2.3 from me, a slow recovery run as legs super stiff from yesterday's boot camp - too many squats! So that's 384

Mitchy1nge · 13/11/2014 10:58

Boot camps sound fun!

My legs feel GREAT after trainer did stuff to them yesterday. She didn't go anywhere near my calf but stretched and pummelled every other muscle and tendon and ligament instead. Must not panic every time I feel the slightest twinge in my calf Blush

actiongirl1978 · 13/11/2014 11:44

Oh that's good news mitchy, I was having a look at local sports massages online last night, all this personal training, plus running and pilates and a dodgy pair of trainers and a new comfy pair of trainers has left me aching in a different place every day, including super tight IT bands which I just can't seem to sort out on the roller. So wondering if I should treat myself.

I can add 2.5 miles for this morning, only done because the car had to go into the garage and it was either run or sit in kwikfit waiting room!

So that's 386.5

science I was thinking exactly the same thing about treadmill running the other day. I wasn't sure if it was in miles or K and was very disappointed to find it was K.

I am still thinking about the winter run - the finish is very close to my office so there's a possibility of a shower and change at the end. And it's close to my birthday. But it is a leetle pricy, I've run the route before and it means commuting into London on a weekend when I do that every working day of the week.

Am deffo doing Spring Wolef Grin

emummy · 13/11/2014 16:56

Mitchy boot camp is lots of fun while very hard at the same time. Highly recommended!

Mitchy1nge · 13/11/2014 17:10

bootcamp is going on my list 'what to do if there is an opening in current exercise schedule due to injury or boredom' :)

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 13/11/2014 17:16

There is a bootcamp in the park opposite my house and it looks like great fun - now it's winter and dark evenings they bring floodlights Grin

5K on the treadmill - 36+ minutes, way slower than my usual time outside. Horribly hot though, and I had to slow down a couple of times for water.

389.6

cinnamongreyhound · 13/11/2014 20:21

I loved the idea of the winter run but even if I wasn't hugely pregnant by then it's very expensive plus travel to London makes it a no from me.

I had both running buddies bail on my this morning, and one who said she'd come this evening bail this evening. Dh won't let me go on my own while I'm pregnant Angry and not worth the argument! So no more miles from me until parkrun.

5.2 from me last night, tempo run-felt good.

Cinnamon it's a pity you couldn't get out with anyone-very frustrating when you want to.

394.6

HalleLouja · 14/11/2014 07:58

The worst run I have had ever. Well maybe not but felt like it. Lovely running club kept me going. About 5 miles. 395.6.

Was going to do a hit class but resting today. Will parkrun tomorrow.

HalleLouja · 14/11/2014 07:59

Sorry 399.6

Mitchy1nge · 14/11/2014 08:18

grrrrr at flaky running mates, I suppose life sometimes gets in the way (if you have a life that is) cinnamon

is a good day for day off louja am not thrilled about the rain and the wind and the greyness

on plus side am about to neck my first beet-it shot, not that am planning to be out that long but experimentation is needed

Mitchy1nge · 14/11/2014 08:19

that sounds like am suggesting YOU don't have a life cinnamon

is not what I meant!

MirandaWest · 14/11/2014 09:26

Went out running. Was v wet. But just over 28 min for 5k and my ipod agreed with my phone so that was good. A lot of puddles round here Grin

402.7

Mitchy1nge · 14/11/2014 12:37

the first 9.9 few miles were yuck but 10 done, friend's longest ever run!

412.7

cinnamongreyhound · 14/11/2014 12:47

No not at all! Although running is pretty much my only our of home/family life. One had cystitis and the other is doing her pgce and was up until almost one after running with me Tuesday so I let them off. I think if I could run in the daylight Dh would be bit more relaxed!!

2.6 miles from, not a good run. Was enjoying splashing through the mud then got sore stomach, same pain as when I eat gluten accidentally. So had to slow right down. Not sure where it came from, had one starburst when I went out, don't know if that's to blame. Oh well, 405.3

emummy · 14/11/2014 13:16

Oh dear, brain not working either! Sorry, 415.3

Mitchy1nge · 14/11/2014 13:57

how is tummy now?

I was Shock at your first total that erased my ten cold wet windy rainy and did I mention how COLD it was? miles Grin

am just thawing out in time to go out and get cold and muddy with horses again

feetheart · 14/11/2014 16:44

4 miles with club last night and it was hills which was HARD Shock

One thing you will all understand but DH really didn't was that I got the 'Strider of the Month' award for October at the club last night which I was ShockBlushGrin about as I have only been there since July. It isn't awarded every month and not usually to such a newbie so it felt quite a big thing. Still GrinGrin now. I've got an engraved thing with my name on and everything Grin

Well done those who went out in the rain today - hardcore you lot :)

emummy · 14/11/2014 16:56

Well done feetheart, you must have really impressed them!
Yes sorry mitchy, those were impressive miles! Tummy a little better, spent 2 hours in bed. This has happened a few times now, previously started after the run. Not sure if it's related, have spent the day imagining all sorts of awful things!

actiongirl1978 · 14/11/2014 17:51

Feetheart, that is amazing congratulations!

cinnamongreyhound · 14/11/2014 18:10
