Might as well start a new thread. All welcome regardless of your goals, just keep moving. Everything counts towards your totals. It's amazing what you can accomplish in a year, how far you can go and all the things you see en route.

I'm loving reading the updates - especially the big ice creams and puppies!

Hoping to run half marathon distance this morning.

2021 running so far: 773km

Aiming for 1610km this year (1000 miles ish) but not on schedule after a twisted ankle injury.

6k walk, my feet hurt.

I’m still running. Not done so many really long ones lately but trying to run 10ks (rather than 5ks) more often at the moment to increase overall mileage. Hoping to hit 200km for this month.

1037km so far! I do find keeping track of my annual and monthly mileages hugely motivating🙂

Early bike ride in Misty drizzle today had to put my bike lights on and felt abit vulnerable on country lanes as hadn’t anticipated the mist. Had really good ride up a big hill until I crashed out near home rash graze on my leg and bruised hand plus my pride! Hoping it all settles down for our long ride next week.

We're in the West of Ireland this weekend so we did a 9km walk up the local mountain. Fabulous views across the coast and islands.

I've just been out for a 5k, got out the shower and husband had left me a cup of tea on the bench on his way out..perfect

Had a 3km walk with my dds yesterday but quite a quiet weekend exercise wise

Pool swim at lunchtime with tired limbs it felt like a lot of effort but got 50L done.

Local 9.4 km today - getting my feet used to walking sandals again for the year. DD is graduating in a couple of weeks time, there isn't anything for the parents except livestream of the ceremony but we're going to go and meet her for photos and a picnic afterwards. The lack of parking in the town and not wanting to use public transport means the most practical option is Shankes' pony from the hotel on the outskirts, and I may want to wear a skirt if it's hot.

Nipped out for a lunchtime seaswim dip and cycled down but hadn’t realised how sore my wrist was from falling off my bike Sunday. Struggled to use my brakes fully cycling down a hill really hope it doesn’t jeopardise my ride Sunday.

We were up early by our standards, had a gorgeous 9.4 km walk including some moorland with lots of skylarks.

Nipped out for lunchtime seaswim but gosh the beach is busy like a bank holiday weekend with full car parks not like a bog std Wednesday! Plus a 7k trail run tonight very humid.

The weather broke here today, rain and only ~13°

Same here, cycled to work but had a really bad day and it was tipping it down and I had the wrong clothes on so DH came to get me...

I've had some really good swims, 4k on Monday night then another couple of km yesterday and a whole lane to myself.

With the charity bike ride cancelled today, still nursing a sore wrist and heavy rain warning I ended up running my longest mixed trail run since March early this morning instead 7.5m only half of which I got drenched by the weather. Pleased with that even if wrist was really aching by the end fear it’s going to take quite a while to get better now.

A nice 9.8km walk, though it was a bit humid. And we got absolutely mobbed by horseflies in one area - the mild Boots insect repellent worked on me but DH had to liberally coat himself in Deep Woods off.

I’ve been running lots this week. 1115km so far, starting to live up to my new name😊

2k bike ride yesterday, not much but with DS who has a new bike and dyspraxia, we went from "Mummy I've stopped, can you change my gear for me" to "Mummy I've changed gear by myself"

Our hr sent us a reminder last week that any carried over days of holiday from last year expire at the end of this month. So yesterday was gardening, and today was the many-times postponed trip to some lovely gardens which are our old dog's favourite place on earth. I didn't set my walk app going as I was expecting it to be a slow amble once round but he loved the grass under his paws so we had a good stroll mostly at a nice little trot - with an occasional flop and pant in the shade (him, not us, honest). The step counter reckoned on a 5 km which is pretty good for a 15 yo dachshund who had disk surgery just about a year ago. I won't add that to my totals though.
