Parents who are just about managing school fees

Has it been worth it?! Looking back was this the right choice for your children? Would you change anything about your choice??

On paper we could send our 2 boys but the final years (2 year gap) between them, would be tight and I would have to return to work full time when both children attend at the same time. Hoildays would be in this county only and luxuries would be out.

My parents are happy to help out with any extras at school and I know 'tight' means something different for every family.

Any experiences?

I do think it's worth pointing out that nobody forces anyone to pay huge amounts of money for private school. If you CHOOSE to do that then you should make sure that the school is right for your child. If you discover that it isn't then you can always take your child out. I don't think it's always right to blame the private school if it isn't providing what you want and I don't think it's right to make general comments about the school unless your experience is typical. Somebody used the restaurant analogy earlier and ok you can never really know whether you personally will like a restaurant until you've tried it, but on the other hand you wouldn't go and give them more money once you'd made the discovery that you didn't like it.
