It's on the BBC news website.

What an utter prick.

I'd my dcs did this at the dinner table there would be words.

Shows his complete and utter contempt for parliamentary discussions that aren't going his way.

Fair go, he's just trying to make the government benches look a bit less empty.

FlibbertyGiblets · 03/09/2019 23:31

A real wtf moment. I mean COME ON, where's your decorum, pal?

SunnivaGunne · 03/09/2019 23:31

If anyone did it in any job they would, quite rightly, be let go. Showing that much arrogance and disrespect means he needs to find a new job. One that interests him (and keeps his offensive mug out of our sight)

northerngirl2012 · 03/09/2019 23:34

He is such a twat! That’s all I have to say.

ssd · 03/09/2019 23:34

The EU negotiators must be laughing so hard at us.
The conservatives have made us an utter laughing stock.

I rarely post here although I follow the Brexit forum avidly.

I was just saying to OH that if you sat like that in a court you would be asked to desist or leave.

I witnessed this when I was on jury service at the Old Bailey. I guess he's above the law.

ssd · 03/09/2019 23:38

He obviously thinks so.

I really don't think Nanny would have approved of that behaviour.

StealthPolarBear · 03/09/2019 23:47

Maybe he had wind.
Or maybe his pet stick insect had just died.
Or maybe his hip was hurting.
The chances of him being a huge arrogant knob are slim to none, surely.

TheFairyCaravan · 03/09/2019 23:49

He's such an arrogant bastard. There's no other job where people would be allowed to behave like MPs do in the HOC.

Windbeneathmybingowings · 03/09/2019 23:51

He’s a child. He debates like a child. He reasons like a child. He basically says ner ner ne ner ner with every inch of his being.

He’s the dirty rascal as opposed to the king kid the castle though.

GeoffreyAndBungle · 03/09/2019 23:51

Demonstrating rudeness and utter contempt, surely sitting up straight is a basic requirement at work?

Just read on Twitter something about him lying in Parliament... 😂

CoolCarrie · 03/09/2019 23:58

What an arse, it’s a laugh or cry moment

Findumdum1 · 04/09/2019 00:00

What a hideous specimen he is.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 04/09/2019 00:16

The problem is he knows he can act with such contempt because in the current climate a large part of the electorate literally do not care, all they want is Brexit. And he's appealing to those people and is consequently high on arrogance. We don't need or have space for truly sincere intelligent politicians anymore. It's just popularity politics. They've been spinning the image of truth so long the current breed have no ethics and believe their own bullshit.

Nat6999 · 04/09/2019 00:42

I wanted someone from the Labour bench to pop across & give him a slap across his smug face.

HateIsNotGood · 04/09/2019 00:43

It must be very tiring be an MP at the moment. Wouldn't any of us 'spread out' if presented with empty seats on a plane/train too? Maybe these things are important to some here, not me as I prefer to bore myself silly listening to the Live HoC - no wonder JRM spread himself out - they droned on and on for hours. And got nowhere......

zebrasdontwearbras · 04/09/2019 00:53

Got nowhere?

MPs voted to take back control.

I was watching live, and was surprised to see JRM lounging like that. I can't stand him, but he normally has more decorum.

Pieceofpurplesky · 04/09/2019 00:58

The thing is @HateIsNotGood he is not on a plane he is representing his constituents in a role he gets well rewarded for and is representing the country to the rest of the EU. He is rude, arrogant and smug.

This has been on Twitter.

greentheme23 · 04/09/2019 01:35

I'm afraid the bunch of Tories we have ended up with leading the country are dysfunctional weirdos. Their behaviour has turned us from the Great Britain of 2012 to the little england.

RuggerHug · 04/09/2019 01:44

There's more on Twitter but I can't post screenshots here for some reason. If anyone is interested in the outside UK view, IrishSimpsonsFans has a lot to show.

Hollyhobbi · 04/09/2019 01:44

Its also on the RTE news website in Ireland. He looks like he's laughing his head off! I know if I went into work and was lounging around like that I wouldn't be long waiting to be pulled up on itHmm
