...Children! Lollipops! Lollipops if you vote for my deal!

OP posts:
MissedTheBoatAgain · 13/03/2019 02:02

Great news. MP's have rejected May'spay 39 Billion to remain deal by 149 votes. Best news since the May deal was rejected by 230 votes.

Good that some MP's still have a pair

bellinisurge · 13/03/2019 05:58

Just to remind everyone @MissedTheBoatAgain hasn't lived in the UK or EU for 30 years. 🐝

MissedTheBoatAgain · 13/03/2019 06:20

Just to remind everyone @MissedTheBoatAgain hasn't lived in the UK or EU for 30 years, but is a UK citizen that has properties in, England, Scotland and Eastern Europe.

{Great news. MP's have rejected May'spay 39 Billion to remain deal by 149 votes}

Shame you are incorrect. The agreed amount is around £39 Billion if the UK goes into a 2 year transition period. If the UK crashed out with no deal then around £19 Billion is due to cover joint projects and responsibilities.
Attention to detail and spouting crap is the sure sign of a 'leaver' or in MissedTheBoatAgain's case a shit stirer.

1tisILeClerc · 13/03/2019 06:52

That is 'no attention to detail'.

MissedTheBoatAgain · 13/03/2019 07:13

That is 'no attention to detail

See even your own post had to be clarified. So much for detail?

£39 Billion - £19 Billion = £20 Billion

Hammond estimates UK budget will need to be revised by that amount if UK leaves EU with no deal. So where is the issue?

bellinisurge · 13/03/2019 07:21

@MissedTheBoatAgain has been waiting for us all to wake up . He got bored waiting yesterday and posted shit about goose stepping and the fourth reich (that's the E.U., btw). Yes it is a he.

1tisILeClerc · 13/03/2019 07:30

{£39 Billion - £19 Billion = £20 Billion}
It is an approximate amount and will vary by the exchange rate at the time. The important aspect is that the bill will not be cancelled. It is due to be payed over several years so not a lump sum.

MissedTheBoatAgain
Rather than just being a 'goady arse' maybe you would like to put your great mind into thinking of ways to re employ say a million car workers and their sub contractors so they don't all end up sitting at home spending the tax you are paying.

TheElementsSong · 13/03/2019 08:51

🐝Can we have the gem about not knowing that agreements between the English (sic) and Irish governments are international agreements?

MissedTheBoatAgain · 13/03/2019 09:12

Read the thread

Anyone changed their minds

A poster called cherin began to work out what was happening and I clarified what I do.

MissedTheBoatAgain · 13/03/2019 09:17

Manufacturing in UK has been in decline for a long time in UK. EU's decision to give Japan a FTA to sell cars that are made in Japan in Europe without tariffs will result in close of all Japanese car factories in EU as there is no incentive to remain in the EU. All employment and profits will now remain in Japan.

Guess LeClerc is a UK car worker? If so that is bad luck.

bellinisurge · 13/03/2019 10:11

I'm waiting for the Basil Fawlty-esque goose stepping comments we had yesterday. 🐝

MissedTheBoatAgain · 13/03/2019 10:27

Serious comments now. I won my net the other day that I could take a thread to 1,000 posts.

1tisILeClerc · 13/03/2019 10:38

{Guess LeClerc is a UK car worker? If so that is bad luck.}
How did you guess?
I have been offered short time working but how can I feed and clothe my 13 children? I have no idea what to do now.

MissedTheBoatAgain · 13/03/2019 11:14

13 children? Maybe a wind up. Under the UK benefit system you would not need to work

1tisILeClerc · 13/03/2019 11:50

{Under the UK benefit system you would not need to work}
Benefits don't pay enough so I have to do some shifts at the car plant.

Coppersulphate · 13/03/2019 14:40

LeClerc lives and works in France so I don't know why s/he is criticising someone else who lives overseas.
What has all this got to do with LeClerc anyway? I don't expect to vote in any French elections.
And yes, I know, it affects you blah, blah, blah.
What goes on in America affects us all yet I don't expect them to let me vote over there.
,

jasjas1973 · 13/03/2019 14:59

I'm at a loss as to why any of you are engaging with MTBA, he is just baiting you all.

Coppersulphate · 13/03/2019 15:38

MTBA has as much right as anybody else to comment and give opinions.
You comment that they don't live in the Uk. Neither do some of you.

jasjas1973 · 13/03/2019 15:45

Copper - i don't agree with you but you do not deliberately goad people and can constructively be engaged with or agree to disagree.

MTBA can comment all he likes for all i care, i just don't understand why, when he is clearly being so goady, folk keep responding.

1tisILeClerc · 13/03/2019 15:46

{What has all this got to do with LeClerc anyway?}
As a British citizen I am entitled to vote for up to 15 years wherever I live.

{ I don't expect to vote in any French elections.}
But you should have been voting for your MEP to represent the UK's interests in Brussels for the things that the UK shares with the EU.

bellinisurge · 13/03/2019 15:55

@Coppersulphate perhaps you missed some of MTBA "helpful" posts about goose stepping, little moustaches and the fourth reich. Or his lack of understanding that the UK and Ireland were two separate countries. Or that MEPs are elected.
Goady ignorant crap that undermines anything useful the Non-Dom might have to say. As for other posters being non-UK residents. Unlike MTBA, they live in the EU and so are directly affected by Brexit.

TheElementsSong · 13/03/2019 16:02

Anyone can comment. And anyone can comment on their comment.

1tisILeClerc · 13/03/2019 16:04

{What has all this got to do with LeClerc anyway?}
There is also threats to pensions that have been paid into in the UK being impacted, health provision that has been paid into in the UK, issues with travel, citizens rights and others.
