Hi Five! Are you near a Runners Need or similar? It's probably worth having a gait analysis to see which trainers would suit you best.

Oh Cru, I'm jealous Grin. You'll have to tell us what you think of it when it arrives.

Hi can I join? I've been lurking for about a week or so.

I'll be doing W2R2 tomorrow. I've been diagnosed with PND and anxiety and have started using C25K as a means of getting me out the house regularly. And getting fit again. So far it's going pretty well. I'm in awe of the people on week 5-9.

I'm enjoying the pace of week 2 compared to week 1 - feels less stop start.

Hi enormouse!

It's nice to have you. PND is a bitch, I went completely mad just before Christmas and got diagnosed with PND and anxiety. Are you on any meds?

You WILL feel better. Well done for doing some exercise. One advantage is that it gets you vitamin D - I was a bit low when they tested me.

Hi all,

W5R1 done. Was a tough one as I'm feeling under the weather and my calfs really really didn't want to keep moving after the first run. This one most definitely took a huge amount of willpower.

Can I make an unrelated plea? Can someone start a new thread? I'm having huge issues loading this one since the mobile site upgrade because it is soooo long and pagination isn't working. We are nearly at the end anyway.

I'm on fluoxetine Cru. Its made such a difference, actually gave me the boost to get out the door. I just wanted to hide indoors but now I'm getting antsy on rest days and cant wait to get out the door. I go to a local forest park down the road from me and its beautiful.

Did you take anything for it?

Hi enormouse Smile, and well done Edwinia Smile.

I just did W5R2, which was surprisingly fine. I wasn't looking forward to it, but in the end I felt well prepared due to the previous runs Smile.

Does anyone use MapMyRun? Is there a way to switch it to km/hour instead of min/km? And is there somewhere about logging running gear / expected shoe life etc? I think there is, but I can't find it for the life of me.

Finally Grin, can anyone recommend an armband iPhone holder? My running tights have a pocket in the back that can hold it, but it makes them fall down sometimes Blush. Also, running socks - I had issues today as I might have shrunk my running socks. Can anyone recommend theirs?

I can recommend 1000 Mile running socks. I currently have a Karrinor armband from Sports Direct, I'm saving up for an ArmPocket.

KARRIMOR, not Karrinor. Hmm

I am on Sertraline but am about to go onto a lower dose.

On Map my Run, one of the headings is Gear Tracker. So far I think it's just trainers.

I have just ordered two new armbands. Mine is a cheap Velcro job and when I flex my bicep, it pops off and when I straighten my arm, it falls off. I have quite bad neck and shoulder pain which I think is because I'm trying to hold my arm in position so my armband stays on. I'll let you know which is better - Ronhill or Nike.

I wear M&S socks - they are thin ones that are meant to have silver technology (?) to stop your feet stinking. Quite cheap though.
