Did anyone watch the Dimbleby panorama tonight on Brexit? I enjoyed it. If I was a Remainer I would have been annoyed as I think Dimbleby leaned a little to the leave side. There was lengthy footage of blue bereted marchers chanting "you can shove your brexit up your arse" for example. Not a great look. Dimbleby on the other hand looked chic in dark brown and inky blue. Good strong colours suit older people I think. Better than beige.

Parker, I agree that Boris's speech was too negative. He needs to accentuate the positive. And I don't want to hear dither and delay again It risks becoming the new strong and stable.

I thought it was balanced Sunny. There was a lot of support for Boris. Especially from the Welsh woman with the hair salon!!

Some of us are very anxious about brexit and what it will mean for us, our families, our friends. I would love if brexit could be sold to me as a positive but no one seems willing or able to explain why brexit will be good for our country and our people. I've only been on the brexit threads since the new year or thereabouts so I missed the referendum threads and the countless threads before I joined in. Therefore I missed the earlier for and against debates. That is why I ask questions now. I live in hope that if we do leave it will not be to the detriment of anyone vulnerable or disadvantaged for whatever reason. I would love for someone to explain to me why it will all be ok as many leavers believe. I don't want brexit to be the clusterfuck that it promises to be. I want hope but not one person has been able to give me any hope at all. It makes me question why.

I can give you one simple benefit. Wages in England and Wales have been rising - at long last - ever since the referendum result. Can you agree that that is a good thing.

The fundamental benefits of direct democracy and the accountability of our leaders and decision makers may not resonate with you. But to me they are everything. Maybe you can acknowledge that a little?
