If you did GCSEs between 1988 and 1990 which subjects did you do?

I can't for the life of me remember all of my subjects. I know I did 10 but I've lost one.

Could you list yours for me in case it jogs my memory. I sat my GCSEs in 1989.

Maths, English, English Lit
Biology, Chemistry
French, Italian
Geography
RE

2nd year of GCSEs in 1989, English, English Lit, Maths, French, History, IT (this only commenced in second year of my GCSEs, so I started with a 3 tranche City & Guilds course and converted it to a GCSE and got four IT quals for the price of 1), Chemistry, Physics. 8 seems very few compared to DD will be most likely doing quite a few more.

I still don't understand why you can't 'drop' one of the sciences. I hated Biology and did the single subjects in Chemistry and Physics, but it seems you can't do that now, it is either double science which is two thirds of each science or triple science. What is the reasoning behind that?

We all took RE a year early so we could do the old O'Level... no idea why...

O Level - Business studies

Exam boards - know it was definitely two different ones as I got two envelopes and certificates. They may well not exist anymore, but iicc, they were the Midlands Examining Board and then something like the Oxford and Cambridge Joint Examining.
