Thanks - it's a bit sore but tolerable. I don't think I'll be doing the epic endgame leg session I was due for today though!

Hope you’re ankle’s feeling better today @fishonabicycle. I completed day 34 endgame, full body pyramid session. I quite liked this format, required a lot of determination to get through the 40 sec set after the full minute. I usually go 5kg if CG >10kg and 3kg if less. As CG went 10kg, I started with 5kg and I was happy I didn’t need to lower part way through. Hopefully fit in day 35 tomorrow as working from home.

Did day 41 quads and calves. Really boring. I find the lower body workouts where she splits into calves and quads or hamstrings and glutes are repetitive and always the same exercises.

@SophieLion yes they are always the same exercises. I don’t mind leg days as I find them the ‘easiest’. Hate glute day though.
Yesterday I managed an advent dead bug abs and then a weighted glutes( without the weights). So basically minimal movement and I took it gently. It knocked me out though.
Today I will do an upper body but with lighter weights.

I much prefer glute day to quad day. But still glutes day is always hip thrusts, RDLs (which I love) and sumo deadlifts (which I can't stand). I find her lower body which cover all the lower body much more interesting.

Glad to hear you're slowly getting back into it. I remember the dead bugs one. It's a nice workout. Hope you enjoy the workout today

Day 35 endgame completed, only 3 more cardio to go 😀 I find Tabata hard work but at least the time goes quickly. I managed most of the high impact this time but still find my co-ordination lacking for alternating lunge jumps. 18 days to my holiday so might not complete it in time although only 1 more netball session this season helps (we got promoted at the weekend so need to be fitted than ever next season!)

@Forgotmypasswordsgain I won’t do lunge jumps- they really bugger my knees.
I managed to do a triceps, chest and shoulder workout and then a 20 mins bicep one.

I have just completed Day 2 of Beginner Epic. It was arms today and I struggled to complete most of the exercises… had to stop for a lot of breaks. I am not exactly fit but I do workout a lot the last couple of months eg Bodypump and have gained muscle definition during this time. I felt quite embarrassed that I found todays workout so hard especially as it is the Beginner programme! I will persevere but it was a bit of a shock

I quite like Tabata forgot mypassword because the work period is shorter. It is hard though. The dumbbell HIIT (day 40) was easier.

Did endgame day 42 today. Upper body. Found it a bit repetitive.

Today I am going to test out my lower body post covid function by going on a longer walk.
I will do a shoulder session later- not sure which one though.
I remember one from day 2 heat that was quite punishing.

Day 36 shoulders completed last night, enjoyed the slow and steady pace. Planning to squeeze in day 37 later and try to stick to the CG schedule now I’m done with netball.

Did 66% of day 43 glutes and hamstrings today. Had to stop as stuff came up but was quite pleased as it was really boring. Far too many sumo deadlift squats (which I really dislike) and my forearms started hurting from holding the weights for too long....

@SophieLion, I’m on the community fb thread as well, one seems plenty to fill my feed. Finished day 37 legs which was enjoyable challenging, can’t believe I’m now happy to do 2mins of lunges. My lower back seemed sore with the rdls and then the squat finisher, probably due to working from home all day. Roll on press-up day tomorrow, the 100 press-up finisher sounds brutal!

@SophieLion it’s the Caroline Girvan community one. The endless sycophantic comments, the obsession with her. One person saying they were dreaming about her, goddess, Queen etc. endless selfies, boasting about weights. I think it is really quite creepy.

Day 38 completed. Should have probably had a rest day as that’s 7 days straight with some kind of workout but I wanted to get back into the correct schedule of resting before the full body day. I might actually make my holiday deadline at this rate. Crazy busy at work as well but think dropping the exercise for work would probably leave me more stressed in the long run 🥵

@BigButtons, I was like that with COVID in January, I couldn’t imagine mustering up enough energy to exercise for about 2 weeks. Thankfully I had done enough CG to be in the habit as it was hard work starting up again. You just have to give yourself a rest and know your body will be waiting for you when you get your strength back x
