Have done day 21 (quads and calves) and day 22 push pull upper body! Really good workouts, and my core is achey today from yesterday's ab finisher.

I can definitely feel yesterday’s workout in the top half of my legs but pushed on to complete day 32 upper body. This went really quickly although I had a break half way to eat dinner and put my 5YO to bed. Enjoyed the short repeated sets which made me focus on improving form over the 6 sets. Netball training tomorrow before my last match of the season Saturday.

@Forgotmypasswordsgain in the last 2 weeks of endgame I hurt constantly. I was also pushing up the weights too.
On a lighter note I woke this morning without hurting and the temp seems to have gone.
Still can’t sit up for long unsupported but I am taking progress where ever I can!

I've done day 48 which is just a million pushups. Nearly finished!

Has CG made an announcements about next steps? I might do Heat if there's nothing else in the offing for a while.

@itsnotdeep, I think I saw CG said on a radio interview she would be bringing something new out in April. I didn’t hear it so not sure if any details. I think I like the sound of Heat next with the short workouts.

Hi All, another Newbie question if I may?! I'm doing Heat and moving around a bit depending on what I feel my body can take. I have a connective tissue disorder and I've just come off 8 yrs of prescription painkillers thanks to a year of physio...therefore I am keen to avoid a flare up as muscle tightness and subluxing is par of the course with that.

Anyway will I ever ever be able to do push-ups? Even against a wall is truly pathetic.

I can cope with the majority of an upper body workout (well obv lower weights 2.5/3.5/5 kg and partial dips but planks etc are strong which is fairly encouraging to me) then something like a push-up finisher makes me feel like an utter loser!

Any encouragement is welcome. I am too shy to post on the FB groups. Thanks so much!

We all start some where. I started last July. I can now do push ups on my toes but only about 10 at a time and certainly not 100! And certainly not when I have already done lots of lifting before hand. I could not do the push up day. I thought it was ridiculous quite frankly.
Keep doing them on the wall. When you feel that is too ‘easy’ find a slightly lower surface like the edge of the sofa. In time, if you are consistent with your training, you will get stronger. I promise.🙂

Oh and the fb groups? There are a hell of a lot of braggers on there. There are also some lovely normal people. Just ignore the braggers!

@BigButtons thanks so much, so before last year were you able to do any? I thought that my upper body wasn't too bad thanks to all my physio but, nope.

@Lelivre I used to be able to and then got into the habit of going to my knees so I never got stronger.
Remember it’s not a race. Turning up and trying is good enough🙂

I know- what IS that all about? And ones of them posing in itsy bitsy clothes blowing kisses and winking? It’s always the same people. I’m glad I have the sanity of this thread to come back to!

Day 33 endgame done and dusted. I didn’t even mind the 100 hip thrust finisher although probably just glad to have both feet on the floor after the 2 min 1 leg hip thrust sections which I found brutal. Looking forward to a rest day and glass of wine tomorrow 🙂

One leg hip thrusts are hellish!
And those FB posters all do about 4 workouts a day - between that and posing for photos, I have no idea how they manage to hold down a job, or do anything much else!

I can’t imagine being at full strength again. I know it will happen.
I also don’t get the sycophantic name calling either, goddess, queen etc. I wonder if it makes her feel uncomfortable? There are some right loonies out there.

Completely agree with everything you say in your post fishonabicycle!! They seem to do the main workout, the add on, a 10km run/walk, something else.....

How are you feeling bigbuttons?

I did day 38 today - the upper body with the 100 tricep push ups. My triceps are so weak (she was using 8kg - I used 4kg and dropped to 3!) so for the skull crusher push ups and the tricep ones, I just did what I could in the same time she did her 25 (I probably did about 3... and I was using my bench to elevate my top half) and then I did the cobra ones - actually managed the full 50 of those. Was so tough....

I am thinking about my pose! I will let you know if I do it. Did a beast mode full body today, and changed out the pushups. Good workout (4 sets of everything).

@fishonabicycle I was looking forward to doing beastmode. Hopefully will be back at it soon- with lower weights!
@SophieLion I am slowly getting better thank you. The most frustrating side effect now is sheer fatigue. I wake reasonably full of energy for a couple of hours but then have to lie down again for most of the day
I might try and have a short walk out side today though( it is easy for me to avoid people as I live semi rurally). The sun is shining and it is depressing looking at it through a window!

Thanks @fishonabicycle and @BigButtons I will keep going and look for any progress with the press-ups. I've come a long way with other things like planks so I'll have to just keep moving forward.

I do hope you soon feel as good as new @BigButtons
