least another week before they are sure there are no complications. It's been a horrible, horrible time.

I agree I'd be happy with a BMI of 25! I still have another 1.5 stones to lose before I get there.

mootime · 09/06/2016 14:20

Bear - Thats amazing. I think we originally started this at the same time and I am seriously cross with myself for not sticking ...
Elvish - well done! enjoy your night out.
H3 - Enjoy London. We have sun here finally so fingers crossed it stays for your fancy garden party ( was that what you were doing??)
Hope - I dream of being 10 stone something again... Well done for getting there.

I think I am going to have to remove nuts from the house. They are too moorish and I just grab a couple thinking " oh well, they are on plan" and then realise i have probably doubled by daily calorie intake one r the course of a day....

Just had cheesy beans on portobello for lunch and will try and keep away form the nuts to do damage control for the rest of the day.
I have managed to do 2 days of c25k this week which I am thrilled about.
Out for PTA meeting this eve so will stay away from the wine and maybe just let myself have a G&sT...

lookingforhope · 09/06/2016 14:44

I am 5'1" Place so my BMI is around 28 atm. My lowest recommended weight is under 7 stone which is crazy, I didn't weigh that little at 14 never mind 48!!!!

mootime · 09/06/2016 14:47

Not - I would also just love to get to a healthy BMI.
Place - Sorry to hear about your Neice.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 09/06/2016 15:36

mootime, yes I'm the same with nuts. I didn't even like them really before this, now I can't buy them especially in big bags. Also the total yogurt, I buy one tub a week and when it's gone that's it.
I've just been to Lidl as they have euro football stuff (£6.99 for a shorts and T-shirt 'kit' for little ones. Might not convince a teenager, but good enough for my 4yo!!) and to get their big tub of Greek yoghurt as it was mentioned on a thread on here as being the best.....ended up eating a goats cheese foccacia on the way home, and very nearly bought chocolate. It was like something just took over me! The foccacia was very nice and probably only a million calories and a weeks worth of carbs and I'm very glad I didn't succumb to the choc or I'd be feeling wretched now, but it just shows even though you think you're in the clear suddenly boom the carbs can strike when you least expect it! Stay safe out there ladies.....!!

Not2bObvious · 09/06/2016 16:12

If the only food available to me was goats cheese, I'd be a size 4! I saw those breads in lidl this morning and shuddered my way by them 😅
Starving. Must visual goats cheese 😉

I'm 5'1 too hope.

Not been able to post so much lately as it's been sooo busy at work. Stressed as usual but calmer so feeling a bit better.

So as of today according to bmi calc I am offically just in the normal range!! 9.6lbs. I still have a roll of tummy flab mind so think to get the visceral fat nailed I have a bit more to go. Aiming for just under 9. But it's good news and it means have lost 25lbs in total, 19 in 9 weeks on the BSD.
Am finding the no carbs/sugar much easier now - think it would seem alien BUT in 10 daysish am working away for nearly 2 weeks. There's veggy catering but not low carb so that will be difficult - at least the rice will be brown and I will take a few tings like yogurt, flax, berries and almond butter to make it easier.

Hope everyone's enjoying the weather, it's really great to read everyone's progress. The bumps in the road are all opportunities, and everyone seems really determined, which helps spur me on.

Loving the food piccies and meal ideas too btw.
Hope your niece is ok place..take care xx

Not2bObvious · 09/06/2016 17:12

Congrats oola, that's a really impressive achievement, you've really cracked it. I'm doing this nearly 4 months and still haven't hit those numbers jeez I wonder whose fault that isHmm
