Summer Ebay Challenge!!! Shall we try for another £300?

I need motivating to de-clutter and make my bank account look a bit healthier!!! I've got loads of bags and boxes packed with car-boot stuff that didn't sell the other week so might start with that and list those things at 99p just to make a bit of space.

Anyone with me? Shall we set the deadline for end of Summer term (about the 18th July here)?

I need to this too, is it too late to join? I'm taking the kids to Euro Disney and had expected a bonus at work to pay for spending money but I am not getting anymore so I need to make some cash quickly!

hippopotamouse · 14/07/2009 10:38

So I have 6 items that will sell and 37 people watching 15 items. Fingers crossed! I have a few more things to list as well. here

Tortoise · 14/07/2009 12:44

Welcom hippo and good luck with our items.
Never too late to start raising some holiday funds.

hippopotamouse · 14/07/2009 13:53

Holiday is in 14 days, I'm being a bit of optimistic I think! Thanks for the welcome

Tortoise · 14/07/2009 13:56

How much are you looking to make?

mel1981 · 14/07/2009 14:21

Looks like your on a roll tortoise.

Welcome hippo. Every little bit helps & it doesnt hurt to be optimistic.

Ive got loads listed and more to list. my ebay
only 1 99p bid and a few watchers, lots of my items are on their 3rd time so will prob freecycle or charity shop them which is a shame cause its good stuff. But still need to declutter either way.

hippopotamouse · 14/07/2009 17:34

About £160? I have money put aside but it is DD's birthday as well so the bonus was for big birthday dinner/cake etc. I have bids on 7 items that will sell and now have 48 watchers on 19 items. Have listed about 50 items over the past few days.

I've just bid on your Dora jigsaw mel, I'm not sure this thread is helping me lol!

mel1981 · 14/07/2009 17:43

hippo Thats what I thought when I started looking at everyones listings LOL.

Thanks, The jigsaw is in excellant condition, my son was given it a year ago 4 xmas I think, but that year he got so many jigsaws he took the cellophane off and didnt get any further! Its been sat in a cupboard since. My boys have way too much stuff- its unbeleivable!

fingers crossed that you get your £160 for your hols.

MaDuggar · 14/07/2009 17:49

Its slow but steady for me

Got £5 coming (I have no idea what an echeque is but Paypal say it means I get it on the 20th, and at least it's guaranteed), and a £5 bid on a skirt.

Thinking about rounding up stuff round the house for one last push before I go back to work. And not buying stuff I can't afford... er, hippo, would your Coast top fit someone with F-cup breasts? I need to dress up for a couple things soon!

hippopotamouse · 17/07/2009 17:07

Mine are E-cups, it was a bit cleavagey but if thats the look you were going for then yes!

notcitrus · 17/07/2009 17:45
