I think some knowledge of the classics might be ok. Do you know any Latin?

Floisme · 05/07/2016 19:36

^ That was to Patty

Hamishandthefoxes · 05/07/2016 19:50

I can volunteer. I'm used to being sent into negotiations where we want the people on the other side to do something to help us for no money because "waah I want it".

That isn't even my parenting experience. I'm shit at negotiating in that as I'm just tired by a day of having to go 'please help us. We really really want you to.'

PattyPenguin · 05/07/2016 19:53

Flo I have Latin O level (from approximately the era of the actual Romans).

Floisme · 05/07/2016 19:57

Excellent. Anyone else know any dead languages?

Lweji · 05/07/2016 20:01

Maybe you'd also like people who speak Klingon and possibly Valyrian? Elfish?

MayhemandMadness · 05/07/2016 20:05

I'm in, I bring to the table my skill of sulking. I can and do, according to DH, sulk for England and the Commonwealth. I am also stubborn and always right. The EU wont know whats hit em!

Floisme · 05/07/2016 20:05

That might work Lweji although obviously all negotiations will be in English. We are taking back Britain after all.

TheElementsSong · 05/07/2016 20:36

Oh a flurry of volunteers! I've lost count - how many are we up to now?

(I have excluded myself BTW because I can't in good conscience work towards an outcome I don't support. Plus I'm vile. And also an expert - is it all experts that we've had enough of or just ones who know about economics and politics etc?)

Floisme · 05/07/2016 20:45

I don't do counting.
Counting is for the elites.
I think you should reconsider, Elements. Vileness will be an asset.

And it depends on the expertise I think. Dead languages, elocution, cake making and soft furnishings - all good. Economics, law, finance, nah.

Smutlybobs · 05/07/2016 20:57

I try and play bad cop but always forget half way through and end up as good cop.
I've also got a Latin GCSE and a face that stays looking interested even when I am in fact asleep inside.

whydidhesaythat · 05/07/2016 21:36

lol Wish I gad one of those faces

I will switch rapidly between scratch orchestra and intellectual property law. I will hand out the ukes and show them Smoke on the Water when the expert bashers are in the room.
