I'm planning a visit to Comber this week, weather permitting!

Was committed to taking DD to music school as DH had a Beavers sleepover but now he doesn't have to do the sleepover so DS and I get to run - happy parkrunners :o

Creeper Boy apparantly

My boys have that creeper hat too feetheart and ds2 has nicked my souvenir buff I got from a race in June :) no running from them though!

Anyone ever done Crystal Palace? I've just booked to see my daughter dancing in London at the end of March, and thought I might try that one.

We were supposed to share that buff (got at the Buff-sponsored Boxing Day run we did) but I have only had it twice and last night I couldn't wear it as it smelt too much of sweaty little boy - ewwwww (yuck emoticon needed!). It does have to be prised from his neck at bedtime as well so if possession is 9/10ths of the law...

I considered South Oxhey but I think after feeling rough all week, staying close to home might be all that I can manage.

A New Zealand friend of mine has just Facebook'd me to tell me she is doing her first parkrun tomorrow I am very happy that my addiction is crossing international borders and infecting people all over the world

Morning all, it's my number 50 today!! I'm praying it's not cancelled as our course cab get quite icy!!

I've volunteered to be a run director and member of the core team for the new junior run starting up, I hope I am up to the job!! Funding approved, course approved, hopefully just a few weeks until the first run!!

Just looking at the weather forecast, seems milder than the past 2 Saturdays so hopefully there wont be as many cancellations.

Boo - we were cancelled. Too much ice on the course. I have been up since 7am (which was when the cancellation notice was posted) but didn't bother to check the website. Had I known, I could have jumped in the car and gone to MK instead. So, as I'm in my running gear anyway I am going to run around a different park

God awful today. Cold, hail, rain, so slippy I turned my ankle (not badly though). Absolutely beastly. I haven't been out all week either so I was not surprised to come in on my slowest ever time

Still. I'm one week closer to my very own red t-shirt.
Also, as Lanhydrock s getting more popular there's less pressure on the oldies to volunteer all the time. So that's good, though the days of my finishing in the 20s or even 30s are looooong goooone

A course record of 16:13 today and record attendance of 74! Awesome parkrun, I did ok today too 30:14 and felt really good :)
On way to see big hero 6 now with a stroppy Dh as I didn't leave enough time to get ready apparently!

I made my 3rd appearance at Daventry in 13 runs there. I'm becoming less of a tourist and more of a regular! :)

Not sure I'll make tomorrow's long run though. It's cold and wet and I still don't feel 100% so I'm not sure a 2 hour run is the best idea ever right now.

how do we order parkrun t-shirts? I'm not sure whether it's done centrally or locally?

I did SA and it was the winter course. Managed to get round in an ok time. Woo hoo.

Apparently there is going to be a Hemel parkrun too.

Meglet I thought you needed to order new ones via Wiggle but could have got it wrong.

meglet We can't order parkrun t-shirts at the moment. The process was put on hold shortly before it was announced that Adidas would no longer be a parkrun sponsor and we're now waiting for Tribesports to design a new t-shirt before the ordering process will open again. It's been suggested that this will me March time. When they're ready to go, everyone who is a due a t-shirt will get an email telling them how to go about putting their order in. This will go through Wiggle. You'll need to pay postage but the tshirt will be delivered directly to your home.
