Thanks notyummy!

Hi all, after a long lay off I'm back Jillianing properly, 6 nights/week doing NMTZ which I absolutely love. I do half each night and that's working for me.

Very impressed with your conference call whilst Jillianing notyummy ...true dedication to the cause Grin

Lindt70Percent · 08/04/2014 09:16

I was considering trying L2 KB&T today but chickened out after all this talk of one legged burpees; two legged ones are bad enough!

So, I had a go at L1 Ri30. It was ok but I far prefer L1 KB&T. I definitely don't seem to be the type to mix and match videos.

oohdaddypig · 08/04/2014 15:55

RI30L2 done. OMG

IdkickJilliansAss · 08/04/2014 16:45

Even the warm up on that one is harder work daddypig
NMTZ done plus 100 clam exercises. I have ditched Tuesday pilates but I have a hours circuit class tonight where the trainer likes to finish us off with Tabata at the end

spinningirl10 · 08/04/2014 17:06

KB&T L2 D6 and BFBM x4 circuits doneGrin

StuntNun · 08/04/2014 19:21

I am on day 23 of the shred and wondering what to move on to. I also do Pilates and kettlebells and I really need to focus on my somewhat flabby abdomen. I was thinking maybe 6W6P would be good to move on to?

mamijacacalys · 08/04/2014 20:54

Started NMTZ over the weekend and on day 4.
Really liking the changed routines and feeling the difference!
Only doing 3/4 circuits at a time though. Will try the whole 50 min on Saturday!
Thanks for the continued inspiration everyone. Smile

IdkickJilliansAss · 08/04/2014 21:14

Omg, I was cursing doing NMTZ today at the circuit class focusing in on troubles zones...My poor arse!

EarSlaps · 08/04/2014 22:05

Killer L1 today, love it!

oohdaddypig · 09/04/2014 07:12

RI30L2 done. Again,OMG.

Everyone seems to love KBT. Is it the same 3-2-1 format or more like NMTZ?

Just realised there are too many acronyms in this post. I would ROFL but my arse hurts Grin

Theonlyoneiknow · 09/04/2014 07:21

I really like the 30DS format where it is all broken down into nice little chunks - are the others similar?

StuntNun · 09/04/2014 07:35

Looking at the reviews on Amazon Ri30 and KB&T seem to get the most glowing praise so I think I'll do one of those next. I really need to target my abs as I have a bit of a skinny fat look and toning my legs has really improved the look of them. They aren't any smaller but the fat is supported by muscle now. I see improvement in my tummy too but it's soooo gradual. But then it's not a race, I've been dieting since last June so if it takes another year then so what as long as I get there in the end.

IdkickJilliansAss · 09/04/2014 07:50

You are doing fantastically Stunt and very you seem very determined.

StuntNun · 09/04/2014 08:37

Thanks IdKick. I couldn't kick Jillian's ass though, I'm too scared of her.

IdkickJilliansAss · 09/04/2014 08:45

Blame Daddypig she named me! Wink

EarSlaps · 09/04/2014 09:05

Killer is more like NMTZ format- circuits that repeat, but it has cardio intervals mixed within the circuits. It's good as you can't really get bored. I'm also a big fan of 6w6p, where you do one big circuit then repeat, but others don't seem so keen. It really made a big difference to my core strength and I didn't get a six pack but I did get a flat tummy with a little bit of definition (there's still a pic on my profile).

I must do NMTZ a bit more often- I really need to work on my arms as they're still pretty weak, especially shoulders and triceps. I'm going to try a few higher weight low rep exercises too- must sort out a little routine. Add that onto Killer or 6w6p and I'd have a great all round workout.

EarSlaps · 09/04/2014 09:06

I reckon Jillian's bark is worse than her bite, you could totally kick her arse Grin.

oohdaddypig · 09/04/2014 10:49

I might kiss her arse Grin

yadahyadah · 09/04/2014 11:02

spinninggirl & stuntnun I too am keen to target the bagel belly - I mean, abs. Everyone seems to rave about Ri30 as being the thing to achieve this with so I am going to try that after 30DS.

spinningirl10 · 09/04/2014 11:14

Yah....yes I've done Ri30 it is fab and I have ab dents nowGrin

EarSlaps · 09/04/2014 13:18

Oohdaddypig Grin

6w6p gave me my little ab dents. If I could hold off on the cake and chocolate I'm sure I could get a six pack but I'm just that little bit too greedy and too lazy. I have a tendency towards apple shape too- lots of weight goes on my tummy and not so much on the hips and boobs.

StuntNun · 09/04/2014 13:30

I want ab dents .

IdkickJilliansAss · 09/04/2014 13:49

I've started developing them with NMTZ! I didn't get on with L2 of 6w6p but to be fair I didn't give it much of a chance Grin

notyummy · 09/04/2014 14:30

I have a 6 pack/dents etc. sadly no sign of arse dents (unless you count the slight ripples...;-)) but as a pear it was always going to be more challenging for me.

Another absolute mad week work wise, with a sick dd (now I'm proving) as well. Managed 30 mins in cross trainer yesterday and some Tracey Anderson. Grand plans to do a 'Bob' today but was up between 230 and 5am with sick child and lost the will. Forced myself to do L1 Extreme Shed and Shred- I think barring L1 Ripped it's the easiest of her workouts and I wasn't up for anything more!
