Is Level 2 available online anywhere?

HaplessHousewife · 07/09/2013 21:10

I'm having a can't be arsed rest day today as I've been out walking around all day and just got in after a 1.5 hr drive home.

I wasn't going to weigh myself until at least the end of level one but caved this morning after day 4 and I've not lost a single gram, not 1! I wasn't expecting much but a gram isn't much at all ? I could probably do that my blowing my nose [hmmm].

RippingYarns · 07/09/2013 21:19

youtube will 'lend' it to you for £1.49 for 30 days Hmm

ErrolTheDragon · 07/09/2013 21:43

zing - 2x2.5lb weights sounds good to start with - you will probably find you could use bigger ones at some point for some of the moves. I'm on my second time around and I've got 5lbers (which were a bit much to start with TBH), plus 3kgs for the bicep curls/chest flies and a 10lb for one of the l3 moves where you're just using one.

If you have hard floors you'll want some sort of mat; sports bra and trainers. That's it. Good luck.Smile

glitternanny · 08/09/2013 07:38

I got a mat yesterday from a fb page and used my trainers with grip! much easier with those on!

I hate push ups I can't do them even the easy way I can't hold my weight :-(

I did some davina after shred yesterday and it felt so boring!

when did u all move to l2?

RippingYarns · 08/09/2013 07:52

Hi glitter
If you're struggling with push ups have a google for wall push ups to build up some strength, and keep at it. You will get there, and I think it's best you can do a few, even with bent legs, before you you move up a level.

Good luck

ZingWantsCake · 08/09/2013 10:25

ripping

waiting for dvd to arrive! I'll be kissing those guns soon too!Grin

errol thanks!

I bought a pink yoga mat yesterday (fiver from Tesco) and it made me feel "sporty" - how weird is that?Grin

RippingYarns · 08/09/2013 10:42

Yay! Ya fucking dancer! I've done it! I'm knackered shredded

Zing, if you want to get started, L1 is on youtube ;)

ZingWantsCake · 08/09/2013 12:25

thanks ripping I'm waiting for dumbbells too.

they are also pink. for cheerful motivation. (I'm not that girlyGrin )

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 08/09/2013 12:28

ripping! well done! You're shredded!
Fantastic!
How does it feel?
And do you fancy 6w6p Grin next?

leezl · 08/09/2013 16:01

Any idea if I could use an exercise mat on top of a rug? I have hard floors with a thin rug on top which I can't move out of the way, but it's still too hard on my back/knees so I need a towel or blanket plus a thin cushion!!

deeplybaffled · 08/09/2013 16:13

I use a yoga mat on a rug on a wood laminate floor and that seems ok. (And I crash down on it after the cardio bits rather than uncurling gracefully like jillian and co!)

RippingYarns · 08/09/2013 16:16

I feel really good, am wearing a dress today that I used to wear to cover my wobbly bits. It looks awful. I'm chuffed to bits!

I was thinking about the 6week6pack but am starting c25k tomorrow so maybe 2 new regimes might be pushing it too far for me? I'm going to shred on rest days though.

Leezl I think that's a good idea, I laid a towel down for the elbow bits, got carpet burn without

glitternanny · 08/09/2013 16:27

I can do them but I don't have a straight line at all! ill Google the standing ones thanks

just done 2 hours of housework now to shred before my date arrives!

glorious · 08/09/2013 16:35

Well done ripping!

My sports bra has given me a blocked duct :-( No jumping about for me today.

deeplybaffled · 08/09/2013 18:57

Level day 10 done!

Now for the alleged fun that is level two ( whimpers...)

OP posts:
HaplessHousewife · 08/09/2013 20:05

Day 5 done! Half way to level 2 ? not sure I'll be ready to move on.

Felt much harder after a rest day.

leezl · 08/09/2013 21:36

Oh dear Hapless I've had a rest day today and possibly will tomorrow as I've strained my shin somehow (argh). I've felt sooo lazy today and just know I'm going to pay when I get back on Confused

Sleepyhead33 · 08/09/2013 23:21

Just found this thread :) I'm on L1 day 9 . Just started to feel more comfortable with L 1 now I'm facing L 2 - Arghhh.

Qu for you experienced shredders-did the first few days of L2 hurt in the way the start of L 1 hurt?
Thanks.

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 09/09/2013 00:52

No l2 doesn't hurt. It's quite exciting after all the tiresome cardio leaping about in L1 actually. Walking press ups and skater jumps are fun.
The big quad and tricep ache is a level 1 thing.
Enjoy! It's very satisfying to realise you've got so much stronger in less than 2 weeks!

Bumpotato · 09/09/2013 09:40

Level 3 day 2 completed today. I know I'm not doing the last abs movement correctly and wonder if I should keep trying to get it right or change it for an abs exercise I can do?

I already have replaced the old style sit ups with crunches.

Bumpotato · 09/09/2013 09:41

sleepy no it didn't hurt. I was a bit "WTF?!" at some of the moves but got used to them and even started to enjoy them after a but.

HaplessHousewife · 09/09/2013 10:18

So, for the first time since starting, my calves don't ache today, maybe I've turned a corner!

ErrolTheDragon · 09/09/2013 10:59

L2D3 done, and a jog after. My hip was twinging a bit when we were walking this weekend (Malham cove, lovely) so reckon I'd better avoid the road Sad - the canal path was wet but not yet muddy so not too bad. I've measured on myMap and its about a mile walking and 1.7 miles jog (2.7km)... need to up my pace and get a bit further!

deeplybaffled · 09/09/2013 21:08

Just done level 2 day 1.

Who was it that claimed the cardio in level 2 was easier?? If I had the energy, I'd hunt you down and kill you alll...!

please consider it done as I sit on the sofa and feel sorry for myself ;)
