PMK. I voted around mid morning. There was one elderly woman leaving as I went in. When I went down to the shop about half an hour later, there were three or so people coming out of the polling station. No idea if this constitutes a ‘rush’ of voters round here (very small rural town in West Wales - moved here in March.
Population of 1100 or thereabouts. Number on school roll (takes 3 to 16year olds) just over 300. Factor in maybe 100 or so children under the age of 3, that leaves a voting population of roughly 700. No idea what the turnout for elections here usually is. One thing I noticed - no tellers. I haven’t come across that before; probably because I lived in a massively large conurbation for 40 odd years.
I’ll be watching the results come in tonight (unless the exit polls are absolutely shite).
