I need motivating to de-clutter and make my bank account look a bit healthier!!! I've got loads of bags and boxes packed with car-boot stuff that didn't sell the other week so might start with that and list those things at 99p just to make a bit of space.

Anyone with me? Shall we set the deadline for end of Summer term (about the 18th July here)?

Wahey - +ve feedback from camera buyer, so that's £357 received in last 60 days, guaranteed!

Laptop buyer claimed to have bid 'by mistake' and refused to pay, and of course the other bidders now aren't interested. So will re-list soon. Tape drive didn't go either so will try the tapes separately.

Have a baby monitor to list and a few other widgets - want to get as much as possible out of the house before returning to work mid-August. Suspect not much decluttering will happen for a whilee then...

Tortoise · 05/06/2009 10:14

Mel Gongrats on newborn DS.

SNOW Arrgghh nightmare for you. Glad can be fixed. Hope you make enough sales to pay it off.

Notcitrus Glad all worked out with camera. Shame about the laptop. Hope it goes well when re-listed.

I really hope to find time to list some bits tonight.Have nearly spent all the money i had in paypal. Although £52 of it was on DS1's mobile.

notcitrus · 05/06/2009 11:54

mel congratulations on your newborn! Very impressed you're online at all...

thanks tort - I've been good so far at not spending much online, just £10 on a nappy bag (£55 new) which I have to collect next week. Although I did just spend £60 on the tropical fish shop.

Time to take photos while A naps...

Tortoise · 05/06/2009 12:48

I have pulled out the entire cupboard!
Going to take photos, make a list and weigh everything to be Ebayed before plonking it all back in! Hopefully that will work. May also add all the photos to photo box thingy and put on MN for sale bit.

Now, where did i put the camera........

Tortoise · 05/06/2009 22:40

Good one Tortoise- wish I was having a bit of luck.

BethAndHerBrood · 16/06/2009 14:57

Tortoise - is your england jacket a "roll up and stuff in the schoolbag" type of thing? Or a proper jackety jacket?

Tortoise · 16/06/2009 17:49

Mel Not a huge amount of luck really. most items didn't sell.

Beth It is a 'roll up and stuff in a school bag' type jacket.

Thanks, have bid.
