I need to have someone to do this with, I tried it once and got to day 3 but then gave up. Please join me if you want to attempt this with me.

Tried 30 DSL 3 today after a hips ,bums and tums class so was buzzing!
Wasn't too bad,not as bad as I thought actually.

Crazyhours · 18/03/2014 20:40

I'm having an epic fail of motivation. Haven't shredded or done anything else except drink huge quantities of wine since Friday. Help. Blush

Lindt70Percent · 18/03/2014 20:48

Come on Crazyhours. You've come so far, don't stop now. Try not to think too much about it and just put the DVD on and work your way through another session, you'll feel so pleased with yourself at the end.

Crazyhours · 18/03/2014 21:31

Thanks Lindt. You're right, I am thinking too much! It's too late for me to do it tonight, will fit it in tomorrow and report back so I can't back out of it. Thanks Flowers

spinningirl10 · 19/03/2014 07:44

Ri30 D27 L4 done!!

Crazyhours Keep going, it will be worth it and as Lindt says....you'll feel fab afterwards!!

Lindt bet you're looking forward to moving on to L2!

GandTnow · 19/03/2014 08:11

Right a truly poor attempt made today. Just sort of watched JM & co do some of the stuff rather than joined in! Still counting it as done so level 2 day 8 done.

Must try harder tomorrow.

Come on crazyhours I bet you can make a better job of it than me Smile

yadahyadah · 19/03/2014 10:29

Flippin' heck - D2 of L1 completed and someone came round 10 mins in (the neighbourly bugger!) so I had to start it again once they had left and so while I am feeling quite chuffed with myself (doesn't happen often, believe me), I am also a bit wobbly from just that extra 10 mins. Come on Crazyhours, summer is coming!

ErrolTheDragon · 19/03/2014 10:41

G&T - the one thing this isn't is a spectator sport! Grin

Well done yadah for not being derailed by the interruption.

Ri30 L2D2 done for me. The squat thrusts felt like they were straining my back so did more mountain climbers instead.

Lindt70Percent · 19/03/2014 15:48

6W6P L2D1 - half done. Level 2's very different to level 1. Loads of cardio which is not my strong point. Did the first circuit and then got part way through the second circuit (which is just a repeat of the first and then that's the end of the session) and found myself switching it off! Never done this before.

Feel utterly deflated and demoralised.

I'll give it another go tomorrow and I'm sure it'll be fine. I know the problem's really that today was not a good day to try a new level. I had a meeting this morning that I thought would be about half an hour and ended up being about 2.5 hrs. While I was in the meeting I was sent something pretty complicated to work on so I now have that to do plus a load of new stuff from the meeting on top of what I already had planned for the day.

I've got to go on school run in a mo and then will be cooking and ferrying kids to dancing and rugby. Really didn't have the time for Jillian today.

Still feel so annoyed with myself. Plus, whole body is actually shaking from the effort of doing HALF a level. Angry

spinningirl10 · 19/03/2014 16:38

Oh Lindt....you do sound as though you had quite enough to do today without JM!!

Don't be too hard on yourself, hope it's better tomorrow for you!

MissSmiley · 19/03/2014 18:30

I have no excuse now. My DVD turned up today. Ran today so Jillian tomorrow. Mooing to count as day one and count my effort last week as a practise!

I'm managing to do the exercise but am struggling with sticking to healthy food - ate a Cadbury egg today and felt sick afterwards. Why do I do it?

oohdaddypig · 19/03/2014 19:22

Hey Lindt - you sound like you have a lot on.some days it just doesn't happen.

Crazy - dont beat yourself up and count tomorrow as day one!

Well I'm moving on from shred I think. Been tinkering with BFBM which I like but next stop is Ri30! I think my split stomach muscles (since baby 2) are definitely worse so I'm going to replace some of the stomach stuff. It had got so much better - I think due to my kettlebells I had been doing so will mix it up.

Anyone else had this?

Good luck miss smiley! I'm craving bloody creme eggs too :)

LakeFlyPie · 19/03/2014 20:07

Just checking in as Shredding (or Ripping actually) has been rather sporadic recently due to life being busy.
Have a day off work tomorrow with DC at school / nursery so will try and get a session in before my late morning appointment.
Well done to all, however long or short your JM effort today Smile

Crazyhours · 19/03/2014 21:30

Thanks everyone for the encouragement Thanks
If it wasn't for you lot I would've given up.

30DS L2 D5 - done!

Had a really busy day and hardly any sleep last night so I practically had to force myself to do it. Was scowling a lot at the beginning but once I got going became less resentful Grin

Sounds like you've had a particularly tough day today Lindt Wine. Try not to be so hard on yourself! Tomorrow is another day

Did someone mention creme eggs?

GandTnow · 20/03/2014 07:22

Level2 day 9 done, think maybe AF is due as I'm wobbling about like I did when I first started (also craving creme eggs!)

Think that with that in mind I'll give myself a level 1 day tomorrow and see how that goes.

Come on everyone, we're doing well (at least better that I would without thie thread). It's actually really helpful to know that you guys struggle as well as me. And the results that you share on here are very inspiring.

Grin Thanks

Ri30 D27 L3 done....also been for a 30 minute run :)

Well done Crazy!!

GandTnow....I'm not a cream egg fan but the smell of hot cross buns wafting through the supermarket is so hard to resist!! I have to though as I can't just eat one!!

spinningirl10 · 20/03/2014 09:34

Oops just checked back and realised that was D28....only 2 more days to go!!

yadahyadah · 20/03/2014 10:31

D3 L1 go of 30DS completed. Woohoo. Now, to fast or to jack it in for the day, that is the question...

yadahyadah · 20/03/2014 10:33

Well done, Crazy. Woohoo to you.

Nightwish · 20/03/2014 11:59

KB&T L1D8.
Just had 4 days off again, seems very hard to fit it in when I have assignments due that need doing but trying my best not to stop even if I only manage a couple of days a week until all this work is handed in.

Need to find a healthy low calorie lunch but I hate salad!

2tiredtocare · 20/03/2014 12:56

Hey Lindt I tried 6w6p L2 today and no word of a lie I turned it off half way through too without even seeing your update! Did BFBM again yesterday and may try and do a bit more later but equally I might give it a break

Lindt70Percent · 20/03/2014 14:41

2tiredtocare, I'm so relieved I'm not the only one! I've been feeling so down about switching it off.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I was so miserable yesterday and it's lovely to vent here and feel supported. Thanks

Anyway, I have just done 6W6P L2D2. Had to give myself a real talking to beforehand as I think if I hadn't done it today I would never have done it ever.

It was horrible again but I got through it. It just feels relentless and very fast. Some of the moves are really tricky and I don't feel very coordinated when out of breath. Yesterday I managed to smash the weight into my left leg just above the knee while trying to follow along while breathless and out of control (nice bruise there today!). I think it will be better once I've mastered the moves.

Was really aching this morning (mainly my bum!) so decided that the half session yesterday must have done something good. Blush

Lindt70Percent · 20/03/2014 14:43

Oh, and well done Crazyhours!

ErrolTheDragon · 20/03/2014 15:14

Ri30 L2 D3 done - and then I realised it's brown bin day tomorrow and there was barely anything in it, can't have that at this time of year, so I vigorously pruned a large overgrown dogwood. I do love the sense of power I get from a good pair of loppers and a pruning saw.Grin

IdkickJilliansAss · 20/03/2014 15:22

Well done Lindt, this is 2tiredtocare, someone on another thread told me I had to name change as I am too energetic for such a user name! This was the name they chose for me. I'm feeling very fatigued today and have to opportunity to do some more exercise as DH has taken DS out and DD's at drama but I'm lolling on the sofa, I think if I force it it may be counter productive? L2 6w6p was very confusing and that bit where you pass the weight under your leg is a coordination nightmare
