Scenarios
And it is his job to also model the worst case and prepare for that too if it happens

Hesta54 · 30/11/2018 12:32

MeganBacon At the same respect, you choose to dismiss any Brexiters reports

prettybird · 30/11/2018 12:36

Name some credible ones Hmm

ToastedSandwichObsession · 30/11/2018 12:40

Hesta if you could just pop some links of credible Brexiteer reports on for us to read I'd be very grateful.

Hesta54 · 30/11/2018 13:11

Tim Martin
Peter Hargreaves
Neil Woodford
James Dyson
Jc Bamford
Jim Ratcliffe
Simon Wolfson
To name just a few, but you will probably just dismiss them

ToastedSandwichObsession · 30/11/2018 13:18

That's a list of names and not actual reports or scenarios.

BorisBogtrotter · 30/11/2018 13:22

Tim Martin - not credible, said he would be able to sell Aussie wine cheaper without tariffs, it works out at 7p per bottle,m VAT is £2.50 on average. Goes with the whole cheaper for British consumers angle, but used Australia ( dealt with above) and Chille as examples ( the EU already has no tariff on Chilean imports).

Hargreaves - a disaster capitalist, thinks the insecurity will be good.

James Dyson - has beef with the EU because he wanted to make higher power vacuum cleaners, the EU have changed ratings in order to make appliaces consume less energy. Still chose to make his new factories in places with EU FTAs./

JC Bamford - found guilty by the EU for breaking competition laws.

Jim Ratcliffe- Backs TMs deal.

Simon Wolfson - Wants "red tape" cut. Yeahh we know that means employment law.

So no not credible at all using credibility criteria they all either have vested interests, have shown that their expertise is lacking, or have poor track records in this area.

Shall we publish a list of all those backing remain.

surferjet · 30/11/2018 13:26

Shall we publish a list of all those backing remain

Yes please.
With a detailed accurate account of exactly why they back remain.

BorisBogtrotter · 30/11/2018 13:28

the SSMT - car manufacturers, a hard brexit would result in major delays for firms with JIT, increasing costs. Tariffs on products would result in UK manufactured cars costing more, all of which needs to be passed on to the consumer, making it uncompetitive to produce cars here.

surferjet · 30/11/2018 13:29

And solid proof that they have no personal vested interests.

Cheers!

BorisBogtrotter · 30/11/2018 13:30

The Majority Financial industry:

Leaving the EU places the UK's ability to export financial services to the large EU market at threat.

surferjet · 30/11/2018 13:31

We want actual names please.

surferjet · 30/11/2018 13:32

& proof that remaining in the EU will not benefit them personally.

mostdays · 30/11/2018 13:32

"Never play chess with a pigeon.
The pigeon just knocks all the pieces over.
Then shits all over the board.
Then struts around like it won."

surferjet · 30/11/2018 13:32

Because until you can give us that your arguments mean fuck all.

BorisBogtrotter · 30/11/2018 13:35

Then we have the CBI, the IOD, the BCoC, the Universities, the majority of the FTSE 100 and more.

Plus we had Stephen Hawking, you got Katie Hopkins

MissBartlettsconscience · 30/11/2018 13:35

And your arguments are oh so compelling Surfer.

My2favboys · 30/11/2018 13:38

can someone tell me one eu rule that is bad for us?

BorisBogtrotter · 30/11/2018 13:38

"Because until you can give us that your arguments mean fuck all."

Says the person who has never, ever justified her vote to leave.

Your arguments have meant fuck all for ever, idiotic remarks and lots of supposition.

surferjet · 30/11/2018 13:40

You can’t produce one name with proof that remaining in the EU will not benefit them personally.

What a surprise.

Hesta54 · 30/11/2018 13:40

My2favboys FOM

BorisBogtrotter · 30/11/2018 13:41

Of course remaining in the EU benefits people personally, it benefits the majority of people personally.

Leaving benefits an elite few with very, very specific interests.

BTW I named you the representitives of entire industries, your side names these very specific interest people.

Loser.

BorisBogtrotter · 30/11/2018 13:42

FOM.

Explain why FOM is bad for the UK?

DarlingNikita · 30/11/2018 13:44

You can’t produce one name with proof that remaining in the EU will not benefit them personally.

I'd love to hear how Stephen Hawking would benefit from remaining. [all ears]

Bearbehind · 30/11/2018 13:45

Dear God this is pitiful.

Everyone who supports leave does so in part because it will benefit them personally because it’s clear Leaving is going to be detrimental to us all.

Cages are rattled though aren’t they?
