@OublietteBravo it's so hard to exercise in conditions like that, well done for taking the opportunity when it came up.
I taught my class on Thursday, just two people (Local Festival Week andSummer holidays I guess). I completely blanked on the Capoeira track, after managing to teach it one time the previous Sunday. I just gave up and played a different track lol. After the class I could do the moves, I just got brainfry at the moment and well that's the way she goes sometimes. Fuckin way she goes.
Friday I had one woman in her late 60s with heart damage, can't exercise too hard or she'll go white and keel over. The only other was similar age, recently had back surgery! So I turned down the music a bit and we had a nice calm class. Woman #1 lasted 5 track, and I did one more track - the Capoeira. This time it went well enough and I got through it (it's not even that hard, there's just a knack to it).
Sunday we had one of my favourite participants turn up, she's an absolute cardio machine. She's always the fittest in the class by a clear mile, including me! Also had a visiting participant, on a week long pass so his son can hit the weights. He's 38ish, drives heavy machinery and hasn't really done much cardio in teh last 20 years. It went as well as you could expect - he was breathing out his ears by track 2 and somehow soldiered on to the end. I almost had him puking in the Thai track - those are usually the last track, where it just starts mental and stays mental for about 5 minutes. But somehow he made it to the end, by sheer grit and determination. Absolute champ lad.
97 days. Pretty optimistic to get to 150
