@Onemoremakesthree I think news is due today. DD has now committed to the Dance World Cup so I think the dates will now be difficult for her.... but I must admit I’ve lost track a bit! Anyone heard of any further offers? Kylie did say on her email that everyone will be told either way today.

@Pollydollydimpledo when you say workshop, is that 'Kiss for Cinderella' or the general summer workshop?

We are too @Onemoremakesthree The last email we received was the one on Sunday saying DD was in consideration for the Cinderella Kiss W/Shop and on the reserve list and that they 'aimed' to let us know either way by the end of the month...

DD has had quite a week! She's been a minor celebrity at school, between congratulations in assembly and posts on their website and social media. For someone that tends to be quite reserved she's actually quite enjoyed the attention I think! 😆

So a small diversion.

One of the leaders of ds’s youth theatre has been dropping hints about their autumn show.

It was originally a film.
It will be the Midlands (I assume NODA geography) premiere.

My guess is Kinky Boots (the possibility of which is very exciting to Ds). Could be Bodyguard but it would be a very white version if so.

Any other guesses?

Actually youth theatre is inaccurate as they usually do 3 shows per year, one adults only, one kids up to age 21 and one mixed. This will be mixed.

Presume no news yet for those waiting to hear about workshop/reserve list?

To be truthful we are just trying to put it to the back of our minds and concentrate on everything else in the pipeline now. Assuming we won't hear anything now and if we do then it will be a nice wee surprise.

They've just tweeted that there are still places for tenors / basses in the stage choir for Hunchback if anyone wants another shot...
