6wk6p L1 D6 done, not shredding today as I have reformer pilates then interval training (both classes just fall on a Tuesday I dont work out to that level the rest of the week!)

Jacksterbear · 04/03/2014 22:39

Ooh that's some impressive stuff 2tired and notyummy!

To atone for my "off day" yesterday, have just ordered some 3kg weights .

2tiredtocare · 05/03/2014 22:04

6wk6p L1D7 and 30DS L2 D10 done

EarSlaps · 05/03/2014 23:15

Did L2 of ES&S. Found it pretty hard and my coordination was not quite up to it. I don't normally feel too lost with JM workouts but some of the moves took me a while to work out! Think it will be a while before I could attempt both levels back to back!

notyummy · 06/03/2014 10:49

I have never managed both levels of S and S together. It sounds slightly odd, but i get bored!! Have done them both separately and done 1 and 2 circuits of 2, but just not motivated enough for both. It's actually still shorter (both levels) than either of the Bob DVDs I do, so I guess it just doesn't quite engage me enough to do all the way through.

Did nothing yesterday and plan to do Bobs yoga today and perhaps a shred and a ripped back to back tomorrow.

Jacksterbear · 06/03/2014 14:25

I find L2 es@s confusing too! And I've never done both levels together either. I think there's a psychological element to doing doubles, where it's hard to keep yourself psyched up for the 2nd one. I would for eg find it much harder to do two shreds back to back than NMTZ or BFBM, even though it would be shorter.

Just done L3 Ripped for a cheeky mid-week break from Shaun. Enjoyed it! Shock

2tiredtocare · 06/03/2014 20:34

6w6p L1 D8 done

Happypiglet · 07/03/2014 12:42

Hi all...well I have had a Shred week. 2 lots of L2 and 2 of L3... its still a great work out and time was tight this week!
Friends up at weekend so that will be it now until Monday...think I may do a Ripped week... one of each level!!

2tiredtocare · 07/03/2014 16:03

Sounds like a plan Happypiglet

6w6p L1 D9 and 30DS L2 D10 done, ouch

Jacksterbear · 07/03/2014 16:21

Ooh did you do those two back-to-back, 2tired. Props to you!

Happyp good work Smile

2tiredtocare · 07/03/2014 17:14

I had a 2 hour gap between them so not as hardcore

EarSlaps · 07/03/2014 23:15

Was babysitting tonight so I took BFBM (meant I didn't need to pack weights) and did that tonight. Haven't done it for ages but really enjoyed it.

threestepsforward · 08/03/2014 00:25

Evening all! Another late night message from the twilight zone!
Have been lurking and keeping up where possible and well done everyone. It's really nice to read what a wide range of stuff everyone is doing, it's very encouraging and inspiring :)

All okay here. Dog still leaving a big void in my life. I know I will get another dog as I don't function well without him, but I'm guilt-ridden as I don't know how to work out when, or how etc. Does anyone have any experience, and can help? I do know I would look at the new arrival as a completely separate entity, and not compare them, but it still seems, I don't know, unfaithful?

I should post on doghouse actually, ignore me!

GOOD news - Mum has had her all clear :) :) :) She has to go back in 2 months for a review, and if that it okay, it's a yearly check-up. How fantastic is that?

Through all this ruckus I have been managing to keep up with yoga, some Killer, some S&S and the occasional Shred. I've just lacked the va va voom so haven't posted, sorry....

Earslaps I saw you did Killer L2! It's a Killer, is it not? lol Have you done L3 yet? Consensus is that it's a wee bit kinder...

On a lighter note - I've been seeing a new man for a while now, and I think the yoga is proving to be quite a hit Grin

Sorry, wash my mouth out...

You are all doing great! Keep going...

threesteps x

Fantastic news re your mum threesteps, what a weight off your mind. And good work on your new man.

My beloved 18yo cat died when I was 17. The house felt so strange without a cat so we only lasted a month before getting new cats. We got two and they were such different personalities that it never felt they were taking the old cat's place.

2tiredtocare · 08/03/2014 20:17

30ds L3 D1 done, all lovely news Threesteps pleased to hear it

oohdaddypig · 08/03/2014 20:22

Hello - can I please join? I'm working my way through 30ds and enjoying it but a bit nackered the last few days so going to try HM yoga.

Threesteps - having seen your last post, sounds like it has hidden benefits :)

notyummy · 08/03/2014 22:29

Welcome daddypig. No bad thing to try something different and mix it up.

Threesteps- such good news about your mum!

Still plugging away here. Bobs Yoga on Thursday, a shred followed by a Tracey Anderson workout yesterday. BFBM today. Invited with dd to friends for brunch tomorrow and my plan is to get up and do Bobs Pure Strength beforehand- watch this space to see if I am disciplined enough to lever myself out of bed on a Sunday morning to do my hardest DVD....

threestepsforward · 08/03/2014 23:23

Yikes notyummy! I salute you if you do it, and something tells me you will!
You know I've yet to put that DVD in the machine...! I'm terrified of it lol If it's loads worse than NMTZ I haven't got a hope in hell...

Daddypig, I highly recommend yoga! I do Bob's DVD, JM's DVD and a power yoga DVD by someone called Rodney Yi. I've been doing these the majority of the time over the last few months, and I can genuinely say I am now pretty bendy! It's done wonders for my back too ...

2tired, well done on starting L3, that's definitely my favourite levels of all the Shred.

Earslaps, what happened with you and your cats is pretty much what I hope will happen for me. I did post on the doghouse last night, and I think when my memories of him are happy and fond, rather than gutted and guilty (he was in pain, and I couldn't help him despite loading him with pain killers), then I think it will be time to look at other rescues. Thank you for posting that x

Have had a busy few days exercise wise as it's a quiet weekend. L1 Killer followed by Rodney Power Yoga yesterday. And L1 S&S followed by L2 Yoga Meltdown today. Also did a 5 mile bike ride.

I'm now walking round my place like a crab and making 'old people' noises when I sit down, so I think I may take a rest day tomorrow!

Sorry I've been so AWOL recently. Will try and keep up properly with the thread now as I've missed it and now feel in a better place to contribute more again.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend all :)

3steps great to see you back on the thread and lovely news re your mum and romantic life! Smile I've inly ever had one dog so no advice re replacement.

2tired how are you finding L3 shred?

notyummy did you do it this morning? Either way, awesome, inspirational stuff from you as always.

My 3kgs weights have arrived! Crap they are heavy! (Have not actually worked out with them yet - will report back, if my arms are still working afterwards.)

notyummy · 09/03/2014 18:45

I did it! (All except a 4min horrendous plank bit at the end as I was running out of time - given that it is 68 minutes in total I decided that 64 minutes would have to do.) And did Tracey Anderson's Mat Workout this afternoon. Which isn't that hard at all, although sections def burn a bit- particularly the arm bit. 5 mile walk (to the garage and back as car is having MOT...) and Shed and Shred tomorrow.

Any news on the 3kg weights yet?

mamijacacalys · 09/03/2014 19:58

Can I join?
I was bored with just the Wii fit so started 30d Shred in January.
I usually work out first thing before the DCs get up.
Did a few weeks of level 1 then had the flu so had two weeks off the resumed in early Feb with Level 2.
Haven't progressed to Level 3 yet but went shopping yesterday and have dropped 2 dress sizes since January. Shock Smile
May try Level 3 this week!

2tiredtocare · 09/03/2014 20:12

30DS L3 D2. I'm enjoying it Jackster I was scared it was going to be too hard but it is hard enough without being impossible, a while ago I made the mistake of going straight into L2 of KB&T and found a lot of it v difficult

notyummy · 09/03/2014 21:16

mamijaca- 2 dress sizes! Amazing stuff. Shows what it can do.

2Tired- L2 Killer is def hard. Bizarrely L3 seems easier.

EarSlaps · 09/03/2014 22:41

Gah, Safari crashed and swallowed my post!

Anyway, welcome to the new posters! Sounds like you are doing really well.

Notyummy- I struggle finding time for the longer JM workouts, I think I'd struggle to do a 68min Bob routine! Does he do any shorter ones?

Jackster- you'll manage with 3kgs. I use them for a lot of moves and I'm a weakling Smile.

L2 6w6p tonight, plus tons of gardening today so I'll sleep well. Kitchen being painted and anniversary tomorrow so no exercise I think.

2tiredtocare · 10/03/2014 06:02

How is L2 6w6p Earslaps?
