Sportinguista,
the In campaign actually have few arguments for staying in.
That is because it is not tenable to stay in anymore, the EU is a corrupt busted flush, undemocratic and dictatorial.
Our MPs are hampered how to Govern because of the suffocating diktats of the unelected EU bods.
Once out of the EU we will flourish MPs will listen, will have to listen to the people.
I have posted lots of links on here for busy Mums to dip in to .
Happy reading.

Wages are driven down by the EU,we will be a third world country at this rate regards health, housing schooling and space,we need to take back control of our country.

Anna Forbes
Yes heartening news about the RMT Union wanting Brexit, the EU is a catastrophe.

OP posts:
butteredmuffin · 08/04/2016 13:16

Hmm. RMT aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the box. I'm not sure I'd want to use them to back up my argument, to be honest.

HelpfulChap · 08/04/2016 13:22

It shows a very broad political spectrum of people in favour of Brexit. From the Marxist RMT/SWP to UKIP. But the Remain posters here continue to promote the idea that no one can provide a good reason for leaving.

Daisyonthegreen · 08/04/2016 13:29

David Cameron has admitted that Brussels did block Britains bid to help British Steel. Its on the Daily Express.

I know it's all they keep saying,it's their empty mantra.
I shall vote Leave because I know it's best for my family and country and the future.

What a snob,so a working man/ woman isn't entitled to an opinion,oh dear!
The Union is advising its workers to vote Leave and they are correct.

HelpfulChap · 08/04/2016 13:44

Working people are uneducated and ignorant daisy. We gave to be told what to do and what to think buy the intelligencia.

butteredmuffin · 08/04/2016 14:56

I never said working men/women weren't entitled to an opinion. I said the RMT don't appear to be very bright. That's not the same thing at all.

Why do I think they are not very bright?

Firstly, because they already get a very high salary and pension for what is basically an unskilled job, and yet they still go on strike every couple of months and bring the whole of London to a standstill. I can only assume they haven't realised that the general public has pretty much lost any sympathy they ever had for RMT staff and so when TfL inevitably decides to phase in driverless trains, no one will fight their corner. I've seen people from all walks of life sharing "Save our Steel!" posts on social media. But when it comes to tube drivers, people will say, "Good, serves the greedy bastards right."

Secondly, EU law imposes minimum employment protections which all employers across the EU have to comply with. If we left the EU and no longer had to comply with EU law, there is no guarantee that the current minimum levels of employment protection would be maintained. Let's face it - the Conservative government has long pursued an aggressive policy of curtailing the right to strike as much as they can without breaching human rights law. So why RMT think leaving the EU would protect their workers is beyond me.

Like I said, not the sharpest tools in the box.

I know !, I really do not like that snobbery.

It has to be said you do waffle
I have just seen this by Lord Owen regards our NHS,very worrying,it's a short article so worth a scan.

Daisy, the question of whether or not we should leave the EU is complicated. If you don't have the attention span to read anything longer than a couple of lines, how can you really be sure that you have properly informed yourself of all the issues?

Daisyonthegreen · 08/04/2016 15:54

www.expressandstar.com/business/city-news/2016/04/06/rail-maritime-and-transport-union-backs-brexit-to-halt-attacks-on-jobs/
RMT
Rail,MARITIME and TRANSPORT.,RMT are for Leave on the 23rd of June 2016 EU Referendum.
You are rude about highly experienced men on the tube who have a very responsible job which is reprehensible of you but you forget Maritime and Transport conveniently.

Helpful

Working people are uneducated and ignorant daisy. We gave to be told what to do and what to think buy the intelligencia.

Damn right. In fact you are so thick Helpful that you can't even spell Intelligentsia so you definitely should not be allowed to vote in the referendum. I expect you also drive a British car, which, quite frankly puts you beyond the pale.

Grin

Daisy

You are even thicker. You are so thick you wouldn't recognise a car if it ran you over, let alone be able to drive one. You should not be allowed within 6 miles of a Polling Station.

Grin

Only educated folk who take ever opportunity to signal their superiority should be allowed to vote. Part of the enfranchisement is the ability to afford a £4 pack of pasta.

Now run along darlings, You're out of your league here playing with #TeamLurked. Have you tried the Fun and Games section. They discuss TOWIE on there.

SpringingIntoAction · 08/04/2016 16:14

Excellent

As we were saying Helpful and Daisy, not all trade unions are pro-EU. The late Bob Crow was very anti-EU. They can see how anti-democratic. It is and also have the vision to understand that the EU is shaped by big corporations and no longer follows the tenets of its original European Social Model.

Itinerary · 08/04/2016 16:19

the Conservative government has long pursued an aggressive policy of curtailing the right to strike as much as they can

And that's a good reason not to vote Conservative, which as a democracy we will have the opportunity to not do every few years. It's not a good reason to stay in the EU.

SpringingIntoAction · 08/04/2016 16:23

Very true Itinerary

Which makes it so illogical to vote for a Tory Prime Minister's recommendation to stay in the EU.

The Tories are anti union. The Tories are pro EU.

The Tories evidently don't think the EU panders to unions.
