Campaign to revoke Article 50

It is possible for our parliament to revoke Article 50 any time before 29th March. We would not need this decision to be agreed by the other EU countries and we would remain members on the same advantageous terms we now have- not in the euro, nor in Schengen, and benefitting from a rebate.

If only our politicians were brave enough to stand up to the brexit bullies and do what they well know best for the country. It is by far and away the best possible outcome.

Well I think it’s the best option for the country right now. No Brexit being better than a bad one.

I’m not sure why it isn’t being mooted more as an option. I want to shout it from the rooftops!!

We need everyone to be aware that Revocation is a very simple act (as confirmed by ECJ). No one loses any rights if we revoke we just maintain our current position with the EU.

The Government says because of the Referendum result it has a mandate to make the UK leave the EU. Whether we agree with that assertion or not, the Referendum did not mandate the Gov to ensure we leave on 29/3/19. As things stand, we have no certainty that leaving with be a smooth process, that it will be GOOD for the UK economically or socially. The EU border with the UK in Ireland is also a red flag.

So let’s revoke until such time as we have resolved the many issues that may jeopardise our country’s future, and / or we accept our future lies in a union with other countries and not in splendid isolation.

We need to create a national discussion where this is presented as a sensible solution to the current issues. I think it’s our best option right now.

Surely even some Leavers can justify this stance on the basis the timing isn't right? They can bide their time on the basis there's no feasible plan (yet).

The UK is leaving the EU on 29 March.
Although revoking is legally possible, I feel it is inadvisable as there is nowhere near enough support for it. The UK government has been Eurosceptic for many years and the whole process over the last 2 1/2 years has been one of ridiculous posturing, flouncing and disrespect by senior members of the UK cabinet and many in the 'press'.
The UK is in the process of forking out £4 Billion in preparations to leave, never mind the actual cost of leaving. The amount of work necessary is immense and nothing like hanging a notice in the post office window declaring that as from today newly issued passports will be blue.

We don’t know there isn’t support if the option isn’t being discussed. We NEED to be raising this as an option. Tweet about it, talk about it. Write letters to the papers or comment in articles. If we can each convince five people today, and they convince five tomorrow at least we’ll be spreading the word!

I think a revoke is definitely on the cards in Westminster, its why its is so important Mays deal is voted down.
Write to your MP pointing out all the flaws in her deal and that he/she shouldn't support the TM deal but do not suggest a revoke!

Money that would be much better spent in alleviating poverty. We can’t afford to leave; let’s revoke before we waste any more money.
