Anyone want to join an Octoberthon thread?

Run, swim, or do some other form of exercise every day during October and then post about it.

Inspired by the increasingly inaccurately named Juneathon thread

(Juneathon rules)

I'm not actually planning on exercising every day - I'll be having 1-2 rest days each week.

I finished off 30DS this evening (L3 D10). I'm also pretty much all the way through 6W6P (L2 D15), although I'll probably do one more session tomorrow evening.

I have lots of good intentions about tackling Ri30 when I get back from my holiday (probably interspersed with some other DVDs for a bit of variety). We'll see how that goes!

Have a great holiday, Harry, enjoy showing off your six pack!

hastily back tracks on plans for week day early morning runs

I did fit in one final session: Ri30 L1D1 & 6W6P L2D16.

Ri30 wasn't as bad as I'd remembered (although I think I might be remembering L2 rather than L1).

Just need to pack now (flight is Sunday morning) Grin

Wow, you are wearing those abs well! Have a lovely holiday.

I had my rest day yesterday after my 4km on Saturday morning. I'm just back from my run to and from boot camp. I was pleased with the running, the best section was nearly a minute faster per km than my worst run last week, so hopefully I'm beginning to get back into the swing of things.

Hope you're enjoying your holiday, Harry, and you're still plugging away, Whata.

3km this morning. It was tough after last night, but at least it's done!

Wow Harry, that's an inspiration! Been doing an hour of swimming gym or running a day since my last check in, haven't lost a pound but going to start being good about my eating now! I want those abs!

You're doing an hour every day, Whata? Well done. I ran to and from boot camp again tonight. I'm wrecked after it!

I'm trying - but not holding out much hope for tomorrow, already in agony from tonight's spin class. Wow, to and from boot camp, that's good going

Ive lost four pounds! I only weighed myself e few days ago (I know you shouldnt) and it's just dropped from nowhere, it's a way til I'm bwhere I'd like to be but I'm so pleased - and if it wasn't for you girls I wouldn't be sticking to the exercising. Thank you, I wish I'd started eating healthily at the beginning of this!

Well done! That's a great boost to keep you motivated.

How are you feeling today after your spinning? I'm sore after boot camp last night (lots of sumo squats with a bar bell). Hopefully a short run will ease things out later.

I'm actually fine today, went for a good walk earlier but may gym/go for a run later, now I'm feeling motivated! Ouch, boot camp sounds intense, there aren't any near me but went along to a taster session once, I seem to recall seizing up completely within about an hour of finishing so well done you for sticking with it

I've been going to this Bootcamp for a year now, and a different one for a year before that. I like it, he pushes really hard and it's never boring! Dh had to work late tonight so km not going to get out for my run, but I did half an hour if a Les Mills (?) Body pump thing on YouTube earlier. Not sure I get all the fanaticism about it...maybe you need to do it in a class...??

Enjoy your run/gym session!

Hello
I'm a bit late joining but there isn't much traffic on the Jillian thread so hope you folks will help keep me motivated for the rest of the month!
I try to do JM workouts 4-5 times a week. I try to do at least 40 min per day.
I lost my exercise mojo during August/Sept and have so far got back on the regular exercise wagon his month! Smile
BFBM today.

Welcome! You will be in great company when Harry gets back from her holiday, she's slaying Jillian.

I'm sitting in the car waiting for boot camp to start. I really don't want to go

Thanks Kanyes. Hope boot camp went well yesterday!
Kickbox Fastfix today but only 1 x 20min as had a lie in.

It went, although I'm not sure it went well! I'm sore after it though, so i must have done something Confused. I drank too much wine last night to be able to run this morning, so I've banned dh from lighting the fire until I go out for a run later. It's bloody Baltic here today, but at least it has stopped raining

I've just got back from a very grey and rainy holiday in Portugal. I'm aiming to get back to e recusing tomorrow evening (no food in the house, so have to go out for dinner tonight)...

Oh no, Harry, that's disappointing for your holiday, hope you had a nice time anyway. Enjoy your dinner out.

I had an enforced rest day today... I fell on my run last night and have two very bruised and swollen knees today. I was raging, it was the longest run I've managed in ages (6km) and i was actually feeling OK. I guess pride really does go before a fall... Hmm

Apologies for absence, am on an activity weekend and we've finally got wifi (the day we're leaving) anyway we will swim today but I can barely walk from doing a fitness class yesterday morning before a day of kayaking/swimming/cycling etc owwww I should add that I've been VERY naughty food wise but I've had a good excuse?

Right, I'm starting counting from the beginning again. Today I did Ri30 L1D1 and 6W6P L1D1.

I'm aiming to finish both Ri30 and 6W6P before Christmas. I think I might throw NMTZ or BFBM or KB&T into the mix too. I probably need to watch them all through first and decide which one I'd prefer.

Kickbox Fastfix today (2 x 20 min, workouts 1 & 2).
Welcome home from hols Harry and Whata. Hope you're knees are recovering Kanye.
The lighter mornings are helping me get up and motivated at the moment so making the most of it until proper winter arrives!

The darker evenings are not helping my motivation! Nevertheless today I did Ri30 L1D2 & 6W6P L2D1 (I've decided to alternate between the two levels this time around).

I can tell I'm not as fit as I was before my holiday - 6W6P L2 was hard going. I definitely need a shower...
