Tomorrow the Indicative debate starts at 3pm

The Speaker will choose options to go to vote.

Vote at 7pm for yes or no for each option.

7.30pm The SI debate on extension followed by vote.

Announcement of the indicative vote sometime between 8.15pm and 9.30pm

Meanwhile the DUP have indicated they would prefer a long delay (and presumably EU elections by default) rather than May's deal, in a strange twist of Brexit.

Silly me! I forgot the basic wage won't HAVE to go up again. Of course. But people won't be able to afford whatever typical business offers. Unless it's a boom in health insurance Sad - so we'll be moving away from produce and physical purchases towards unequal protections instead.

I'd still have thought having a wealthier population would be more profitable than a poor one.

RevokeRemainRebuild · 27/03/2019 07:40

Who's on R4 now?

TalkinPaece · 27/03/2019 07:41

That BritainBitesBack page has cheered me up no end.

And the sun is shining.
And DH and I have had a brainwave about Glastonbury.
It will all be OK.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/03/2019 07:42

Morning all,
Some nasty viruses about at the moment. I hope your little un is feeling better Red.

Listened to Letwin this morning, while we clearly have different beliefs in what the right outcome would be, he really is a proper adult at present isn't he.

{ permanent drought in Australia. }
And the terrible flooding in Northern Queensland. an area, THE SIZE OF ENGLAND underwater with millions of cattle drowned or then starved as it prevented feeding.

Songsofexperience · 27/03/2019 07:52

True- another symptom of the imbalance affecting everything.

PostNotInHaste · 27/03/2019 07:56

I have done what I can with email to my MP this morning, rather long and hope he gets to the end. From where he is now which is as hardline ERG as they come WA would be only way forward for him I think. So constructed email around that and going to see if I can get others to do the same.

Clean Global Exit has been giving me the rage for months ! I actually think he is fundamentally quite a decent person but grew up in a bubble . I know he does work with the homeless and saw him ask a question about provisions would be in place for Jobseekers who have no internet access and has campaigned for School Funding. But he is going more and more hardline over Brexit,

Apileofballyhoo · 27/03/2019 07:56

This Government wrote to every household prior to the referendum, promising that the outcome of the referendum would be implemented.

I thought no parliament was bound by the one before?

Yep I just heard that

LonelyTiredandLow · 27/03/2019 08:08

Because JC wants us to leave.
How have people not understood that? He is a eurosceptic. He's been useless because he agrees with Brexit.

TalkinPaece · 27/03/2019 08:09

mother
Corbyn wants Brexit
he just wants the Tories to do his dirty work.
Seamus Milne his chief policy adviser also wants the UK to leave NATO
so that we can become a satellite to Russia its all in his blog posts

ContinuityError · 27/03/2019 08:09

mother Gardiner was saying Labour won’t support Revoke because it doesn’t uphold the result of the the referendum Hmm

LonelyTiredandLow · 27/03/2019 08:11

So now we have the left's version of what happened on the right last week. This is why I hope both parties fail miserably next GE. Labour were too chicken to actually admit they were a vote for Brexit but have merrily been complicit in continuing the falsehood that at the last GE everyone who voted for them wanted Brexit. I'd be furious as a remainer if I'd trusted them with my vote!

MadAboutWands · 27/03/2019 08:11

PMK

BiglyBadgers · 27/03/2019 08:12

The Petition along with Saturday’s March has given more MPs the courage to speak out. 3 resigned to vote for indicative votes, Revoke now a possibility to be voted on which was pretty much unthinkable @ couple of weeks ago and half the ERG look like they may capitulate plus we’re no longer leaving on Friday.

The response from government to the petition is exactly as expected. I didn't sign it because I even for a moment thought that the government would suddenly change the habits of a lifetime. I signed it for the reasons above. The very fact that we are getting these votes today is a victory that I firmly believe came at least in part because of the petition and the march. We need to make people realise that success has come from these things and not leave them to become apathetic because they were hoping for something that was never ever going to happen.

BiglyBadgers · 27/03/2019 08:14

I still believe that the only way we would get revoke is through a PV. Parliament are never going to vote for it directly.

PestyMachtubernahme · 27/03/2019 08:14

According to David Henig, these are the realistic choices.
What is the point of votes if they are whipped and people are encouraged to vote for unicorns. twitter.com/DavidHenigUK/status/1110640150252605444

His article also explains realistic choices www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/politics/good-luck-to-mps-as-they-try-to-untangle-this-mess-of-unprecedented-proportions

Morning.

I hope your little people are faring better today, Red and Bercow. It's awful having poorly children.

I'm kind of dreading today, given Parliament's utter inability to say what they actually want to date.

BiglyBadgers · 27/03/2019 08:16

I sort of glad I'm really busy today and won't have time to follow everything. It's all a bit stressful.

TalkinPaece · 27/03/2019 08:17

Revoke would rend asunder both the Tory and Labour parties

whats not to like? Grin

NigellasGuest · 27/03/2019 08:20

Is there any way we could compose a comprehensive reply to that ludicrous email from the government, and somehow campaign for everyone who signed the petition (and therefore has received the government email), to email said response to the government? With the aim of 5m people (or whatever the number of signatories is now) emailing the government with the same response?

Runningintothesunset · 27/03/2019 08:21

I don’t think either side have decided if it’s a free vote or not. Which completely defeats the point of the process Hmm

jasjas1973 · 27/03/2019 08:21

Labour are utterly useless, tories in red coats, how the fuck can Parliament take control if the front benches tell their MPs how to vote?

Yet another pointless exercise.... never more convinced its MV3 and the WA :(
