BIWI - I'm sure I've seen on other forums that you normally take the existing insoles out. You can have too much cushioning, and if your shoes end up tight, that isn't going to help.
wow, pennygallops, 5 times a week? That is amazing. I do 3-4 since I don't run on consecutive days. Nice to know it is possible to do more!
Umbongo, I used to add the extra minutes on too, it reassured me that I could actually do the next week. Took me so long to believe I actually could run!
annbenoli, I think that is amazing, given your weight too! it is going to be a bit harder, but you can do it! The first run is the hardest imo. You don't have to do it in 9 weeks, jsut repeat weeks til you get there. I really struggled with my first run. I think I pushed through it all and then practically fell through my front door. I didn't even manage the warm down walk! Stick with it and the pounds will start dropping off.
Yetanotherworry - depends on how big the meal is. I def run better on an emptier stomach. I usually give it a couple of hours after breakfast.
