10+ exams Trinity and Whitgift 2023 entry

Hello everybody, starting a thread for parents with children who have applied for 10+ this year.

@London2007 thank you for the information. Had you already received your email from the school regarding an interview? We've had no email from the school. Just the missed call which I called back and it was the Foundation.

Hope everyone heard back from the school as they promised. Thanks to everyone on the group, it was so reassuring while I waited for 4 days. Good luck for the kids. They all deserve to get their first choices!

Yes, interview is on the 23rd.

How did the 10+ interviews go today at Trinity for those who attended? One boy I know went today and said it was a good experience.

No news from W yet sadly but have interview for Trinity.

@maybein2022 every student who is invited for interview will be considered for Academic Scholarship. No seperate mail.

We've just heard from W and he has an interview! Fingers crossed that they are coming through for you now.

Whitgift 11+. My logical brain tells me that the exam was only last week, they've been clear that we will hear in batches, but knowing that some have heard and we haven't does make this a hard process!
Sorry to ask, but have they sent the No's yet?
Anyone else still in the waiting crew?

I don't know of any no's for 10+ or 11+. Hopefully they're just working through. Good luck!

I emailed admissions before I had the invitation to interview and they just replied to say they were still working through the emails. Fingers crossed @HeavensToBetsy1

We also got the email just a while back. My DS has been invited for an Academic Scholarship assessment instead of an interview. They say its a 2 hour process to test his intellectual promise, his inquisitiveness, his lateral and analytical thinking. Did anyone else get this, just want to know what the process is going to be like as I have no idea what is involved in the process.

He is very keen. He liked W best amongst all the schools he applied for. I hope it goes well, fingers crossed.

I don't think they do. Just going by my personal experience with DS2 it seems unlikely (I don't think T knew what W had offered him)
