Thanks folks, I knew you would understand :)

Halle - Hitchin have already been in touch with our club so have voted. Not sure where they are planning to do it but they have special parkrun permission to have a 4 lap course.

ScienceRocks · 14/11/2014 23:03

419.5miles is the new total after my 2.2miles this evening (interval speed type thing on the treadmill).

Well done feet!

standingonlego · 15/11/2014 11:35

4.5 miles this morning - surprised I am the guest one logging miles this morning, sure the parkrunners will be along soon!

Takes us to 424.0 miles

standingonlego · 15/11/2014 11:35

Guest? First Grin

Mitchy1nge · 15/11/2014 11:49

6.65

can't add to total, poor signal and need to learn how to use page view because it's a long scroll back up to the most recent post

ThursdayLast · 15/11/2014 11:59

Hello hello hello!
You're right lego I do have a parkrun to add to our total!
We all got caught it the heaviest rain/hail shower for the first 5minutes. It was so awful I couldn't see!

So with mitchys 6.65 + 3.1 = 433.7

cinnamongreyhound · 15/11/2014 12:33

Very foggy parkrun from me this morning 436.8

HalleLouja · 15/11/2014 13:44

Parkrun here too 439.9. Much better than my club run. Not near pb but purposely trying to regain mojo.

TheBigBumTheory · 15/11/2014 17:09

Parkrun here too

Bringing us to 443 miles

PB 25:42 so was pleased. I think the core work is helping, I'm doing squats, push ups and sit-ups.

MirandaWest · 15/11/2014 17:59

No park run for me this week as I was At Work. Should make it out tomorrow I hope.

Worst park run I did was in during March 2013 in a driving snow storm. Was a good thing to have done but not actually doing it Grin

actiongirl1978 · 16/11/2014 11:03

Morning everyone. Looks like I am the first today, I did a very easy 6 miles and it was raining which is my favourite running condition so I really enjoyed it!

I also have to start taking things a bit more seriously now as I signed up for my first HM last night, which is on the same day as the VMLM. So I will be looking for lots of tips from you HM experienced runners!

Total is 449

actiongirl1978 · 16/11/2014 11:08

Ooo, I have now double checked my numbers and it was in fact 6.7m!

So thats 449.7

Every little helps...!

TheBigBumTheory · 16/11/2014 11:22

6.1 from me this am-lovely run on country roads

455.8 miles

TheBigBumTheory · 16/11/2014 11:24

Action girl you are brave. I'm considering a HM in spring.

HalleLouja · 16/11/2014 11:41

7.5 miles from me. My longest run yet [twirls]. 463.5

Feet have you signed up from Fred Hughes yet? Am seriously considering it.

emummy · 16/11/2014 11:47

actiongirl I'm doing my first half marathon next year too. Have a charity place so can't chicken out! Am half excited, half terrified, and it's not till May! Good luck with the training

actiongirl1978 · 16/11/2014 12:43

Thanks Emummy and BigBum! I needed a target. I have made so much progress in terms of my overall fitness with my personal trainer, but I have only got 7 sessions left and so I am panicking a bit about how I will maintain my fitness. I am actually really proud of how much my body has changed and what I can do now to what I could do when I started.

So it will force me to keep at it, knowing I have the HM! I also signed up for a 10k and a 5mile in January and a muddy run in March so I will be super motivated come the end of April!!

Happy Sunday running friends!

Well done actiongirl, v exciting to have something to aim for!
Good running BigBum and Halle!

My running buddy and I did a challenging 5miles this lunchtime. Mostly off road in treacherous underfoot conditions ut the weather was lovely and we had a good time. We have signed up together for The Scrooge (9 muddy miles at Xmas) so we need to up the milage a bit.

originalpiratematerial · 16/11/2014 14:36

467.1 as I did 3.6 miles just now - still sticking with run/walk.

cinnamongreyhound · 16/11/2014 15:24

Well done HalleLouja, feels good to push your boundaries :)

I did my first cross country run today, two tough hills (twice each), sand, lumpy ground, mud and grass so a good mixture 9km in 52 mins with no walking so I'm pleased :)

472.7

standingonlego · 16/11/2014 15:50

I was away last night for a 40th - took all my running gear with me with a plan of an early morning run. Who was I kidding? So zero miles from me today but am sure that hours dancing on heels counts for something :)

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 16/11/2014 16:47

2.15 to add to the total making 472.85. Short and sweet, but it was great to be outside again even in the drizzle.

Well done to all the runners out today Smile

ThursdayLast · 16/11/2014 17:10

I didn't add my miles

478

karatekimmi · 16/11/2014 18:51

Its been a while since I posted (no miles added this month yet Confused but I have been checking in!!)

34.6 miles to add from me

512.6

I'll catch up when I'm not being attacked by mini kimmi needing train tracks attaching!! The glamorous life I lead!!

Suzannewithaplan · 17/11/2014 01:48

I'm a very late arrival but would like to make a contribution...I'm just back into regular running now that some ankle and calf problems seem to have cleared up.

Would it be cheating to backdate to my last 2 runs?
If that's permissible then I have 5 to add from saturday (treadmill) and 7.3 to add from thursday (outdoor)
if they don't count then I expect to have some to put in the collective mileage pot either monday or Tuesday:o
