I need to have someone to do this with, I tried it once and got to day 3 but then gave up. Please join me if you want to attempt this with me.

6w6p L1 D12 and 4 circuits of BFBM done. I really enjoyed BFBM as you can choose to do as little or many curcuits as you like making it less boring than 6w6p

Done day 5 level2 shred today. Feeling really annoyed with myself as I had to stop half way through and didn't do it well at all. Not sure why I found it so hard. Any suggstions? Should I maybe have a rest day or just keep going and kick myself up the arse!?

Lakey, after my early starts this week I didn't get out of bed till 10am!!!

I'm thinking of getting bfbm or nmtz....I keep reading amazon reviews but undecided as yet! I think one is aimed more at strength so I might go for that as I do a fair bit of cardio.

Love this thread, am certain I would've given up by now if it wasn't for this.

Haha Oohdaddypig when I say watching, what I really mean is that once he'd come out of his morning daze he starting climbing in and out of my legs giggling hilariously, and during the ab workouts would sit on my tummy bouncing up and down cackling with glee - it certainly made it interesting! Hope you enjoyed the cocktails last night Envy

GantT I felt like that yesterday, today was ok again. Have you had less sleep? Been drinking enough water - not just today but over the past few days? Diet been ok? Period due? Think all these can temporarily make it feel harder than normal.

Have a rest day or try something different G&T sometimes you just get bored and phone it in. Spinning BFBM is very cardio based and I was a puddle of sweat after 4 circuits and it is great to have the option to choose how many you do.

GandT - I normally feel like that when getting a cold or something. I wouldn't push it - your body says it wants to rest...

Feeling a bit fragile today but starting BFBM tonight. Will report back but think will miss the strength stuff...

Spinning - how has RI30 compared to shred? Much much harder?!

Off to get dog out. Does that count as anything or do I need to stop and do press ups on the way? ;)

Thanks tired.....sounds hard!! I'd like to have all the JM workouts eventually to give myself a choice! I think when you get bored you stop doing them!

Ri30 is a good follow on to 30d shred! I think L3 is hardest but I guess it depends where your strength/weakness lies! L4 is lots of plank based exercise but I love plank!!Grin

mrjolly - i started off using tins of beans, then bottles of.water, finally got weights from tkmaxx.

I have seen the future and it is not pretty. The dc's were spectating last night (and sitting on me) whilst i was shredding. Today when i was at the gym they got dh to put on mummy's telly. He put it on level 2 and they were loving it. I walked in and saw the walking plank i think. That is going to hurt Sad

Anyway, gym today and tomorrow so level 2 on monday.

6W6P L1D14 done. The fact I still can't do the side planks is really annoying me but everything else is fine. I can't wait for Wednesday when I'll allow myself to move onto level 2. Well, I'm a bit nervous too but I am pretty bored now and need a change.

A week ago I bought a triple box set of other JM dvds - 'Ripped in 30', 'Killer Buns & Thighs' and 'Extreme Shed & Shred'. I could mix things up a bit but feel a strange compulsion to finish one set at a time!

A few days ago I thought I could see my 6 pack emerging but I've eaten and drunk so much crap since then that it's gone back into hiding. I've been quite careful with food all this year but since I slipped and ate half my daughter's chips on Wednesday I've seem to have slipped every day since (popcorn on Thursday, wine on Friday and lots of chocolate every day). Think I've got a touch of PMT and am feeling quite morose and sorry for myself so I'm just going with it for the moment. It's a temporary blip and I'll be fine in a day or two.

Another big gap due to life getting in the way so I did 30DS L1D7 and L2D4 yesterday. I skipped the cool down at level 1 and used the level 2 warm up to take a breather but I was pretty sweaty by the end of level 2 so I got a good work out. I definitely need to work on my abs as I can't do the Pilates roll up at my Pilates class and grabbing my knees to pull myself up is getting a bit embarrassing!

I've now done 6 days at each level so for the final 6 I'll mix up the 4 days a bit.

Pushed a bit harder today, I'm not naturally inclined to push myself exercise-wise, so quite an achievement Grin
Am a bit concerned that Jillian keeps referring threateningly to "what's to come"!

Thanks for the comments, I think you might be right ohdaddy, 2tired and crazy Have decided to give myself a rest day and start again in the morning.

Thank goodness for this thread or I'm sure that this would be me packing it all in. Smile

Perhaps a cheeky glass of wine might be on the cards to help me 'rest'!

L2D10 just done.

My back went into a random spasm for no reason near to the end so not sure I'll be starting L3 tomorrow. Will have to see how it goes - maybe shower will help.

Should I watch L3 thru first or just go for it? Decisions, decisions...

I've been keeping an eye on this thread for a week or two, & finally plucked up the courage to start yesterday - ouch ouch ouch! How on earth can you do D2 when you can barely move after D1?! Shock Mind you, it probably didn't help that DS (2.9) was using me as a "horsey" during the press ups yesterday, my arms are killing me now. I think he enjoyed the work out more than me!

It does feel good though to actually start an exercise regime that I have a vague hope of sticking too, I actually really enjoyed it & the posts above are giving me hope that I will see results eventually.
