The Supreme Court case continues
(ruling possible Friday but likely Monday)

The new NI proposal is bollocks and Johnson didn't get why until it was discussed in Europe.

There was a press conference in Luxembourg which looks good for Johnson.

Johnsons approval ratings are up.

And we are making no obvious progress to anything but no deal...

Thank you Red.
A tiny bit of me enjoyed the story that Johnson didn't get what the problem was with his NI "plan " . Apart from the fucking tragedy of it

ListeningQuietly · 18/09/2019 15:03

Thank you Red

Belindabelle · 18/09/2019 15:03

Aidan O'Neill looks like my Brother In Law. I cannot stand him but I am feeling the love for the QC.

Hasenstein · 18/09/2019 15:04

Thanks again, RTB

Carried over from previous thread.

cat No of course I'm not.

My point is that the fact this man is a Labour activist means that many people can say that was the reason he reacted the way he did.

I think what he said was 100% correct and there is no way you would have your daughter in hospital.

My child to a slight extent has suffered due to mis diagnosis on the NHS.

But BJ will play the victim. I think that is appaling but that is the man that is Prime Minister.

Will John Major be giving evidence? Or saying something?

Alsohuman · 18/09/2019 15:10

Thanks, Red. You’re doing a sterling job.

Thereisalwayssomething · 18/09/2019 15:11

I would actually love the chance to challenge BJ.

With all his trips to schools etc I have also thought how i would handle it if he visited my children's school.

And i would keep them off school that day.

I would not want them exposed to him at all. They are yoing and then do not need to be exposed to anything as disgusting as him.

Belindabelle · 18/09/2019 15:12

it won't be John Major himself. It will be his lawyer speaking on his behalf.

Hoooo · 18/09/2019 15:14

Pmk

DGRossetti · 18/09/2019 15:15

I suspect Boris confuses himself with Elizabeth Tudor (and her father at times) Must! Is must a word to be addressed to princes?

NigellasGuest · 18/09/2019 15:15

Thank you Belinda

Cute cuddling cats, who took over my normal place on the sofa Smile

Finding it fascinating reading the SC blog - they do a brilliant job of summarising very dry matter.

Currently watching it live while I have a break: I think the blog is much easier Wink

Thanks, red 💐

“The situation here is quite fluid.”

“What’s that mean?”

“It means we’re up the creek.”
