Is anyone else waiting for 11+ results?

6 days to go and starting to get anxious...!

Our results are emailed to us W/C 20th of October!
So WAIT for it all week

DS will walk out of school this afternoon with a big brown envelope......so glad we will finally know. bites nails anxiously it's been a long long wait.

slightlyjaded - is a 50/50 weighting unusual then? Personally I think the 11+ should have a 'write a nice poem' section for the less maths oriented .

Good luck to everyone still waiting! Not very long at all now for in-county Bucks DCs.

DS is definitely less maths orientated & loves a good poem.. think it is 50% English, 20% NVR & 30% Maths....

We have an equal three way split between English, verbal reasoning and maths which is just as well, since if it was biased towards English, ds who never reads a book unless it is set homework, would not have passed!

Yes, the SW Herts results are dripping through. They were expected on monday, so bit of a shock.

Ds got 262, which is great, but there was a huge jump in admission cut offs last year, so who knows.

Very pleased, First. Still talking about options, but he is a sensitive soul, wasn't blown away by Watford Boys, was terrified of StCD, Parmiters is too far away, but he adored Ricky.

DH not convinced (he think he should at least have a go for Watford Boys), but I took ds round the schools and saw his reaction. I think he would throw himself into Ricky. We're going to think it through this weekend.

WBGS & Rickmansworth both good schools. I'm sure he'd do well at either, especially being that able.

Both letters came today, DD passed one but not the other.
Oddly, both schools had a pass mark of 334 and she got 293 in one exam but 373 in the other, a huge difference!
Her best friend passed for the same school, so she's not too gloomy about the one they didn't.

Postman sodded off home without delivering to our house.All my dc's friends know and are celebrating already.

My dc are really upset.Sodding Royal Mail.They were all posted 1st class Friday so we know postie did half the town and just buggared off.Simply not on.We wanted the Sunday to get over any results.
