Awesome!!

EarSlaps · 05/04/2014 22:32

Go IdKick! I have ab dents but no arse dents Grin.

Notyummy- hope work calms down soon so you can get your life back!

Kundry- that sounds pretty painful, I hope the quad work gets you sorted. I'd guess isometric exercises would be good ones to strengthen without damaging? I damaged my knee a long time ago and I cannot do those jumping lunges as they seem to set something off but otherwise I've been pretty lucky.

Knotty- what are you training for? I'm sure you mentioned if before but I can't remember.

Hi to the rest of you, sounds like there's some great work going on.

I did Ripped L3 tonight, I can only imagine I really hate myself right now to put myself through those bloody duck walks!

oohdaddypig · 06/04/2014 07:49

Hey kundry - ouch. I think lunges are dodgy for dodgy knees full stop! Do you find the static lunges less painful (I do so often modify)

Notyummy - hope your work eases soon? It's exhausting as it is without working late every night.

RI30L1 done. Still doing it all low impact on the off chance I got pregnant this month. Boy have I got a shock in store for me next week when I crank it back up...

I have bum dips too but sadly still a donut ring belly!! And cellulite! Maybe they will be next to go :)

Lindt70Percent · 06/04/2014 08:14

KB&T L1D6 done. Really enjoying it but I've never sweated so much before, it was running into my eyes and dripping onto the floor - tmi?

Not sure whether I should move onto L2. I've got the hang of L1 now so am getting a really good workout from it. On the other hand I'm thinking, I've got the hang of L1 now so perhaps I should move onto L2? I think I'll do L1 for another couple of days and then move on. Is L2 much harder?

Kundry - ouch! That sounds really unpleasant. I hope you'll enjoy aiming for David Beckham's thighs though.

spinningirl10 · 06/04/2014 08:43

notyummy Well done for getting any exercise done with that work load!! Hope it gets better for you soon.

Idkick yay, bum dents, well done! That's what I'm hoping to get with KB&T

Lindt I did 8 days of L1 and am now on D4 of L2, it is harder but I like it.

I'm going to do something later, probably NMTZ.

notyummy · 06/04/2014 14:58

Hi all- very inspiring stuff here!

I did a really hard 40 minute programme on cross trainer yesterday, and then poor dd has come down with suspected scarlet fever hence little sleep for either of us last night. Feeling knackered, but managed to do KBLT L2. It's been ages since I have done it and forgotten it's pretty tough! Plan on doing some Callanetics too later.

Theonlyoneiknow · 06/04/2014 15:12

Aching a bit after a longish run yesterday but did 30DS L3 while DD napped and DS watched bob the builder and DP went out on his bike.

I would love bum dents! Have beginnings of ab dents but doubt my pot belly will ever go, I really struggle to not eat sweets and choc.

Hope your DD gets better notyummy, will she need antibs?

Oh for my bingo wings to be banished!!

Lindt70Percent · 06/04/2014 16:07

Thanks spinningirl10. I'll probably do 8 sessions as well and then move on.

Can't get over you lot for whom once a day with Jillian is not enough. One session a day with her is more than enough for me. Respect!

IdkickJilliansAss · 06/04/2014 21:05

NMTZ done

knottyhair · 07/04/2014 06:10

Inspirational as usual everyone! Notyummy, hope your DD is OK, bless her. Earslaps, I've signed up for a Pink Ribbon walk in June. Did 18 miles yesterday but to be honest, the last few miles were a real struggle! I seem to get pains at the top of my thighs (felt like I did when I was 8 months pregnant!) and the sole of my right foot was really sore. When I got home, I discovered a massive blister on there so no surprise it was painful. Soaked my feet in hot salt water and they feel better this morning but I'm very stiff. Did the walk on my own yesterday so I'm consoling myself with the fact on the day itself I'll be surrounded by lots of people in the same boat and hope that will keep me going! I feel a bit of a wimp though, I hadn't really expected it to be this hard, but then I wouldn't want to do it if it was easy.
Lindt, I haven't done Killer for a while (although it's one of my favourites). From memory, I don't think L2 is a massive step up from L1.

oohdaddypig · 07/04/2014 08:48

RI30L1 done

Great stuff knotty but hope pain eases. Have u tried magnesium salts baths?

IdkickJilliansAss · 07/04/2014 09:49

I did some Tabata this morning and involved the kids it was actually hilarious!

Lindt70Percent · 07/04/2014 10:29

KB&T L1D7 done.

Well done Knotty. I did an 18 mile walk once (just once) when I was about 15 and the soles of my feet turned into one massive blister. I also remember my hips were very sore afterwards.

yadahyadah · 07/04/2014 10:34

Hi all, I have found you via the April shred thread. Just done D1 L3 of 30DS. Like it but my knees are tired of lunges and are getting sore. Really need to stick it out for the next 9 days before I rest and then go to Rin30. Any advice from all you aficionados on good cardio alternatives? I liked the oblique twist jumps and skater moves in L2 - do you think that would be an acceptably demanding mod?

notyummy · 07/04/2014 13:56

Plank jacks?

notyummy · 07/04/2014 14:00

Have just achieved the ACME of multi tasking- last 3 circuits of NMTZ whilst on work conference call! Started it, got interrupted by phone calls so had to pause DVD so was running out of time and thought I would be able to finish as no other chance today, when I realised that I could put phone on loud speaker and mute and just dial in to conference call. Only 2 items I needed to contribute on and did both whilst in side plank :-)

yadahyadah · 07/04/2014 14:35

Coo notyummy that sound very dedicated. Thanks for the plank jacks reminder. Those with oblique twist jumps and skaters should do the job.

Jacksterbear · 07/04/2014 14:45

Wow nice one notyummy. I think if I tried that, i'd worry i'd sound like I was on the loo - a sort of strained voice iykwim Grin.

Just checking in from my sick bed - have had the most horrific sinusitis (think migraine-level headache) over the weekend and barely able to stand let alone exercise Sad. Am still headachey now, especially if I move my head, so working out is out of the question gaaah. Great to see you all doing such good work though; keep it up.

spinningirl10 · 07/04/2014 14:50

Jackster Hope you're feeling better soon Thanks

Notyummy Wow, now that is multi-tasking, well done!

knotty well done on the walk, 18 miles, not surprised you had a blister!

Today I've done KB&T and the first 4 circuits of BFBM.

IdkickJilliansAss · 07/04/2014 20:04

All circuits bar no.2 (bugger off burpees!) of BFBM done

spinningirl10 · 07/04/2014 20:08

Well done idkick!! I don't mind the burpees, after the one legged ones in L2 KB&T!!

Theonlyoneiknow · 07/04/2014 20:25

My triple pack DVD should be arriving this week which in to do first?!

Killer buns and thighs
Ripped in 30
Extreme shed and shred

??
Have finished 30 DS, do quite a lot of running so aiming to tone up arms, stomach, legs etc?

IdkickJilliansAss · 07/04/2014 20:35

One legged burpees! I did L2 of KB&T when the box set first came (ages ago) and I stupidly thought i'd jump straight to L2, i've blanked out the individual exercises but I remember being like 'wtf, this is sooooo hard!' Grin

notyummy · 07/04/2014 22:16

Killer doesn't offer that much for arms or stomach so Ripped or Extreme Shed and Shred I would say.

notyummy · 07/04/2014 22:16

Yes - the one legged burpees yesterday had me wincing...
