Just saw it on BBC. 23970 voters at 140 polling stations

Exit poll 2019: What is the forecast election result in your area?

OP posts:
PotterHead1985 · 12/12/2019 22:57

I do agree that if Labour have been trounced as badly as the exit poll suggests then JC is going to have to go

Stinkyeddie · 12/12/2019 22:57

Yes!

I've got mead! It's 40% proof :)

BigChocFrenzy · 12/12/2019 22:58

Dwelling on the Corbyn nonentity is displacement activity
-and it's delusional

This GE was won on the unicorn promised by Leave,
on anger at the unicorn being frustrated by Parliament & the courts

  • those last months of the Rebel Alliance trying to use BJ as a glove puppet were absolutely toxic to many voters

Corbyn was a Lexiter and all his rivals are full-on Remainers
A full-on Labour Remainer would have failed just as dismally

England wants to jump over the cliff after its lost glory
Only someone promising that could have won

TatianaLarina · 12/12/2019 22:58

I just don't believe any result that extreme could be completely wrong. It might not be quite as large as that.

But this has been coming, of course it has. A tory majority was always the likeliest result.

Agreed, I couldn’t stomach people fantasising about a hung Parliament - I knew it was never going to happen.

RedToothBrush · 12/12/2019 22:58

My seat is 66% Con win 34% Labour win. Regarded as too close to call.

TheMustressMhor · 12/12/2019 22:59

Mead, stinkyeddie?

Pass the bottle.

Random18 · 12/12/2019 22:59

99% chance my seat will stay blue Angry

TatianaLarina · 12/12/2019 22:59

No, Corbyn is integral to this result.

Stinkyeddie · 12/12/2019 22:59

...from lindisfarne mhor :)

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 12/12/2019 22:59

I'm going to give the kids a great Christmas and then plan our escape.

chomalungma · 12/12/2019 23:00

Apparently there's 50, 000 polling stations.

Grasping at straws....

The80sweregreat · 12/12/2019 23:00

Now for Boris to ' deliver'
This will be his undoing.
All governments end in disaster.

RedToothBrush · 12/12/2019 23:00

Britain Elects @britainelects
Lib Dem source in Sunderland Central tells us Tories unlikely to gain the seat from Labour.

Brexit Party has apparently denied them the seat.

Piggywaspushed · 12/12/2019 23:00

stinky : mead from the now Tory heartland of the NE?? Sad

borntobequiet · 12/12/2019 23:01

My question was really about where and who. Because this is still a “different” type of election and I think it’s far more difficult to extrapolate from a small sample of polling stations. There are about 40 polling stations in my nearest small city. So 110 polling stations in the sample is fewer than the number in three smallish cities. How many polling stations are there in the UK? How different are the demographics?
I may be clutching at straws.

Hazardexhausted · 12/12/2019 23:01

TO THE TREE!!!!

OublietteBravo · 12/12/2019 23:01

My marginal is showing as 98% chance of a Tory gain Sad. I’m definitely going to bed. Maybe I’ll wake up and find it was all just a horrible dream.

Stinkyeddie · 12/12/2019 23:02

piggy :( love it up there :(

CendrillonSings · 12/12/2019 23:02

Dwelling on the Corbyn nonentity is displacement activity -and it's delusional

The only delusion was that Britain would ever elect someone like him.

chomalungma · 12/12/2019 23:03

Well the You Gov MRP might well be bollocks then.

Random18 · 12/12/2019 23:03

Corbyn is a factor. I would have preferred not to vote for a Labour party with him as Leader.

I did it because I thought BJ was totally unfit to be PM.

QueenOfThorns · 12/12/2019 23:03

Well, at least my constituency is apparently 99%+ likely to stay Labour. I had a dream last night that it might be under threat.

DivisionBelles · 12/12/2019 23:03

*99% chance my seat will stay blue
*
And mine :(
