The Brexit Party aren't doing one.

The Labour Party apparently can't afford theirs.

The Conservatives will just lie anyway.

And the LDs got upstaged by Prince Andrew's resignation from royal duties for being a fuckwit.

3 weeks to go...

Dusty
Religious/community leaders intervene in politics all the time.

Goodness knows, George Galloway's career with Respect was based on that.

Saying you believe they shouldn't is a legitimate opinion.

Responding to a particular intervention with memes that refer to anti-Semitic conspiracy theories (even if unintended) is 'next level'.

I'm sure it was unintended - but I think it shouldn't be posted here.

piggywaspushed, mostly concern over the apparent creep closer and closer to federalism. I think that was the main problem for most of them. One or two were concerned about loss of Sovereignty.

I'm afraid none of us talk about it any more, mainly due to Referendum Fatigue. Sad

I don't know any fans of Trump, just to make that clear!

Given that, these days, Ken Clarke and Michael Hessletine seem centrist - even left wing to some! - I wonder where Margaret Thatcher would have been today?

Might she, too, have been telling us to avoid voting for the likes of Boris Johnson?

@Apileofballyhoo, I’ve thought that for a long time but I think it’s even more produced Nowdays that it was let’s say 10-15 years ago.
I belive this started with Blair positioning himself on the left but actually having policies much closer to the centre if not right of the political spectrum.

If you look at the political compass graph you can see where exactly New Labour were positioned - and its not left, or just left of centre, or centre. It's firmly on the right. Confused

It explains the comments I see from those who'd vote for 'a sensible Labour leader like Tony Blair'.
