Haven't listed anything yet, but going to be starting to pack for my move soon, so as I go along I'll list stuff I don't want to keep.

Anyone going to join me???

My bits end tonight. Have 10 bids so far. 7 items will sell.

notcitrus · 05/03/2009 21:01

Blimey - bidding war over a bundle of clothes! I was hoping for £5-10 and they've gone to over £25! Will throw in a couple extras I think.

A birthing book is going for the same as new on Amazon, too. So that's £80 since Christmas.

Have lots of computer bits to sell but that needs MrNC to sit down and tell me what they are.

I'm Freecycling anything that won't make at least £2 on Ebay and the charity shops won't take, which at least gets it out of the house.

Tortoise · 05/03/2009 21:04

wow well done citrus.

My Bob the builder toys are doing ok. 11 items will sell,25 bids in all!

Tortoise · 05/03/2009 21:13

Another 2 bids! And one more item will sell.
That's 12 out of 18 items that will sell.

mogs0 · 06/03/2009 22:46

Tortoise - How did you do last night?

I think my refresh button is going to break in a minute the amount I'm using it!! Going to switch pc off and go and have my tea. 3 out of the 6 items listed will sell and a fourth only needs £6 more to meet it's reserve.

StudentMadwife · 06/03/2009 23:19

Yay! just made £92 from two items, was going to give them away as thought they wouldnt sell well-glad I didnt!

mogs0 · 07/03/2009 10:24

Well done!!

Mine finish tomorrow evening and will try and turbo list a few more bits over the weekend.

Tortoise · 07/03/2009 13:34

Made about £50. Not bad. Really wish i had things to sell that were worth more!

Insanity · 08/03/2009 13:43

Yay, all my 9 items sold and I made £320 !!
Now off to root through the garage........

mogs0 · 08/03/2009 16:20

Wow, that's brilliant!! I've got a couple of hours left on mine and currently at £130. I'll be more than happy with that because it'll create a tiny bit of extra space and is incentive to get more things listed!! I'm going to go and sort through a couple of things now and get them on.

Tortoise · 08/03/2009 19:16

£320 Well done.

I have a few bits ready to upload tonight.

PurlyQueen · 08/03/2009 19:21

Sign me up - perhaps a public declaration will spur me on to actually listing stuff on eBay

Insanity · 08/03/2009 20:19

It helped that I put my dh's bike on (some sort of racing bike - very popular by all the bids )
And the ORT book sets did really well, got way over double for one set then what I actually paid for them in the first place!!
Good luck to everyone else that is selling stuff x

mogs0 · 08/03/2009 20:58

3 items sold for £125, 1 unsold and 2 with an hour left.

I've just listed my Emmaljunga twin buggy and feel a bit sad about it because I really love it but it's just too big for this little house.

Tortoise · 08/03/2009 21:32

uploaded a couple of bits

mogs0 · 09/03/2009 18:00

The pram has bids up £50 already!! The reserve is quite a bit higher though but I'm hoping it'll meet it. Feeling less sad about it now its got bids on!! Also, I cleaned my lounge this morning (where it currently lives) and will be quite glad when it goes because it takes up a fair amount of room!!!

Tortoise · 09/03/2009 21:20

Sold one items on BIN.
Going to upload more tomorrow night. Have some girls clothes and boys clothes to list.

Tortoise · 09/03/2009 22:45

Arrrgghh! Buyer of PSP game that ended last night, hasn't paid and is now no longer registered on Ebay. What do i do now? Is their any chance they will pay? Was only £2.20 but i don't really want to have to re-list it! Have already given DS1 his money for it!!

Insanity · 10/03/2009 17:14

Maybe wait to see if a cheque in the post appears but if not you can to a second chance offer?

Tortoise · 10/03/2009 19:22

Thanks. They haven't contacted me for my address so looks like they won't be paying. As bids didn't go very high i think i might re-list and take a chance.

I was going to list more tonight but i have a headache so probably won't. i could re-list some unsold items though.

mogs0 · 15/03/2009 20:35

Did you get payment after?

I'm so excited!! I've just sold my Emmaljunga for £205!!! I hope they're going to collect rather than having to pack it up for a courier. Will have to wait and see when they pay.

Tortoise · 16/03/2009 21:34

Wow well done Mogs.

No i never got payment, so i reported it as unpaid. Got fees back. Now just need to get round to re-listing it!

mogs0 · 16/03/2009 21:42

Thanks! I'm supposed to be packing it instead of being on here!!

Shame about not getting your money, there's always the possibility you'll get more for it when you re-list!!

I have so much to put on but really can't be bothered. The things I've sold recently have been things that I thought would sell for quite a good price but the things that are left are things that'll probably only go for a couple of quid. Part of me wants to charity-shop them and while I spent so long deciding they just sit in a box getting in the way!! I think I'll go through it all (again!) tomorrow while I'm waiting in for the courier and try to be ruthless.

Anyway, I'm down to 2 buggies now and considering so that's a definite step in the right direction!!!

Tortoise · 16/03/2009 21:45

Hopefully it does sell for a bit more! DS1 would be thrilled!

I think all the stuff i have is only worth a £ or 2 but i need the money so i feel i have to try and sell them rather than give it all away. Am going to do small bundles of clothes and hope they don't go for 99p. It is just finding the energy/interest to list everything!!
