Genuine q, what does the UK gain from this?

I voted Remain, but we lost and I want to be optimistic, so I'd genuinely like to know what benefits we can look forward to following Brexit. I'm really not interested in arguing, point-scoring or vague "taking control" statements, but I would like to understand what the positives will/could be for my family and me once the UK is officially out? Thanks.

User, I assume in that other referendum we had. The one that didn't cause political and economical turmoil, with no plan of what to do now, and no leadership.

The following is just a "possible":-

Not having to always carry (euro) id cards* at all times. Not even the Labour or Tory party could "force/persuade" us to do so.

*yes I do know that, currently Denmark, UK, Liechtenstein & Switzerland don't issue them to their own citizens. when that will change with the exception of the UK...I don't know.

*Except during the last 2 World Wars (which was understandable).

Gosh the AdamSmith Evolution link is horrible. Waffles on with words like "journey", "realignment", "possibilities", "compelling proposition", "glorious proposition" and other useless words. Then it waffles about a completely different version of EEA agreement than anyone else has, in lots of detail, that looks frightfully like the deal we already have, if I'm honest.

This link says words like "enormous damage" and "If the Conservatives can select a reasonable leader".

So basically the Adam Smith articles don't have a fucking clue how to fix this either, except by taking years to create something no one else has and may be remarkably like what we already have.

Yes. Fucking great week, isn't it.

But with Oliver Letwin on the case, and the leadership of both parties in turmoil, what could possibly go wrong?
