Does turbo lister work with free listing days?
So if i add to turbo lister now and upload sunday will it still be free?

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 11:48

I'm pretty sure turbo lister would work for free listing days.

I know that scheduled things to start on Sunday are free.

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 13:44

Oh good, people are bidding on my items ending today and tomorrow. Was starting to think they would be going for the opening bid.

But still no ones likes DS's trainers...

roosterroo · 14/11/2009 13:59

All my christmas tops are now on, cant believe I had scheduled them all before I knew it was free listing.

well done mogso thats a fab total!!

mogs0 · 14/11/2009 14:44

I have a bit of a problem. The friend I was selling for has been in hopsital since Wednesday. She's allowed home today but is emotionally in a bad way. I don't want to ask her to pack up her item to post incase she can't face going out to PO or even be arsed to pack it. Should I email the winning bidder and ask them to be patient or ask if they want to back out of the sale or just ask friend what she thinks about it? I just don't want to add anything else to her stress at the moment. I'm too far away from her to go and do it myself otherwise I'd do that.

Tortoise · 14/11/2009 15:22

Oh dear mogs. I guess best to ask her gently. Does she have a dp/dh who can do it for her? Shame you don't live closer to her.

I have added chrismas toys/singing cuddly toys to Turbo lister. Also have a pile of jeans to list individually out of the bundle i bought. Hopefully will make some money back off them! Think i might start most at £1.50.

Also have a christmas jumper and santa dress to list. Oh and an elf costume. Did have 2 dresses but i put them through washing machine on hand wash and the fluff at the bottom has gone a bit scraggly! Will see if i can fluff it up!

OP posts:
Tortoise · 14/11/2009 16:52

15 now added to turbo lister. With a gentle brush the fluff on the dress re-fluffed enough to look ok!
Next job, jeans! These will take longer because i need to measure all the inside legs as i list!

Anyone having problems getting onto ebay? Am concerned it is a general problem and people won't be able to bid on my items ending tonight.

Divatheshopaholic · 14/11/2009 17:21

are we all getting ready for tomorrow

Divatheshopaholic · 14/11/2009 17:25

janx, if you have picturetrail, then go to self hosting and add extra pictures for free. i add, one free picture by ebay, then rest of them goes as self hosting which will appear down the bottom with your description part.
hope i makes sense.

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 17:41

It seems to be working for me now

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 17:57

The digital photo frames seem to have wandered off

Tortoise · 14/11/2009 18:10

Ebay working fine for me.
23 items now on turbo lister all ready for tomorrow night. May add some more! The corner which all the Ebay stuff is in, is where our Christmas tree goes!

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 20:01

One grobag sold and paid for already

Next one ends in about 6 minutes...

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 20:12

Next one had another bidding war

Not sure what will happen with third one though - think that may go for 99p

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 20:16

Yep it went for 99p .

Don't think anyone wants DS's old trainers....

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 20:34

Two payments and the third lives nearby so I should think they may well want to pick up.

I am going to buy DD's Christmas present with some paypal balance

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 20:36

And one of the advent calendars (ends tomorrow) has had more bids. Will keep hopeful for tomorrow night with more ending.

Tortoise · 14/11/2009 21:18

Doing well Idris . Well done.

Added a couple more items to Turbo lister. 28 in total now. Aiming for 30 tonight lol!

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 21:36

Where have the digital photo frames put themselves?

Tortoise · 14/11/2009 21:39

Where did you put them?
30 items now on turbo lister plus quite a few to re-list. So hopefully all my items will make some money next week. Going to take a chance and do 5 day listing not 7.(I think!)

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2009 21:52

I thought they were in the cupboard under the stairs but seemingly not.

Possibly in the wardrobe, but DH has gone to bed (has man flu ) so will look tomorrow.

mogs0 · 15/11/2009 18:54

I've just listed 8 items on TL but think I'll wait a little while to upload them. I lost my usb thingy to be able to upload pics from mobile until this evening so have quickly listed the things I definitely want to start above 99p. The others can be done as and when as will start at 99p.

I was watching an auction for ELC road track and rescue centre that ended last night for over £50 . I have loads of their stuff and wasn't planning to list the road but I might now seeing how popular it is! I use it for CMing but also have a train track so don't think I need both!! When ds has gone to bed I'll set it all up to take photos - if I do it while he's up he'll either want to play with it or keep it!!!

Anyone listed yet today?

mogs0 · 15/11/2009 19:03

Idris - your calendar's doing well!! I was going to offer you a fiver when you first mentioned you were going to ebay it . I didn't realise they had just a high re-sale value!! Now I just have to find a local shop selling them because I ds would really love one!!

IdrisTheDragon · 15/11/2009 19:43

I am quite amazed at the calendar - it is more than I paid for it 2 years ago I think . The other one is doing all right as well but I was more expecting that amount for the first one.
