That's really miserable of beach body to stop the hybrid site. I would have thought it was good marketing for them? I hate the Bb coach idea. It's basically a pyramid scheme I think. Spooky that's an innovative solution with the random numbers!
I am the same as you. I love a schedule. I can't be trusted if I just decide myself. My DH is the same. He is starting marathon training and has had a lovely time working up a training plan.
Stone free - I'm with Sarah. Little and often is better for me, but doubles may work better for you? We all self sabotage so the best thing is to just pretend it didn't happen I found the same with the resistance bands. They were too easy for some exercises and much too hard for others.
Did cardio challenge today. (Non work day). I have learned that exercising 5mins after eating pasta and bolognese sauce is not good at all. I'm an idiot. Blush

Sooooo I accidentally did the harder tabatha workout today...for a while I was very concerned that I had been doing all the exercises incorrectly before, then thought I was a wuss for maxing out so soon then it slowly dawned on me I was doing the wrong workout .... blardy hell that is harcore! I had to modify a fair bit and even then I was seriously tempted to give up at 20 mins......how do they do that workout without water Shock

On a side note I didn't recognise Scott with his crew cut Grin (there is probably more funky modern hair terminology for that style now?)

How is everyone doing? How was your first week back at work Purple?

Welcome back Jem - good for you for starting at the beginning again. I am tempted to do that as I have had so many mini breaks from my hybrid schedule that I started with FullSteam that I think I need to start over (but then I have slight OCD I reckon, so I like things in an orderly fashion, rather than here and there).

Sorry Spooky and others that your website page has gone but I like the random generator idea!

Fullsteam am sorry to hear you are off for a while - a bit gutted tbh as you were my P90X/Insanity hybrid partner and I will miss you!

Stone I have fallen off the wagon over the last few weeks, mainly due to travel (both for chemo and for holidays) although I do try to take my work outs with me when I go, or I do a Barry's Bootcamp when I am in London pre treatment. In fact all my trousers are now too tight (and have been for about 2 weeks) so I had one last mini blow out last night with DH (lots of red wine, bread, cheese and salami - yum) and today I am new woman! I managed to do 2 workouts in 5 days in Malta which isn't too bad considering it was hols and hot as hell, but today I just did Month 2 Insanity work out PLUS the abs work out, and I feel AMAZING! Have not gone off The Zone yet today either, so am promising myself now no more excuses - I want to hit my target weight of 50kg by August 6th (I have a spreadsheet with all our goals on it if anyone wants reminding!) and that is less than 7 weeks away which at the moment is about a kilo a week (am guessing - I daren't weight myself after the mountain of cheese I ate last night).

So you saw it here - hold me to it - NO MORE CHEATING ON FOOD. The exercise thing is fine - I feel stronger again so it's just the bloody wine and carbs I need to kill.

Yumyum - lol re doing the harder workout by mistake. Bet you were gutted when you realised Grin!

Boobz - you look fab! I love that you have a spreadsheet of our goals! I have reached 200 workouts and I can't remember the rest of my goals but defo haven't lost any weight recently! Good luck with the diet crack down.

Did Gamma Extreme circuit today and Gamma Pyramid yesterday. Love t25 Gamma! Going to go back to the beginning and do it all over again with a run and a long walk (only 4 Gammas), starting next week.

Can't go for a run this morning so I am going to have a go at Insanity - wish me luck! After trying it a few times at the beginning of the year I went on to do t25 instead. DH says it is much harder and I remember it being high impact on my knees and back. Hoping I am stronger now. Plus I had pancakes and bacon for breakfast so I need to do something hardcore! Grin

It is definitely harder which I struggled to understand as the actual work out time was probably similar. I couldn't get used to the idea of taking breaks either! Do you take breaks Boobz? Anyway, I quite enjoyed it. I will maybe add an insanity workout into the mix on Saturdays when I have a bit more time. How does pure cardio compare to the other ones?

Sounds like you had a hard work out Sarah. I bet you feel great now! I did one of the mth 2 insanity work outs. Was harder than t25 but all the breaks and stretching made it on a par with max30 which, although it is shorter, is a bit more intense.
I did a 5m run today. It was my last before my 10k race next week. I managed to get home 5min before an absolutely torrential downpour too so that was good. Flaked out of yesterday's work out which was a bit crap. Am finding it hard to coordinate everything around dc naps. I guess I'll get better at this! Will do either tabata power or sweat intervals tomorrow depending on how i feel.

Evening all! Just quickly popping in before bed...

Pure Cardio is by far the worst of the month 1 insanities! Only done it a couple of times but omg. Think it's the only workout I've ever done that's properly made me feel like I might throw up (without being hungover Wink)! In my head I refer to it as a Pure Evil. IMO nothing in T25 comes close.

After the hybrid removal debacle I have been muddling on through with a made up combination of PiYo/HHA. spooky your ingenuousness re schedule producing made me Grin. Have done x4 so far this week and hopefully will fit a workout in tmrw to make x5.

Hi all!

Am still going with rocking bodies :) did the rock it workout this morning - was really hard! Apparently I should use weights - didn't have them handy so followed Tania who doesn't use them.

45 minutes of really hard work followed. My arms ache. Don't think I will be digging the weights out any time soon! Supposed to do it again this week... Might swop it with something else.

New treadmill is coming on Wednesday so will be adding runs to my workouts soon!

Ooh - now I'm tempted to try pure cardio just to see what it's like!

Good luck with the treadmill swampy. I'm not mentally tough enough for those. I get fed up after about 10mins but then can run for ages when I'm outside with the countryside to distract me.

Did sweat intervals today. That is a hard work out. I've just proved why I can't be trusted without a schedule. About 2 mins into sweat intervals I realised I had totally missed out 2 of last weeks work outs. Probably was subconscious as I missed out the hard ones! ????

Poppy - how are you getting on? I think from your last post you said you had done tabata strength by mistake? I find that one easier than tabata power as even tho there are no water breaks, I find the moves easier. I just cannot do the press up bits of tabata power.

Phew for all hybreeders!

I did Pure Cardio today, inspired by Sarah. You ask whether I take breaks Sarah - but there aren't any breaks in Pure Cardio (apart from the stretch, obvs). When it's intervals like Max Interval Ply or Interval Circuits then yes, I take the 30 second break when they all do... would die without them!

Argh I farked up the weekend eating again. I am useless the weekends! Back on track now!

Felt v energetic after work today so did tabata power when I got home. Omg. 1min of power jumps at the end always come as a horrible surprise. Shock

Jackster - I am glad you think pure cardio is hard, I thought it sounded an easier one and then I got a nasty shock!

Boobz - I meant when he encourages people to stop and have breaks. Do you do all that without stopping?! Of course you do! Respect!

Gamma rip't tonight. Rest day yesterday (but lots of packing/cleaning!). Gamma has definitely toned my arms up. But I have a horrible feeling I need to step up to insanity to shift some weight. Boo!

Yay for the hybrid schedules! And well done for checking, spooky (it hadn't occurred to me Blush). Back on the HHA/PiYo hybrid schedule, doing week 3 )with a bit of swapping around). HHA fat burning cardio yesterday (with surprisingly burning abs as a result today!) and PiYo sculpt today. Anyone else done that one? Is it killer on the arms or is it just me?! (And that's with modifying all the push ups - still struggled to do the whole push ups section! BlushBlush)

Gamma is fab Jackster! I really like it, apart from the burpee hell that is speed 3.0.

Re push-ups, I don't know what the Piyo ones are like but there is a wicked section of push-ups in Gamma Rip't. I modify since I realised I was meant to be getting my chest to the floor and I can almost always get chest to floor now. I find it hard to imagine ever being able to do full push-ups though, and certainly never oblique push-ups or push-up jacks ShockGrin!

I log piyo as pilates - calorie burn is very low though Confused

Day off today and race for life tomorrow so no workouts for a couple of days.
