I did a bicep add on yesterday.
My calves are still sore from Monday!
Glutes day today. I will not be doing any hip thrusts from a chair- no way.
Looking forward to a days rest from weights tomorrow 🙂

@stilllockeddownnowheretogo I loved heat.
Endgame isn’t much longer than heat and doesn’t feel long unlike epic 1. Endgame is not as cardio based as heat. With heat I felt I got a good cardio at the same time this time it’s all about the muscle burn.
Maybe give it a go?

Day 3 done, and quite enjoyed it. I am making modifications to somethings but am still definitely pushing myself.

I stupidly looked ahead to tomorrow, these makers look like good craic ShockBlush. And a full hour?! I'll have to be up at 5.30 to fit it in

A little achey today but not nearly as bad as last week so that's progress.

@BigButtons, thank you! I loved Heat as well.
Before Christmas I had started Epic III, but wasn't loving it (no real reason, just wasn't motivated and found the workouts dragged a bit).
Maybe I should try Endgame. Hmm. I might try week 1 and let you know how I get on!
@Nikki2302, good luck with the hour long session! Shock I couldn't face that I don't think Grin

Day 13- ouch- do-able and went quickly but my poor bloody hamstrings. I did it on the floor, no chair this time and that helped. CG really does like to hammer the hamstrings.
Can't believe the add on is an rdl session.Shock no thanks
I ducked out of the last hamstring trisets and did some glute bridges.
So my calves are still sore to the touch from monday and now my bum and hamstrings are toast. If I do an add on it will be tricep work- they need working on- so weak.
Thank god for a day off tomorrow!
I will have to do leg and hip stretches this evening for sure!

I actually quite liked it! I couldn't do the one-legged hamstring things at all, but had a go and definitely felt it in my hamstrings. Don't mind a sumo deadlift either.

I did a leg add on too and a few wall sits (trying to strengthen my quads).

Just did day 6 - lifted lower body! So hard on the knees - I used the 7.5kg handweights. I managed most of the 100 hamstring thrusts, but changed about 20 to glute thrusts. My triceps are sore from yesterday!

@fishonabicycle everything on my body hurts right now. My calves are sooo tender. I reckon it would be worth doing 100 calf raises once a week as clearly mine were a hell of a lot weaker than I thought for them to hurt this much days later!

I shall witter on for accountability. Did day 14. Was ok. I liked the tucked abs finisher.
Will do the add on tomorrow and then see what the dreaded cardio Sunday brings.
God I am getting so beefy😮😮- not sure how much I like it- but feel compelled to keep going because I know the good it is doing to my bone health. My mum had a hip replacement in the summer as her hip crumbled and has never done a day’s exercise in her live and I don’t want to be her in 30 years time.

Well done everyone, still watching from the sidelines during my COVID timeout (the whole family is down with it but hopefully we’ll be let out soon). Welcome @Nikki2302, I only started in September and have made major gains in strength over a short time. I did beginners twice as I ached so much after the first time and even though I only lift 3kg it really pays off quickly. I think I found beginners the hardest as my body wasn’t used to it. Looking forward to getting back to it soon when I skirk this bad cold!

The swan is excellent but difficult to get a table without booking.
The Blackhorse does good food
Lewes arms as well
Fuego lounge
Many people like Bill’s but I don’t rate the food
Blacksmith’s arms just outside the town( 2 minute drive) does great Sunday lunches and superb Jamaican cuisine.
Let me know where you went!

bloody hell- that's all I've got to say. Managed 5kg, and matched with her 4's for quite a while, then dropped to 3's. I swore quite a lot too!

My shoulders HURT( not bad pain). I found myself mumbling’it’a not funny, stop smiling’ at the tv many times. I also gave her the finger 😳😂

oh no! I'm still catching up from my Girvan-free weekend. I did the full body workout from Friday today. Plus a pretty intense yoga class at lunchtime. I think I'm seeing some improvement in my glutes.
